Currently i'm the drummer for bball pep band. i was wondering, if you are the drummer too, how do you play? sheet music or make it up? at my school we've always just make something up and never even look at the sheet music. also, how do you go about choosing the next drummer? i know for us it's take a freshman and train him/her for a season and pass on the torch.
