Laxus walked out onto the arena floor from the entrance, his scar seeming to crackle with electricity. " I'm here now... Who is it that I must defeat? " He said, drawing a wooden blade from hos back. He stood there, his blade pointed directly at his opponent's gate. " I want you to show your face. " He said, the two wooden objects hanging from his back clacking together, one sounding much, much heavier. " I'll rip you asunder with all of my power. I am Laxus... Lightning Prince! " He said, his face visably crackling.

Sitting on top of the gates a lone woman had her eyes set on Laxus ever since he entered the area. " Pitiful." Was all she said as she observed his reaction. ' Lightning Prince, please. ' Was what coursed through her mind as she dropped her body and looked at the man, taking out a single sheet of paper, pressing her chakra against it, she seemed to be setting something inside that paper, but what. " State your business here 'prince'" She said mockingly waiting for the man to make a move.

" I intend to make you bow to my lightning techniques. " Laxus said looking at the woman infront of him. " Tch, you're too young to be a match for me. " Laxus said, lunging forward, and switching hands with his blade extremely fast. His hands shot together, fast as lightning. " Chakra strings. " Laxus said lightly, he was still too far for the woman to hear, his strings leading from his hand directly into the sword. " Now, feel my blade. " He said, swinging his blade at the woman, his hand stopping half way as the sword left his hand and sped up. his free hand reaching for a kunai from his pouch.

" Hmp, a little judgemental aren't we?" She asked the man, seeing the blade she didn't make much of it yet. She made some seals and slammed her hands on the wall, waiting for the right moment, which was when the sword was about 7 feet from her. He pressed her chakra against the ground and made a large wall raise before her. " Ram Head. " She called out as a slightly curved wall rose up in front of the girl covering her from the attack. Being a sealer and a Rouge, she knew that people wouldn't throw away their weapon unless they had a plan so she better play it safe. After the wall was erected she grabbed a kunai and wrapped the seal on it, afterward she stabbed the kunai on the wall and made more seals. " Tremor Sense Jutsu." She whispered now activating a jutsu that would let her monitor his movements without having to see him.

Laxus laughed, the sword halting in it's tracks. The sword rose sharply, and went directly above the ram's head, and bagan a rapid decent. Laxus threw a kunai, puncturing the wood, a hiss of poisongas shooting from the crack. The wooden sword buried itself into the ground immediatly behind the woman, the ram's head reflecting the poison mist perfectly back into the woman's face. " Heh, I didn't expect someone to give me such a perfect chance at that. " Laxus said laughing. " I'm not much for close range fighting, and you've just put me in my element. " He said laughing. Laxus quickly dismissed his chakra strings laughing as he jumped away, putting his hands together for a more amazing technique, should he need it. He was standing in the middle of the arena, well away from her, his hands together. " Come on, don't tell me I've already defeated my opponent with a little bit of poison mist. " He said, his smile wide, and his eyes wild.

She didn't feel anything hit the stone wall with her tremor sence, which made her back up and away, picking up her kunai. By the time she jumped away the sword hit the ground and she saw the poison mist. " Cheap Trick." She commented. After that she began jumping and making flips to the side, entering a small arrangement of trees which she would use as cover against Laxus.

Laxus began laughing maniacally. " You're seriously thinking you can hide from me? " Laxus said smiling, his laughter subsiding as he got a serious look on his face. His hands shot quickly, a long string of signs being produced. " Call of Lightning! " He said laughing as the sky turned dark and overcast, thunder audible. " I am the king of this arena now! " He said, laughing as lightning shot down towards the highest object, one of the outer trees in the arena's central area. " With this technique... I'm surrounded by my element! " He said, continuing his maniacal laughter, he laughed, running towards the trees. He smiled and placed his hands torgether again, a lightning bushin appearing infront of him. " Now, go find our prey. " He said smiling.
" Yes master. " The Bushin said, turning to run into the forest after the woman, his kunai drawn.

Unlike what he would think, she wasn't hiding. She had got inside within the trees so that he couldn't see. Moving inside the trees the lightning crashed and didn't hit her, it wasn't even close. She made her way on the ground toward where she could feel that he was close, meanwhile the clone was behind her. Before she came out she made handseals. " Hidden Mist Jutsu " She whispered and mist came around the area, now his visibility was gone and she had total control of the area as she could still feel him thanks to the tremor sense jutsu. She then threw the kunai near him, but far enough for him not to be able to see it. She made a single seal and activated the seal that was on the tag. From the kunai a river of mud came out that would slam into Laxus and drive him away. Meanwhile she rose the sleeve of her shirt and took out some in and began writing a vast array of seals on her left arm.

The Bushin paused in his tracks, stopping as mud splattered the ground infront of him, getting his shoes muddy. " Tch. " It said sighing. " You know that it is only a matter of time until these trees are gone. It isn't like this is a forest. " He said sighing, kneeling and taking out some flint. He smiled, digging the kunai into the tree, he twisted it, the tree openning. " While it is wet, I'm still able to light it fairly easily. " he muttered, smiling and striking the flint at the tree a couple of times, a small flame sputtering to life. " Good. " He said, picking up some dead leaves and putting a stick into the hole he had made, stacking the leaves on it, making the fire bigger as it grew to take over a foot long circle on the tree. " I'm burning your forest down just so you know." The Bushin said smiling, kneeling in the mist. ' While I can't see in this mist, she can't either. I'll hide in the fire's shadow and wait for her. ' The Bushin though, as Lightning struck the tree immediatly next to him, the shockwaves being too much for even it's electric body to take.
The tree burst into flames, a huge crack down it's middle, the flames spreading. Laxus looked on in laughter, he had decided to lay down and watch the festivities. " So, she managed to kill my bushin, coinciding with the lightning storm? Or did my Bushin die so easily against it's own element? " Laxus said, his face a sorry sight as he thought of that. " Oh well, Time for another Bushin. " He said smiling, forming his hands into another Bushin. " Go have fun. " He said smiling.
" Aye. " The Bushin said, running to the forest, which was now shrouded in mist. " The master can keep this up for a while, and your cover is burning. " The Bushin said standing on the outside of the forest, waiting.
