I did that to my seventh grade year. It makes you all feel happy inside... lol, I also did it my freshman year, first chair in the top band. stupid seniors. oh well, MAJOR CONGRATS!!!! It is a good feeling to be those higher than you.

theonlypart that I didn't like about being a first chair in Middle School, was that the lights on the school stage were directed right into my face, and those lights in your face can really make it all too hot, and well, then you get out of breath, and that's never good rofl

oh me gosh! a seventh grader just like me! heart ::slow reaction:: OOH ITS YOU! ::pokes:: I think....
anyways, congrats ^-^...I'm currently fifth chair...
...
I used to be fourth then third then seventh and now fifth...o.O;. last year I was third chair in sixth grade, beat the first chair ms. e never switched us....mr. acciani hasn't done a seating test in years...o.O; I want one!
my new private teacher claims he'll get me to first chair though...he's real good... biggrin proffessional~! xD.
I wish I could be in first chair...but noo why of all schools does south pointe have to be the best gonk it makes it hard with all the good good...really good musicians crying ; ah well oh well biggrin ;.
anyways, congrats! Have fun tuning the band, and your conductor always picking on you! whee

I didn't have chairs in middle school! We just got mixed together. That and we didn't compeat with the 8th graders, there were two mixed bands per grade level. gonk

i remember back in seventh grade, i was first chair the first time we had "chairs" and then i was always second or third. now i'm first again here in ninth grade... yah, right in front of doc so he can yell at me cry
even when i didn't do anything...

grats... it took me a year & a half to get to firs chair... and even then it was by default... our previous first chair dropped out or sumthin'
