did you know- canada has no laws against abortion. this means that not only is it legal to have an elective abortion, but a third-trimester abortion? furthermore, they are free, paid for by tax dollars. this must be stopped. whoever has any power, please notify as many pro-life groups as possible- this seems to be neglected and unknown to most and needs to be brought into the light and stopped.

That's awful... Something must be done, really!
But I am not able to do anything, for I live on the other side of the world. Quite literally.

I think Lorysa meant that the canadian laws are horrible, but at least the US is moving in a pro-life direction or "getting there"

Talon-chan Am I missing something? "Canada - This is true? How horrible, at least America is sort of getting there" What did Canada do? What Broorel said. Not prohibit late-term abortions. At least, I think they're illegal in America. Not saying there isn't anyone in Canada who isn't trying to do anything, but they're still legal there, according to the first post. But since many states in America would ban abortion if they could, that's why I said "At least America is sort of getting there."

Yeah, Canada's in bad shape when it comes to the pro-life movement, overall.
We don't have any restrictions.
Unless Miranda gets involved, no matter what people think, I believe we'll always have it.

Blame Canada, blame Canada..sorry...
Anyways, I really hope the Canadian prolife movement grows. I see two possible global outcomes of the US outlawing abortion. A-everyone follows suit or B- People hate America even more and say that abortion is being taken away by wacko fundies.
I hope Canada chooses option A

I believe the decision was left to the states. it's pretty much illegal everywhere, minus the mother's health condition.... but yes, we really must do something... we could march, if we get enough people together, raise awareness... i am not in a great position to act either, but i would like to do anything i can.
