Yalei slowed to a trot as she looked around her. The day was still young as she looked up at her surroundings. She hadn't wandered too far from the Flock's boundaries, but wanted to see if it was possible to capture her first male. Of course, Yalei felt like the stallion needed to be strong and able to defend himself. If the male couldn't even come close to her in any ability, then he would definitely not be worth it.
A slight breeze caused her head to lift a little higher and closed her eyes, enjoying the cool air that ruffled between her feathers and her armor. They weight of her armor didn't bother her much since she was used to the weight, but Yalei did like to feel the cold air.
When she opened her eyes again, she saw a figure in the area. The stallion's coat was as pure white as fresh snow. "Hmm...", Yalei thought to herself. "He could very much produce children that could blend into different surroundings."
Slowly, she approached the stallion, wondering if the male would be her first catch or not.

Alexandre had made it up the mountain once again, this time hoping to see if he could find the mare he met the last time as well as see how they could possibly survive in this high altitude. He knew from his meeting with that mare that they were certainly built different--as they would have to be to live here in the first place-- but they had a different smell than any other mare that he had met in his life. The last one he met had the strong and almost overpowering smell that mares have. Which signified to him that there were alot of them. But the question he kept coming to was how in the world did they survive this climate and terrain?
Thus it led him to venture back up the mountain in hopes he could find out what it is that allowed them to live up here by themselves. As he walked along the path that had led him to his previous meeting place he wondered just how possible it would be that he met the same mare. Their last meeting had been odd to say the lease, but then again he figured it might be due to their customs or, something.
Finally when he reached the forest that was close to the little lake in which he had met that strange and curious mare he came to a halt. Smelling the air for any signs of life. As he stood there smelling it didn't take him long to hear what sounded like footsteps coming closer and closer to him. Turning his head to look at the mare--had he have been able to see-- he smiled. "Hello miss." He said politely, smelling once again the familiar smell that the mares seem to have here. "My name is Alexandre." He said, bowing to her just as he did any other soquili. His right wing unfurled from his back and gently touched his chest. When he rose he returned his wing to it's previous position which was being held tightly against his back.
