Sara wasnt very expierence in the travel and landin the roguelands she had spen her time byr the Chowke pride borders as her 'half' siblings lived there. She would use the term half because even though they werent related there moms were old lovers so they grew up as far as she could remember.

She found herself a bit lost, well thats how she felt. The pride was so far she felt like she had been wondering aimlessly for days. Her mother said follow the rising moon and it will lead you to the pride. So far she felt her journey has been made in vain because she has seen no sign off life in days.

Hokulani felt miserable. Her paws ached and her stomach growled a tune she didn't like. Traveling blind was a tough life and she wished that she'd find someplace to call home, or even just someone to travel with until she found that place at the moment. The sky was dark but she didn't know that by sight as her world was always cast in darkness, but she felt the change through her fur and could sense the difference. At the moment she was much to tired to do anything but stay near the water she had 'seen'. However she tilted her head up and swivled her ears, her other senses much stronger now, to listen. Someone seemed to be out there moving about as she could 'see'.

Sara continued to walk in the direction of the moon hopeing she would be able to find it soon she didnt like beign alone. She continued to walk until her ears twitched, she could her the sounds of paws patting against the ground, it helped that the night was filled with dead air as even the crickets were not chirpping. She cautiously made her way the the sound despereate for any social contact.

She came to find this beautiful lioness that almost blended in with the night sky, both of them baring a cresent moon. The females on her forhead and her own on her chest. "Hello." She said eager and excited to see someone in this waste land, at least thats what she felt like.

Lani didn't look right at the female, only letting her ears swivel as best they could in her direction. "Hello." came her gentle reply. Hunger gnawed at her but it could be ignored for a moment longer. "How are your travels?" Lani could at least tell that this female was not full grown and yet not a cub either.

Sara eagrly bounced toward he female,"My travels are a bit dull at the moment." She said smiling. "How are yours?" She went over to the female making sure to keep a good distance between them making sure the female wasnt uncomfortable, Sara was very social and eager to meet new lions but she had a tendecey of coming off a bit to harsh.

She felt like she had to ask her a million questions she loved to make friends. "Im Sarraqa, Sara for short." She decided that would be a good place to start since she would be spending some time with her voyage with the lioness unless she didnt want to then sara would be sad but respect her decision.

"Dull? Why so?" Asked Lani, feeling a little nosey. She usually wasn't but she wanted a conversation and this was the first one she had come across in a while. "My travels are somewhat dull, but I'm always finding new things. The name is Hokulani. It is nice to meet you Sara."

She sighed, "Honestly im a bit lonely, i have seen my family in a long time and im begging to wonder if ill ever find my mother." She hung her low.

"Thats a pretty name." She said a bit happier thats she was with someone, it made her feel a bit better."What kind of things do you find?" She aslo loved new thing but was to sad to really pay attention so some helpful advice from an older llioness might help.

"Come here young one. I'm glad to have company and it makes the loneliness a bit more bearable when you have another." Lani was starting to get into that sort of motherly place.

"A various sorts. None of them I took with me however. Its hard for an old blind thing like me to carry anything to much. If I weigh myself down I become slow and an easy target, I don't want that." she explained.

"Blind?" Sara was almost taken off guard, she didnt seem blind. The young lioness was fighting the urge to wave her paw in front of her face. "You dont act blind." As soon as she said that she felt a little guilty, she normally isnt so hurtful, she normally would look past that and not pry into the subject but it just slipped out.

"And you not old your look like your my mommys age~~" She said smiling at the fact that she was a young adult and still said mommy like a cub. As she thought about it though her mother was a bit old but she only had her first litter, it was strance to picture her having a littler with someone who wasnt dad but its what made her happy and thats what she deserved.

"I've learned to hone my senses. But I assure you, I am blind." She didn't mind the young one being so blunt, it wasn't uncommon for this to happen. "Well I'm older than you." She replied with a laugh. Although she couldn't see the other smiling, she could feel that the other was happy, her vibrations were upbeat. "How long have you been traveling?"

Sara was fasciated she wouldnt honestly know what to do with out her sight, and she was amazed she did it on her own. Sara would imagine she would at least have a mate or someone to help. This lion was truely someone to look up too and sara was glad she had the privliage of meeting her.

"I've been traveling for a week time." Although it felt more like a month. She couldnt wait to reunite with her mother. "I hope to reach her in a few days. Although i am pleased to have met you, chats such as these do slow my progress." She didnt want to be rude and it was nice to talk to someone but she did have to get back on path, it was a long journey and she still had a long way to go.

"That's a long time to travel." Lani said with a smile. Though it seemed this young one was already raring to get going so soon. She wouldn't delay her much longer it seemed. "It was nice to meet you Sara. I understand if you must go. Maybe in the future we can meet again. I would very much like that. I hope that your journey takes you where you want to go and that your feet don't lead you astray. But before you depart, drink a little. You will need it."
