As an Adult, he found it hard to live with himself. Everything his sister said- everything Zhen said. Was coming true. He had alienated the only one he loved, to be the bad guy.. He was blamed for Utsuki's almost death- he manned up and said it was him though it was a lie. Gin and Nyota- their families that stayed tight for so long.. It came to the last straw that broke his mother's back.. When father left, it was ok for a while- but when this boiled over.. gin had gone toe to toe with Nyota and it wasn't a pretty sight at all.
The boys were training in the beginning of the war, and to prank Utsuki- Kohaku devised a plan to let him sweat in the dawnwalkers. Little did they know that the dawnwalkers were expirencing harsh weather conditions and their prior enemy- the vultures nearly ate Utsuki alive... With the strain of war- Gin couldn't help be on edge- and with the smell of war, one of her sons was missing? All because of what she thought was Kowab? No wonder the fight resulted the way it did.
Mother was gone and he knew it. Everyone alienated him now.. all because he told a lie to save his friend from being pulled out of the upcoming war. Just so Kohaku couldn't be shunned out of his family- he rather take the blame... He was his villian right? mother couldn't even much stand him and Gin basically dropped him like a baby giraffe- the only thing stopping her from ripping him to shreds was the respect she had for his mother.. So he slept outside of the cavern by the sea where they made their home.. In the cold night- it rained.
When Luci came- when every thing came down and everyone looked at him with pure judgement. He ailed- to find the result of the prank.. They took him by surprise and he could only man up.. The look Luci gave him- when she said how she felt- of course he would shun it with all his might.. Make her run from him... He now started to believe he was the cause of Utsuki's injuries.. He didn't want to see anyone. He wanted to be miserable.. and live in the pain. He laid upon the sands, letting the rumbling tide push him nearer- and nearer as the storm came. Blank to the world... If he didn't have Luci- what else was there?
The feeling of the world ending, and not in a dramatic sense. Literately his family and his only heart were gone. His best friend left him- what else! Lounging forward- for the days he went on straight- wearing his pads down dry.. He ended up in a place where darkness seemed to be common. The clouds were dark here and the world around him felt surreal. Like if he was in a daze, then as he ran.. something caught up to him and he was surrounded in merely minutes. A pride? A pack?
He was attacked.. and with an empty head of nothing but sorrows. He fought them off for a short time but soon he would let himself go.. and get thrown around a bit before being thrown over a hill side. The rocky terrain below met every part of his body but it was fortunately not a long way down but too tight for them all to come after him.. So they left him there..
