It was mid-afternoon the day after the party, and Jomund was sitting bellow what he hoped was Joi's window, he held his breath and lifted up a decent sized rock, hoping it wouldn't break the glass as he chucked it up against the glass, he relaxed when it tinked off the window.

Joi had been engrossed in a book as she laid on her bed. She was grounded and for the first day of her punishment, confined to her room. Hearing the tink on her window, she looked up, glancing around her window. She was unsure what the noise even was.

Jomund wasn't even sure this was going to work, but he did it again, throwing another pebble at her window, having it tink off again. He could fly up there of course, but that would put him in view of the living room window, and he didn't want to risk it... Who knew who might be looking out, and he'd been forbiddon from seeing Joi...
That didn't sit well with him at all...
He picked up a third pebble, and threw it.

Hearing the sound again, Joi snaps her head towards her window. "Is it a lost bird?" she wonders aloud. Setting her book down on her bed, open and face down, she slowly swings her legs over the edge to stand up. Heading over to the window slowly, she stayed cautious in case it was a frantic animal. Not seeing anything, she pushed the window up, stepping back slightly when the breeze hit her. She looked outside, then towards the forest floor and grinned.

Jomund froze as the window started to open. He smiled and looked up and waved. "Hey!" He called up to her window, though, trying to be quiet his eyes darting to the window that showed the living room. He then turned his attention back to Joi. "So, we still on?"

Joi was glad to see her friend, but sighed and frowned when he asked if they were still on. "I'm grounded today." she said, trying to stay quiet too. She looked over her shoulder towards her closed door, thinking for a moment. Neither her mom or dad had come in to check on her so far today...

"Why don't you just sneak out?" He asked her flat out. "Have they been coming to check on you? You might could rig a way to make it look like you're just in bed..." He chuckled, something that he'd never been able to use on his parent's but he had on occasion snuck out of the house on em...

Joi had been thinking it, and having him confirm it only made it more rational in her mind. She felt she was being wrongly punished anyway, because she didn't know there was booze in that punch. She figured a great injustice was done, so she wasn't going to pass up the chance at her first 'date'. She was excited to go out and do something with an adult that didn't treat her like a child. She nodded, tho he might not have seen it, and disappeared into her room to fiddle with a few things. She shoved a few plushies under her blanket making a Joi-shaped lump. Pleased with the idea, she nods and heads towards the window, climbing up on the sill.
Looking below her, she contemplated how to get passed the downstairs windows without being seen, so with a stroke of 'brilliance' she figured she'd play wounded animal. Turning so her back was facing outside, she leaned back and let herself fall past the window. Her idea was that she'd fall fast enough her folks would think it was a bird or squirl falling out of the tree again.

Jomund watched her fall and moved over towards where she was going to 'fall'. He hoped she'd fly near the end of her fall and therefore he wouldn't have to try and catch her, but he wasn't too sore on the idea of catching her, that might actually be fun. Regardless though, his first thought was making sure she got out of the house without getting hurt.

Joi's fall was a test of a few things. A. To get past her parents, B. To see how Jomund react and C. To be mischieviously playful. Jomund seemed like the type to have fun with at least so she wanted to see. She 'fell' nearly the entire way, only catching her self maybe the last couple feet to slow down enough so that she wouldn't knock him down if she landed in his arms.

Jomund smiled up at her holding his arms out to her, aiming to 'catch' her in her fall, after all, where would be the run in having her tumble out of the air and onto her a** only to not be able to climb? Besides, she looked like a fun Pae to hold, nothing wrong with being close to a friend...

Joi landed in Jomund's arms and giggled. "Aww! My knight has rescued me!" She giggled more and kissed his cheek lightly. Perhaps she was being too forward? But it was in her nature to be overly friendly sometimes. Waiting for his reaction and to see if he'd put her down, she put one arm around his shoulder, "So where we headed today?"

Jomund chuckled and put her down after a moment letting her stay close, and retunring the kiss to her cheek. "I was thinking the mountain, seeing as once we know we can conquer that we can conquer anything..." He laughed and then slowly pulled back, but took hold of her hand and then bowed. "And a Knight must always protect his Princess," He laughed.

Joi's cheeks turned a deeper purple at his comment. "Why thank you good Sir." she gave a wink and did a cute little curtsy. Overly cheesy kidding around aside, she straightens up her posture a bit and dusts herself off. "I'm glad you came and found the place. I was worried you would think I stood you up when I wasn't at that oak tree."

Jomund chuckled and shook his head. "Your father told me on no uncertain terms that I was not to see you, that rubbed me very much the wrong way..." He said with a mischevious grin. "So I figured you probably wouldn't be at the Oak, so I decided to find your house... You know, if you can do this more often you could probably slip out and meet me there..." He smiled and nodded his head. "But come, before they check on you..." He chuckled and started to pull her into the underbrush.
