Oddly enough, Amphi had found time to come out of her aquarium, enjoying a small moment of a fresh air and peace from her now intense collection of minipets.
Amphi had now found herself with two...once what was one, little pets that emitted a powerful amount of electricity and love to cuddle, would be nice if she didn't react so violently to them both.
She hadn't named the pair, hoping that they might not get to attached to her but....oddly enough both of the pets seemed hell bent on keeping with her, especially with their cute little pudgy faces.
With them and her aquarium though, it was going to be a mistake waiting to happen. Electricity and Water did not mix, especially with two of them now.
"There there." She fed the largest of the two a small treat, hoping to calm the creatures small squeaks as it reached out and took it.
The smaller one perched on her shoulder, emitting its own squeaks as it nibbled on her hair, crawling around and tickling her neck.
"Jack you both are adorable..." She wondered secretly if there was anything else that was just as adorable as them.

(GOD I AM SORRY :c computer problems and I just generally forgot ;;; Where are they, in AMytiville that might have an aquarium? Her room, or somewhere else?)
IT WAS HOT. Really hot, in Amityville, today. Vaith pulled the zipper of his yellow turtleneck down, revealing a slender neck underneath. "You'd think Amityville would have a community pool or something .."
That's what they called the baths, right?
Now that Vaith thought about it, having said it out loud, he wasn't sure that he wanted to share a pool with the rest of the student body. They were all made of .. unique .. things .. which essentially, cut all down, led to fear. But their fear took place in some very odd forms. Like slime. Unfortunately, a stand-up shower wasn't quite the reaper's style at the moment. His familiar, bundled up around his neck looked up curiously.
"It's hot, Note. Why dont you get off and hang somewhere else?"
The familiar refused.

The pair of her kushi's squeaked again, causing her to drop one of them, the smaller of them. It landed with a soft plop before taking off at full speed towards what looked like....what that a boil reaper?
And he was stripping....why was he stripping?
"W...Wait little one." Amphi chased after the small minipet, it's older version hanging on to her shoulder making small happy squeaking sounds as she sped after the small speed demon, good grief, how could something so small speed away so fast??
"H...Hey Excuse me?!" Amphi called out at the boil reaper before pointing to the yellow fluff. "Can you grab that little fluff ball?" She panted. Whoa, it was taking a lot more effort to run today...like no really, was this what Landwalkers dealt with all the time? Hot air blowing at them, she stopped to fan herself. "Your little friend is too damn fast, and how do Landwalkers move around up here!??! Its like a volcanic current up here."Random Artist ROFL Amphi just came fro mher dorm room, which is mostly aquarium with small plots of land for her Minipets. If Vaith is dying of heat (since Amphi might be) She can take him to her Room and they can swim hahaha

Vaith knelt down, the yellow fluffball rolling straight into his hand. He scooped it up, a visible wince as electric jolts shot out, stinging his hands. Ouch.
"You guys have a nasty jolt." Vaith struggled to keep a hold on the kushi as the ghoul neared, her conversation with her little minipet on her shoulder echoing in his downward direction. "Landwalkers?" He asked, gis gaze lowering to look at himself. He was a landwalker?
Besides, wasn't a volcano much hotter than this?

Her smile spread as she watched boil easily scoop it up, wincing in sympathetic pain by the little jolt of pain she saw him have before taking a couple steps closer.
"Thank you." She started as she looked at the fluff ball, giving it a stern gaze before pointing her finger at it. "Look here mister. You can't just go off jumping where ever you want and doing as you please! What if you had gotten hurt? What if you had gotten stepped on?!" Amphi's hands went to her hip as the little Kushi just curled in Vaith's hand, a small squeaking could be heard and it just melted the small anger she felt. The larger Kushi on her shoulder though caught her attention as it stared at the reaper. Looking back over she got a good look at the boil before flushing.
"You..." She stuttered as she looked over him before taking a deep breath..."Oh right! I'm sorry, scatterbrained." She paused before focusing on what he asked her instead of focusing on the fact that he was dressed and looked oddly enough like the small little kushi kushi's she had. "Landwalkers." She cocked her head at him, "is what I call halloweener's who don't originate from the sea...like...um..." Another flush before her gaze drew downwards, "Like me. Cause I'm a mermaid....and live in a aquarium and stuff." Okay now she was telling him too much, he didn't ask what she was and where she lived after all. "Well...I...I should probably take that one back...before he gets too..." Nope, the little fluff ball was attached already, it was staring at her with little sparks of electricity coming from the pouches of its cheeks. A sign that it was happy and content.
Amphi was at a lost as to what to do. That and she felt like she was starting to dry out in the sun. Already she could feel her landwalker legs protesting and her body shivering to change in the cool wets of water. So she stood there awkwardly staring at Vaith and internally debating on just how to go about the situation...

The little kushi curling in his hand was pretty adorable, even if that word wasn't the word Vaith would have liked to use. But at the moment, he had no other vocabulary in store for what radiated pure cuteness. His other hand lifted to absent-mindedly poke at it's small stomach and give it a few pets as she spoke, a smile tugging at his lips as she lectured the minipet.
So that was why she called him landwalker.
"Oh. Mermaid. That's interesting-- It always made me wonder how it might be like to live in water. Especially the sea but it looks like a dangerous place." Vaith remarked with a interested gaze, pondering on the thought. He remembered back to a field trip where he couldn't quite .. swim. Dangerous indeed. But he couldn't imagine living out of his noise-graffiti'ed room and away from his music. His focus redirected back to reality as she mentioned taking the kushi back, his arm awkwardly shifting to try and roll the electric furball out of her hand and into her's. But it refused to roll, sparks of electricity threatening to shock them both. It'd probably be fine if the little guy shocked him but considering she was water ..
"If you're a mermaid and you get shocked, doesn't water conduct electricity?"
It'd be a nasty shock for her, he guessed.
"Why don't I walk you back to your room? Maybe this little guy will get tired and settle somewhere in your room?" Vaith suggested, noting her discomfort. Even he was uncomfortable from the heat, tugging at his collar a little more. Damn, he wore thick stuff.

And the more she looked at the boil, the more she felt that he looked somewhat similar to the little pet on her shoulder and even more so...the little on in his hand. like....really...really similar. It was almost odd to her but since coming to the school....she couldn't put that at the oddest thing to come across.
A shy smile came out as he spoke up, her head nodding with what he said. "Well yes...uh...I suppose yes it can be dangerous...." She blinked blankly at him, "Well uh....more like certain area's of water are dangerous compared to...compared to others?" Yes Amphi, you are so good at explaining your home.
"Well it's nice and cool for one...." She added before blinking again. "Ah yes well, that little one...he hasn't leanred to stop producing the electricy from his cheeks..." She sighed before looking at the one on her shoulder, "Unlike his companion here....and yes...it kinda of hurts when he gets really into..." She flushed at his offer before throwing her hands up and then...back down. How could she argue with that? If he could help deliver the small kushi back, then she wouldn't have to worry AND not get stung every time it decided it was excited or not.
And even so...the boil looked as uncomfortable in his clothing as she did out in the heat before nodding. "Well if you don't mind...I mean...okay..." She stood awkwardly for a moment before turning towards the monster dorms. Looking over her shoulder at him, she gave him a soft smile. "It's a lot cooler in my room too so that'll help? And I have some tea and snacks from a friend if your thirsty...or um...hungry?"
"My name is Amphitrite but a lot of people just call me Amphi for short. What's your name?"
