Shinobi Professions

There are many professions a shinobi can have but they are only limited to two. Each profession has its own pros and cons.


Assassin

Very stealthy and able to hid themselves well among their surroundings Assassins are quick and skilled at killing their targets.


Pros

✓ Able to be and remain unseen and unheard while staying still or while moving
✓ Good as hiding from everyone but those who are assassins, those who are very observant or those with a kekkei genkei allowing them see the assassin. They can also be standing two feet in front of someone and be hidden
✓ Very skilled with using stealth bases jutsus
✓ Can use and create deadly poisons and can resist some poisons
✓ They are able to see in the darkest of places and times
✓ They can become very hard to detect in darkness and blend in with the shadows
✓ Can move from shadow to shadow instantly. They can use this to pop out of nowhere and attack or hide.


Cons

✗ By focusing on their stealth and ending their fights and battles quickly, Assassins have a lack of physical endurance
✗ Assassins are also limited to the weapons they have been trained with that they usually use for killing; however, they can learn how to use other weapons.
✗Assassins also use fewer taijutsu styles

Medical Shinobi

The healers of the shinobi, medical Shinobi or healing nin specialize in healing the wounded.


Pros

✓ Medical Shinobi can heal even the deadliest of wounds and injuries.
✓ Can resist some poisons and extract poison from others. Can also use poison to help the injured
✓ Chakra control is improved
✓ Over time healing improves greatly
✓ Can store their energy in capsules that ninjas can carry with them and use to heal wounds while the medical shinobi themselves is several miles away

Cons
✗ They use few weapons because they usually heal and not fight
✗ Fewer taijutsu styles
✗ Gen and Ninjutsu’s are weaker

Sealing Master

Experts on seals and sealing things…and maybe even people


Pros

✓ Are the only ninjas capable of mastering the art of sealing and can designs their own seals
✓ Can learn seals on their own from scrolls and can teach people
✓ Improved chakra control
✓ “Soon after beginning training in seals, one begins to notice that they are easily spotted. Thus, a solution was required. Some sealing masters learn how to draw the seal patterns in such a way that they are unrecognizable as anything but a picture of the user’s choice. Used on human flesh, it would appear to be a simple tattoo, thus the name. This is done in such a way that it does not harm the seal functions, simply making it look differently. “

✓ Space time manipulations
✓ Can make seals on any surface with a brush of their hand; known has hand sealing

Teaching Master

The teachers and trainers of the new generations of shinobi. They watch the young grow up and train them.


Pros

✓ Able to access scrolls
✓ Improved chakra control
✓ Observant and can learn from watching
✓ Can teach scrolls
✓ Masters of hand-seals

Cons

✗ Having to put up with bratty kids.
✗ May cause: headaches, twitching of the eye and other muscle, wanting to hit something at times, loss of voice from yelling too much.


Puppeteer

The masters of puppets. Able to create regular puppets and human puppets and use them in combat.


Pros

✓ Puppets can use poison along with puppeteer
✓ Improved chakra control
✓Poison resistance
✓Improved control over puppets
✓ Can make themselves into a living puppet (can be good or bad)
✓ Can have human puppets

Cons

✗ Weakened body because they use puppets for defense and attacks
✗ Weaker Gen and Ninjutsus


Weapon Master

Weapons Masters are those who have the ability to master and use almost any and every weapon


Pros

✓Because they master so many weapons their number of weapons and styles is increased
✓ Can have and make custom weapons
✓ Can focus chakra into their legs and move at a great speed toward their opponent to close in on them and attack
✓ Reaction speed is improved
✓ With the ability to use such speed in their strikes they are able to perform two different weapons techniques at the same times (same post)
✓ Able to use one-handed seals

Genjutsu Specialist

A ninja with the mastery of illusions


Pros

✓ Kei resistant genjutsu
✓Improved chakra control
✓Futile resistance meaning genjustus casted can bypass kekkai genkai resistance though some can still resist
✓Massive Genjutsu
✓Can resist genjutsus
✓ Catalyst control

Cons

✗ Weakened body
✗ Fewer weapons and taijutsu styles

Ninjutsu Specialist

Able to master their power


Pros

✓ Increased chakra pool
✓Improved chakra control
✓ Signature jutsu
✓Elemental resistance
✓ Can combine jutsus
✓ Element mastery

Taijutsu Specialist

Masters of hand-in-hand combat


Pros

✓ Taijustu styles increased
✓ Strong bodied
✓ Jumping height is increased dramatically. Good for dodging attacks
✓Can move at great speeds by focusing chakra into their legs
✓Improved reflexes
✓ Cab influence strikes with any element
✓ Tough bodied
✓ Whirlwind – able to spin body very quickly so they can create whirlwind. This can be obtained once person is a master of taijutsu

Shinobi Classes


Shinobi classes are basically Chunin, Genin, Jounin and so on. If you're ranked as a Missing Nin then you class would either be Chunin, Genin, Jounin or whatever else.
