 An ancient mansion deep in the forest. It has been abandoned for 18 years, but the protective barriers around the mansion are still in place to keep unwanted beings out. This mansion was owned by the pureblood vampire aristocrat family; The St.Clair family. Today there is only one known member of the family left alive, and the mansion is in her possession....whether she wants to live in it or not.

 ~Praveena St.Clair~
Praveena led Shing to the mansion where her family used to live...before the incident. Once they arrived, she whispered a few words and a small opening appeared in the many layers of protective enchantments. Once they walked through, Praveena closed the gap. She looked at the mansion, and pain was visible in her eyes; although she kept her bangs in front of her eyes so Shing wouldn't see. No one had entered the mansion since she had left...and no one could enter without her permission.

Praveena sighed quietly and looked around. Everything looked almost exactly the same as the last time she was here. She then walked to the front door and opened it, looking inside. Everything was in it's proper place, and the only difference was that it was a bit dusty in the house.

Shing smiled "for making you feel like that before of course. Flood's death got us both in a spiral...." Shing turned into a small kitten and jumped in Praveena's arms

Praveena smiled as she gently held Shing in her arms. She was surprised by the fact that he had turned into a cute little kitten, but she was learning not to be surprised by anything. Then she looked around and whispered a few words. A moment later, the dust in the house disappeared. She then walked through the kitchen, living room, dining room, home theater, conference room, and the storage room; Shing still in her arms. Everything was exactly the same as before. She then stopped in front of a beautiful wooden door on the second floor of the mansion. She opened the door, her hand shaking. She then stood in the doorway of the room, her eyes teary. This was her parents bedroom....or at least...it used to be. The bed was neatly made, and her parents' things were still on the dresser.

Praveena shut the door and said, "This is the place where my family used to live..." as she leaned against the door.

Praveena sighed quietly and stared at the wall as she spoke. "Well...my family was a pureblood vampire aristocrat family. My father worked to keep vampires under control, and to make sure vampires didn't start mindlessly killing humans. My mother helped him, and kept the relationship between vampires and humans peaceful. I was an only child, and they kept my existance a secret from everyone to protect me. Naturally, there were vampires who felt that they had the right to feed on any human they wanted to, and it wasn't their problem if the humans died or not. It became more and more difficult as the years passed to keep the vampires under control. Then one night...those vampires decided to do something that would put an end to the limitations they hated so much..."

Shing kissed Praveena on the lips and spoke "Say no more your parents are now alive in the room you just left from. Call it a thank you from Flood. She may be dead but when she died I got her abilities and powers. She could revive the fallen now so can I. Flood didn't want to come back so I could use my new powers to help the human race" Shing opened the door showing Praveena Shing speaks the truth. "See"
