If you are willing to wait a very long time for profit go ahead and do it.
I had a hoard of Marshmallow Snowman, I had about fifty of them from the event in 05 I think I'm not sure but I sold them all and made a killing.
I'm a fan of event items but there is a long wait, but it's worth it if you can hold out just make sure it isn't a crappy item just because it is an event item doesn't mean that the demand for it would be great. Good luck! ^u^
