This is just a sample. Feel free to snag it, I doubt I'll have an opportunity to use this lady. I just felt an example would be helpful.


Character name: Shiva Boneleg
Seeming: Ogre
Kith: Witchtooth
Contract: Pathfinder. Using her bone mace as a compass, Shiva can find anything: objects, roads, even abstract concepts like peace of mind. Consequently, she cannot get lost. This ability was learned in the Baba Yaga forest, taught to her by the birds. However, she cannot eat the flesh of any bird.
Appearance: Her time hiding in the forest turned her skin a deep green. Her teeth are also more like tusks than teeth. Always has a giant bone mace with her.
Mask/Glamour: Although larger and more muscular than most women, Shiva is not particularly noticeable. Her desire for camouflage keeps her mask pretty average. But her skin does have a strange, sickly green tint. And although she files down her canines, they keep growing back. Her bone mace is disguised as an odd looking umbrella.
Durance (what happened to your character while in Arcadia?): Shiva was abducted at nineteen. For spring break she and some friends traveled to a cabin in the Black Forest, but got lost on the way. They ended up trespassing in the realm of Baba Yaga. They were abducted and for years chased by a house on chicken legs. When caught, they were brutally beaten, mangled, and one by one Shiva watched her friends eaten by Baba Yaga.

One day, while fleeing from Baba Yaga, Shiva came across a fallen nest. Realizing it would be trampled beneath the chicken legged cabin, she lifted it to safety before running off. In return, the birds taught her how to escape Baba Yaga's Forest, but it had a cost. Shiva had to find and desecrate the remains of her friends to build a door out.

Personality: Like most ogres, Shiva struggles with her rage and violent tendencies. A lot of her rage comes from using Baba Yaga's magic. She believes her green skin to be a punishment.

It's actually kind of fun. Being drunk can really help you be creative. I don't recommend doing it every time you need to write something, but it's fun to try something different.
