Lilium fretted over the smallest details as she stepped into the small street-side cafe, fingers busy playing with a lock of her hair. Her eyes nervously shifted around looking for her sister but she relaxed when she realized that she wasn't there yet. Lilium had been worried that she'd be late, as she hadn't been too familiar with the cafe's location. But she'd found it after a little inquiry with some of the shop goers, and with a sigh she settled down at one of the empty tables.
Snow drifted down in lazy flakes outside the cafe's windows and painted everything in white. Winter was always one one Lilium's favorite seasons, despite the water, mud, and illness that came with it. A steaming cup of cocoa was set down in front of her, startling her out of her thoughts. The blond couldn't recall ever placing her order, but shrugged it off as just her being too distracted to pay attention to what she'd been doing. With a frazzled sigh she settled down to wait for her sister to arrive.

Deeper in the cafe Vera watched her sister. She had been in the bathroom when her sister had showed up and seeing how nervous her pretty sister seemed. It was funny to see how worked up she was. Did she cause her sister so much stress?
She sent her sister a mug of cocoa to try and calm her nerves. And as she took the mug into her hands and brought it too her lips she walked up, "Do you always drink things you did not order?" She smiled down at her sunny twin. Dark strands of different colored hair full over her shoulder as she took the seat across from Lilium. "I am sorry to keep you waiting. Don't worry I ordered you the drink. It is still one of your favorites still right?"

Lilium spat out the single sip she'd managed to take as soon as she heard the teasing voice pipe up behind her. "Vera!" She cried, her voice shrill with surprise and to her dismay, cracked right on the last syllable of her sisters name. "Ooooh don't do that! You know I don't like it when you sneak up on me!" She scowled at her sister and resisted the urge to childishly push away her drink.
She sniffed primly before wrapping her hands around the mug, "It is. I don't think I'll ever grow out of it." She offered her sister a small smile, "Have you ordered anything for yourself?" She asked, eyes sweeping over what she could see of her sibling.
"You look well, life is treating you good I take it?" She said, not really giving her sister time to answer her first query.

Vera crossed her left leg over her right and leaned back in the chair to look over her prim and proper sister. Why did she always feel like she needed to be more rebellious when she was near the sister she did love and respect? "Oh I love doing it cause you always react so much to it. Your cute when you jump."
With a smile and a shake of her head she answered both questions, "No I have not and I can't complain with how I have been treated by life. How about you dear sister? Any handsome males in your life trying to woo you over yet? You did catch the eye of the group of them in the back. I wont be surprised if you get at least two more drinks sent over to you." She laughed and grinned at her sister.

"I always knew you were the sadistic type." Lilium crowed, grinning at her sibling, "I swear out of everyone in our family you're the only one to enjoy tormenting me this much."
Her ears dropped at the mention of a man and she let out an explosive sigh, "Nope, no males in my life. I'm starting to think that I'll never find someone interesting enough to stay with. Don't ask about my dating life either, it's felt like one large blind date gone wrong." The scowled into her mug at the mention of more drinks, "You can be my taster than and let me know how they are."
She pouted at her sister, "I might be the one the boys all look at first, but you dear sister have caught some interest as well, sitting here all lonely like me.' She said, unable to resist pointing out the fact that her sister caught just as much attention as she did. "We aren't total opposites you know." She added as an afterthought.

Vera gave a mocked shocked smile, "Oh come now you know I only do it with love. And because you get so cute when your flustered." She laughed softly.
"Yeah I know how you feel. No males in my life either. Sometimes they really are not worth it." She held her hands up, "Oh I wont ask. Though I am sure it is more active than mine is dear sister. At least your out there." She looked down at her sister's mug. "If you like I can test each one for you. Though shall we order some food to go with it?"
Vera gave a smile and a big sigh, "Oh I am always second to you. Your always first though. I guess I don't mind your seconds though for the most part they are never my type." She looked around the room slowly, "Well I don't think that most of the men in this place would have the balls to come and talk to both of us together." She laughed softly, "Well I would not say total opposites. Just mostly opposite."

"Demon child." Lilium mock snorted, "You really do just love seeming me flounder." The blond haired mare played with her mug, "They really aren't at times. Somedays I wonder if I'm destined to be the old cat lady down the street, content with her fuzzy pets instead of a nice stallion."
She tossed her hair over one shoulder and grinned at her sib, "Yes, please taste them for me, that way if you fall over yourself trying to attack some scheming stallion I'll know who to take out first." She laughed waving a hand towards the stallions still eyeing them. "Of course I'll taste your drinks for you and we'll surprise them by jumping the wrong schemers."
She stretched out one leg, easing a small cramp that had begun to form in her calf before crossing her ankles. "Food sounds good but I think I'd rather have dessert first this time around. The peach cobbler has been singing to me since I walked in." She seemed determined to ignore the comment about her sister always getting her second helpings of men. "If any of them did decide to come talk to us I think they'd be shocked at what they'd get. Heaven and Hell indeed, meeting on neutral ground." She seemed to mock the differences between their appearances, "The demon is the angel and the angel the demon, oh woe the world of men-folk Vera and Lilium hath appeared!"
She giggled softly and shook her head, "Ah sorry, that's just something one of my disastrous dates said. But it fits in a way doesn't it?"

Vera laughs "Oh yes I so do." She nods, "Well then I might be with you on that as well. I guess twins more often than not end up sharing a fate." She smiled and leaned back in her chair, "Stallions are often over rated."
She felt her lips curve into a bit smirk, "Oh that sounds like a plan. We shall taste each other's drinks. That way not only will we share any possible drugs we can also see what we like better. I have not been here often so I would be glad to taste lots of what they offer."
"Oh you know they would love it. First off every male loves twins and second you get the dark and light side. It would be like males dream!" she nods and pulled out the desert menu for herself "Oh man they do have some amazing deserts. Yes I think we should do that I might have a hard time between two of these. the Chocolate dream sundae or the mixed fuirts and cream. We could so very much tease those guys and give them such a show they might fall over dead." She laughed and shook her head, "It sounds good lets order these then." she waved the waitress over.
"Oh really that was from one of your dates? Oh was he that cute tall ginger stallion from when we were younger? I didn't even know he knew I excited." She gave a nod and a shrug. "We can be very dangerous when we work together. That is fair enough."
