Senzalia is one of the cities that is being ravaged by the infected currently. Pockets of humans still hold their ground, but the infected control the rest. The city itself is spread out in multiple caves, and to get to each part you can either go through main tunnels or side passages.

Mouse groaned as he sat up and opened his eyes. As he rubbed the back of his neck and looked around, he became aware that he was in a circle of light but the area around him was dark. Mouse looked up, and realized he had fallen through a hole. He forced himself to stand and brushed himself off, while muttering," Just great. I don't pay attention for one moment and I end up falling down an entire level." After he finished getting the dust off of himself, he picked up his M4, flipped on its flashlight, and started shining it around. There were two tunnels he could choose from, and after a few seconds Mouse picked the one on the left. While walking, he could hear the sounds of battle in the distance, but closer than that he could hear the screams of the dying and the dead.

 Imogen was wandering in the cave, until she sat down to take a rest. she put her back against the caves wall and took a drink of water. her ear twitched as she heard someone walking in her direction off in the distance. she turned to the sound and waited, hoping it wasn't undead or a bandit.she pushed some of her hair out of her face and stared into the darkness

Mouse continued walking, but he aimed his light down so that it wouldn't attract any attention. He continued like this for a few minutes, before stopping. Mouse felt watch, and his mouse DNA screamed that one of the predators that hunts mice was near. He started to walk slowly as he flipped off his flashlight. Just a few seconds later, his foot hit a wire and he tripped. Right in front of where the wire was, the path sloped down. Mouse rolled down the slope, and hit his head right above his left eye as he rolled. He came to a stop as the path evened out, and cussed loudly while holding the cut above his eye. Blood quickly covered the side of his face.

Imogen's ears shifted as she heard someone stumble she sniffed the air and smelled fresh blood, and heard someone cuss. slowly standing up she quietly walked towards the dark figure on the ground, her right hand on her gun in its holster the other holding a flashlight which was off. as she neared closer she pointed the flashlight at the person and turned it on. she stood there, for a moment, staring at the mouse boy for some time before saying "you alright?" with a cautious yet concerned tone.

Mouse quickly shut his eyes and turned his face away." What the hell do you think! I'm bleeding!..." He said a little loudly, before slowly opening his right eye. Mouse turned his head a little, and saw that the girl had fox ears. He rolled away and quickly backed against the wall. He grimaced at her, and pressed as much of himself against the wall as he could.

Imogen backed away from him and took her backpack off, she began to dig through it and pulled out a first aid kit and a water bottle. she sat her bag on the ground and slowly walked towards him, her instincts told her he wasnt dangerous and got closer.she took a cloth out of the kit and poured water on it" im not going to hurt you if your not going to hurt me..." she said calmly as she reached over and pushed his hair away from his face and examined the gash. she softly and gently began to wipe away the blood off his face and cut.

"It's not ME that's worried about you hurting. It's the mouse in me," Mouse said quietly as he forced his arms down. He let her wipe his wound and he looked away, embarrassed."Wonderful, first time I get to go out on my own I get wounded and have to get helped by a stranger," he mumbled extremely quietly under his breath." So, why are you helping me? I'm sure your instincts must be telling you to kill me."

she gave a tense laugh and stopped cleaning his wound and took out disinfectant, gauze and medical tape, she disinfected his gash, not warning him about how it would hurt. she then bandaged it up with he gauze and tape.she threw everything back in her kit.imogen didn't say anything while doing this, she was asking herself the same question he asked her. "im not sure.... im helping you because that's what my human DNA is telling me...as for my Fox DNA i want to kill you, but there wouldnt be a reason to.Although i just ate the last of my food im not hungry so there would be no point in killing you. she threw her bottle in her bag and slung it over her katana onto her back. she turned her head, thinking for a moment. still kind of confused why she helped him over killing him.

Mouse winced when she disinfected the wound. After she finished up wrapping his wound, he looked around. He saw his M4 just a few feet from him." I don't even see why your human DNA told you to help me. Most just worry about themselves, never others," he said as he rubbed his bandaged wound. Once she turned her back, he quickly jumped up and dived towards his M4 but landed just barely out out of reach of it." Craaaap," he groaned as he placed his head against the ground.

Imogen heard him get up and dive for something, she looked over and saw him on the ground reaching towards his gun. she calmly put her hand on her gun. she sighed and stared at him lying there on the ground. she gave a little laugh as she stared at him, her ears shifted and her tail swayed, her fox dna making her want to pounce on him. she turned around and went to the area she was sitting at before, and picked up her lantern.she turned it on, lighting up a large area of the cave.

Mouse's eyes widened. He looked towards the path he had come from and listened closely. He heard a few thuds come from the path, then silence. After a few seconds, multiple groans sounded from down the path.Mouse quickly got up and picked up his M4 and aimed it down the hallway." Well crap. I guess they followed me. My luck just keeps getting better and freaking better."

imogens ear shifted and she quickly drew her revolvers from her holster, her ears shifted again and she looked in the opposite direction, "sh*t.....they are coming from the other direction as well....." she said while looking around the hallway. she started to wonder if it would be better for them to work together in order to get out unharmed. she looked behind her at the mouse boy, "where did you come from?" she asked, hoping he might know where a more open cave was or somewhere else that wasnt a cramped hallway of a cave.

"The same place that these things are coming from down here," Mouse said before looking around. He looked up, and grinned." Well, I don't know about you, but I'm getting out of here," Mouse said before putting his M4 on his back, and running at the wall behind him. He reached up and grabbed the ledge of a small ventilation shaft, and quickly pulled himself up and into the shaft.

imogen watched him crawl into the ventilation shaft she tried to run at the wall to reach it but could barely reach. she slid down and looked around and saw that the dead were getting closer, she quickly tried again, climbing more than last time she grabbed onto the ledge, she began to pull herself up and crawled inside. "dont mind if i follow you for now do ya?" she asked while crawling farther in.her ears had to flatten so they wouldn't be squished by the ceiling
