Today's summoning was taking place early in the morning. Nigel had been awoken to the keening of one of the vials, who was currently demanding for him to seek out the guardian with whom it had bonded with. Reluctantly, the redheaded mage had dragged himself out of bed and down to the basement, where he began preparing the spell that was ********. Why the hell was he getting up so early? Why did he care? He didn't, now that he thought about it, but the stupid vial wouldn't stop making noise until he gave it to its guardian, so he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep anyway. At least once he'd gotten rid of the thing, he could go back to bed. As such, he was currently standing there in his bathrobe, glaring at the summoning circle as the magic swirled about. ******** mornings. He hated mornings.

Within the summoning circle, appeared.... a dog. A white dog, with one flopped ear, and unusual markings all down his fur and paws. But a dog nonetheless. He sat down suddenly on his haunches, and canted his head to one side once he started to appear, fluffy tail wagging a bit. There was a stethoscope around his neck, and his legs were adorned with neon-colored rings. A rave-dog?
He didn't seem too perturbed to just suddenly be... summoned, but then again, it wasn't as though there was usually animals appearing inside the circle. However, once he fully solidified, he DID bound to his feet, and playfully pounced toward Nigel, mouth wide-open in a doggy grin.

"...what the crap?" Nigel raised an eyebrow as the dog appeared in his summoning circle, somewhat confused by this turn of events. The vial had chosen a DOG as its guardian? The redheaded man frowned, pondering if he'd perhaps done something wrong - when the dog lunged at him.
Immediately, the redheaded mage jumped back and swung his hand out to swat the dog away from him. "NO! Bad! Stay DOWN, dammit!" Goddess, he hated dogs. There was a reason that Megg had never been allowed pets, and this would be why. "Jumps on me again, and I SWEAR that I will banish you to a nether realm!" It was bad enough that he'd accidentally summoned a dog rather than the vial's guardian - he didn't need the damned thing jumping on him too! Goddess, he hated animals...

The dog melted into something else entirely. A tallish, pale, white-haired boyo, with the ears and tail of the dog, and vaguely rainbow-ish clothing, along with the neon rings from before around his arms.
"Awww..." he said, seeming a bit put out. "I just wanted to hug you. Yanno, like, tackle you to the ground and lick you to bits. You're a person. And you're also cute."
He turned around a bit in the circle, and blinked. "Why am I here? Where is here? Is there something to eat? I'm kinda hungry. And you ARE cute. Can I lick you?"

Holy <********>, this thing talked fast.
Nigel hadn't been expecting for the dog to turn into a humanoid being, but it wasn't anything that he was entirely unfamiliar with - after all, he'd come across shapeshifters before. After so many years on th Earth, there was very little that Nigel hadn't come across. That being said, the speed at which this dog boy was speaking still got on his nerves. God, he just wanted to shove something in his damned mouth, if only to shut him up! Who the hell talked like this?!
"ENOUGH!" With a flick of his wrist, and a small spell to keep it suspended in the air, Nigel tossed the vial in the man's direction. "The only reason that you are here is so that I can give you this! Now take it so I can send you on your way!" God, it was too ******** EARLY in the morning for this!

The boy reached out to take the vial, looking it over, this way and that, licking the glass once, and sniffing at it before he sneezed, and blinked, still sort of half-confused. He didn't know what it was...
"What is this? I don't know what this is? That reminds me, where is here? Do you live here? Are you going to make me live with you? Oh yeah, can I lick you? Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease?"
He tucked the vial into one of the pockets in his pants, and jumped toward the man again, wagging that tail furiously.

"Dammit, NO!" Nigel quickly threw up a barrier to deflect the boy when he leaped at him, immediately activating the summoning circle so as to banish the boy away again now that he had the vial. Goddess ABOVE, he did not want to deal with this! He just wanted to go back to bed and to SLEEP until noon! Why did he get all the Goddess damned CRAZY ones!? Couldn't he get a normal, sane person to give a vial to for once?! Was that so much to ask for?! "I'm sending you HOME! You can figure out what it is by yourself!" Preferably, far, far away from him. ********, he hated animals, and people with animalistic tendencies were now chalked up next to them as well. "Not GET, you freak!"
