Welcome to the questing and character approval! This thread will give you all the information that you might need to create a perfect character and get them approved as fast as possible!

The very first thing that all of new villagers to the show will need to do is go ahead and create a quest thread for your character. This quest thread will work not only as a future quest, but also as a character approval thread. With the quest thread / character approval thread, it will help you develop your characters personality and get them ready to start role playing in the shop. There is a skeleton that you will need to fill out, located at the bottom of this thread.

Whenever you have finished filling out your profile, then you will need to go and get critique from fellow users or staff, and then you will need to get at least two stamps from the staff saying you have been approved. Afterwards, you will get an official journal created so that you can start role playing with us.

THE HEADING'S OF YOUR THREAD

These are the headers that you will need to use for your character's profile. This will be posed in the subject of the post for a new thread.

CW: Critiques Wanted
UC: Under Construction

Regarding Official Character Art
C: Official Character Art Obtained
Q: Quest Character

All together they look like this :

So remember to post those correctly so that they staff know whose profiles are ready for what stage.

HELPFUL INFORMATION

The setting of the roleplay:

The setting of the shop will be the small town of Sunny Haven. It's got a large town in the middle with rivers surrounding it. After all, it is known for having five rivers. There is a mountain that's to the north east of the city, and the sea to the south west.

There isn't any big city close by Sunny Haven, thus it's very difficult to talk to the outside world. Although you can bring your electronics such as to the small town, the signal is very bad except from the inn and clinic. So don't think that you're character will be on their computer in the middle of a ranch, unless you've gotten an upgrade to allow it!
It's about a twenty minute walk to either the mountain or the sea from the outskirts of the town.

BIRTHDAYS AND HOROSCOPES

For this shop, the birthdays will always be during Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter. There aren't normal months like a typical calendar, so take that into consideration please!

PROFILE DO's AND DON'Ts

DOs

Do consider strengths, flaws, fears, and weaknesses for your character so that they will be someone you shall be comfortable role playing. We want them to be well rounded and fun to interact with!
Do include detailed information in the character's history and individual trait descriptions that give explanations behind characteristics.
Do end up with a profile that enables your character to experience mistakes and lessons that their crafted personality should be expected to bring about to prompt further developments in their life.
Do make them human, not overpowered or invincible.

DONTs

Don't have parts that contradict one another in their personalities.
If it's something they do rarely, then make sure you have a good reason why it's a exception to the norm.
Don't have a set of strengths that overpowers a set of flaws or vice versa.
Don't make your profile super simple, a finished profile should have detailed information, history, and characteristics all make sense as a whole.

JOBS LOCATIONS AND HOW THEY WORK

With this shop, the jobs that you're character will be able to get will be very open and fun! Instead of having just a farmer type of job, there will be locations that you can work and you'll be able to customize your preference at that location to whatever you desire! Of course, there will be multiple people working there, and you can choose what type of job you want there. This is a list of all types of job locations that I can think of. All of them won't be included in the shop automatically, but they might be added slowly as the shop gets bigger.

Update: Also, whenever you apply for a character in a flatsale / event/ auction the job location will be given automatically. So then you'll be able to decide how you want them to work there. ex. clinic would have the choice of nurse/receptionist/doctor/researcher or something entirely different.
