Tala sighed, shaking her head, careful not to dislodge her long mane from it's propped position on her back. A human friend of hers had tied her tail into a loose loop to keep it from dragging the ground and she was very grateful for it, keeping the pale tan hair clean after traveling so much was becoming more and more of a hassle. Green gaze glanced up into the brilliant blue sky, sun shining brightly she squinted a bit and let her gaze follow a solitary bird as it spiraled downwards towards the object of her destination. A long time ago she'd found this solitary apple tree along the road and she'd promptly claimed it as her own personal haven. She'd grazed beneath it's shade many a day and enjoyed the succulent fruit from it's branches just as often; and, today was going to be one of those days.
The mare smiled softly and kept at her steady pace, each step bringing her closer and soon she could smell the fragrant apples the scent tickling at her senses and she gave a small sigh of contentment as she passed into the tree's shadow, the contrast in temperatures between shadow and light refreshing as she brought her head towards the earth to examine a fallen apple, nosing it around in the grass as she checked for any wormholes.

The night before a rain had come from the heavens above to wash away the waste from the earth. The sky had lit up beautiful streaking with the majestic purple, blue, and white hues. That however had driven creatures of the earth to seek shelter. In a small cavern the stallion had taken refuge from the rain till morning came. It came with brilliant blue skies lit up by the shining sun. The land had dried quiet quickly, looking sparkly, like new. Having been stranded the stallion had not partook in his afternoon meal; which left his tummy rumbling fervently. He had begun his journey southward, unsure where he was truly going. Every now and then he would enjoy a bit of grass along the way then begin again.
The sound off beats greeted ears that which perked up shifting and twitching. This alerted to the stallion, that he was no longer alone. He had been stretching upward to snag an apple at that exact moment, had just plucked it actually. He snapped it between his teeth with a crunch and shook his head. This shook out the messy crop of bangs, in different shades of blue, to fall over his face and allow him to see. A soft blue gaze came between the fallen pieces of hair. He glanced forward seeing no one as of yet. Was he dreaming? No, he was not. His short tail swished behind him impatiently as he looked around the tree. It had been at just the right angle to hide him, even though it was not a large tree. Stepping around heyes widened a bit in surprise. The other Azerin that had joined him was a mare; One of most lovely beauty at that. The stallion stood speechless as he watched her nose the apple on the ground.

Snuffling and snorting, Tala missed the telltale sign of the apples crunch that should have alerted her to the presence of the blue stallion, instead she continued on her quest for the perfect apple, deeming the first unworthy with a small dissatisfied snort and moving onto the second on the ground, rolling this one around with her nose as well in her method of examination. She could always, of course, try for the ones on the tree, but most were just beyond her grasp, without having to balance on her hind legs, and before she took "drastic measures" she'd thoroughly inspect each of the ones easily within reach first. Namely those on the ground.
Again she found the apple unsatisfactory, gaze moving to another and tail swishing back and forth gently as she moved over to it. Her concentration on the task at hand had thus far distracted her from noticing her guest, or perhaps she was his guest as he was here first, either way the mare made her way to her third target and promptly began the inspection of it as well, slowly making her way closer towards the tree, and as a result the stallion.

At first all Tsurara could do was stare at the mare. She was so lovely, she must be a vision. Perhaps he was still back in that dank, dark cave dreaming. Blinking he slowly shook his head out making the big of shaggy mane upon his head blue his vision a bit. It was rather annoying. With most of his mane cropped short the bangs were rather long. His tail was also nothing compared to the mares lovely soft white locks, that seemed to be looped just to keep it from dragging the ground it was so long.
He watched her in silence, swallowing, as she nosed the ground. It seemed she was finding nothing appealing about any of the fruit that scattered the ground. Suddenly he looking around spotting one he thought looked appetizing and lightly snapped it off the tree and held it between his teeth. He went back to his original spot, perhaps a bit closer to the mare, and dropped the apple on the ground right before the mare. He waited patiently, wondering if she would even notice or not.

Another unworthy fruit. Tala snorted a bit, shaking her head and taking another step forwards before her advancing towards the tree was halted by an apple falling in front of her that looked quiet appealing. That was convenient... the thought ran through her mind as she gave the apple a nudge before taking the tasty treat and picking it up, finally bringing her head up from it's grazing position she caught sight of first a pair of blue hued hooves, leading up speckled blue legs to an equally speckle faced stallion with icy blue streaked hair. A handsome one to be sure, in a bit of an exotic way she supposed, not that she herself wasn't an oddity with her glowing markings. She'd been quiet unaware, moving closer and closer towards the male and now that she was at eye level their noses were only inches apart and she stared for a moment, apple still in her mouth before shifting almost uncomfortably at the proximity and taking a few steps back.
With careful movements she set her prize back onto the ground, still observing silently, once that was safe she finally spoke. "Hello there." one would hear a quiet voice, nothing too spectacular about it, other than it sounded like one that seldom held conversations with others as well as a hint of shyness. She looked up into the branches of the apple tree above her and back down to her own apple, emerald gaze finally returning to the stallion. "Was the apple your doing? I seldom am lucky enough to have such a nice one fall before me."

Tsurara watched as she took the apple seeming pleased. Warmth and pride settled in his chest and he smirked a bit triumphantly. That was...until she lifted her head and was right before him. His icy blue gaze met her dazzling green one. The male could even feel the warmth that wavered out of her nostrils every breath she took.
He watched as she became hesitant and retreated from him. It allowed him to breath a bit more easily as well. He had a triumphant look about him again at her quest. "Hello Madam", he returned with a sort of head toss. He noticed she dropped the apple however and eyed her for a moment. "I did at that. I happen to be on the other side and noticed your displeasure at the ones on the ground...and I could reach so I thought I'd share the bounty with you so speak." He shifted uneasily, a bit antsy now.

The mare nodded, watching him quietly and nodding her head as he took credit for the apple and noting the expression on his face and in his eyes. She gave him another nod, looking back down at the apple and letting a brief smile settle on her face at the gesture, looking once again to the stallion. "A kind and courteous thought. Thank you very much, sir." she gave another nod of her head and bent to retrieve her apple from the ground, biting into it and savoring the crunchy sweetness that filled her mouth. Apples were a lovely treat, along with the lush grass of these areas it would prove to be quiet a tasty day. She chewed the rest of her food, swallowing it down and letting a small content sigh out. "Again, thank you, that was quiet the tasty apple." she paused for a moment as if debating about something before seeming to make up her mind, "My name is Tala, might I inquire yours?"

The stallion stood there, merely observing the mare. He was sure she would banish him off any moment and wish for solitude once more. He simply could not bring himself to move though, to take his eyes from her. It seemed as if she glowed even. More than once Tsurara seemed as if he was in a trance. At least the mare seem to enjoy the fruit that he had readily retrieved for her. "You are indeed welcome." Once again he felt revitalized and in the need of a brisk run, yet he did not move. Tsurara was a doer, not a thinker. He was a determined spirit who liked justice and things to be dealt with in a swift manner. Sometimes the stallion was a big impatient, something he could be quiet patient it depended upon his mood. His fiery spirit was simply passionate about things, it just depended upon those things! Tsurara had no recollection of his mother or father, nor of any other Azerin in reality. He had venture around, noticed some others but never really made any contact, stayed to himself, fended for himself. It seemed...until now. "What a lovely name, madam", he said being drawn back into focus of reality. "Oh, my name is Tsurara. The pleasure is all mine."

Tala nodded and flashed another small smile, though none of these seemed to meet her eyes, all of them being more polite than anything. Tsurara... it was a nice name, though if someone were to spell it for her she wouldn't have known how to pronounce it without help, she was betting. She shook her head, settling her obnoxiously long mane with a small sigh. She'd have to have that human boy who's pastures she frequented fix it up out of the way for her as well, she was getting tired of tripping over it all the time.
Tsurara.... what brings you around here then?" she inquired as she sighed and kneeled down, soon laying as ladylike as she could in the grass, hooves and legs tucked neatly underneath her and her hair sort of flowing around her as she settled.

The stallion smiled, but was quiet aware that the smiles she flashed him did not reach her eyes. The mare seemed rather lost in a way, or perhaps sad. He was unsure, but was sure that it was not his business. Mentally he pushed the thoughts aside as he watched her.
"Does your mane bother you so?", Tsurara questioned noticing, in this short time, her annoyance with her mane and tale. He shifted slightly as she proceeded to settled down the grass. She was quiet lovely and a sight. He hesitated wishing to run, it was his nature, but instead he settled down across from her. This did two things: Give her space, and made it as if he was not towering over her in a powering stance.
He answered her question after they got settled. Reaching out he plucked some grass up and munched before swallowing. "I was not far from here, merely roaming the lands...There was a bad storm in that area last night and I was forced into a cave. I just happened upon this place really...I hope have not disturbed your peace, madam."

A good idea, Tala followed the stallions actions, nibbling a bit of grass herself and giving a bit of a shrug. She hadn't meant to be so obvious about it but she was getting agitated. "I suppose..." though it was annoying, she was quiet proud of her long locks of hair, she'd never admit it though. "It does frequently get in the way, if I could pull it up myself I would. There is a ranch not too far from here where a human male lives, he usually does it for me." she nodded a bit and smiled at the thought, an actual smile this time, not one of her frequent polite ones. "That is where I stayed during the storm last night, have you been there? I'd imagine it would be far better than staying in a cave."

The smile that graced the mares lips was quiet lovely. It had a beauty of its own. He could not help inwardly smiling to himself. "Ahh, I see. That is quiet nice to the fellow...I suppose." He reflected for a moment glancing down at the grass. His head came up tilting at her next question. "No, no I have not been to any ranch, madam. I rarely venture near to any humans. I've no malice with the humans, but none do I call friend...or even acquaintance."
He shrugged a bit on his own. "I haven't had a reason to I suppose.

Tala nodded her head and shrugged her shoulders a bit. She could understand that, she wouldn't say she was against humans, she was neutral though, she did have the select few she was fond of. "It's a nice place, when it isn't crowded." she'd seen quiet a few Azerin their on many occasions, they were free to come and go. "I know what you mean, though. Aside from the human male and his sister I've no reason to interact with any of them." She sighed and looked up, it was pretty, little tufts of dust and pollen floated through the slates of sunlight that permeated through the branches. "The ranch is nice... however this is by far the most beautiful place I've found on Azreth. " she said a bit distracted as she watched the floating particles that made such pretty patterns in the light.

Tsurara was busy watching her as she seemed distracted. His voice kind of floating off as if he was in a trance. "Yes...yes it is...", he muttered but just loud enough to be heard. Then suddenly he realized what he had said and shook his head and let out a snort. "I mean, it is lovey land and a wonderful place to stop and enjoy a lovely day." Nodding he glanced back at her. Hopefully she had not noticed how he spoke or that he seemed a bit flustered all of a sudden. Quickly he reached down and snapped at ab it of grass and tugged it up from the ground, as his strong teeth began to chew it. Once he had finished that bit he looked back towards the mare. "I think it would take me the right kind of human to really interact with them. I prefer more the company of Azerin, but perhaps the humans are not at all bad. Some of them seem quiet...interesting and amusing...though", he gazed off in the distance, " I am aware there are those who are evil and seek war in the Kingdom. Foolish ones..." It made him nae a bit as if laughing or chuckling.
