Welcome to The River's Awakening, a Harvest moon shop that will allow
you to get a character who will join the lovely village of Sunny Haven.
With this thread, it will be a way to help you out on what you shall do
with your brand new character, where to make the quest, and the way
the role playing works here in the shop. This will be a brief layout on
everything, but I recommend you read everything in the sub forms listed
to make it easier on you!
You want to start questing for a character?
- Now don't you worry about that, this shop is very open and looks fondly on people questing for their own characters for the shop. It's very simple for you to get on the ball wagon, since all you have to do is go and create a quest in the questing thread! There will occasionally be times that we'll grant artwork to quests threw events, or you can get a spot easier for a custom with an approved quest. So take that into consideration!
So you have gotten a character from a shop event?
Congratulations on receiving your very own character! The first thing that all new villagers will need to do is go and create a quest thread for your character.questing thread is located here. With this thread, it will help you develop your characters personality and get them ready to start role playing in the shop. There is a skeleton that you will need to fill out, and then you'll need to get at least two stamps from the staff saying it's approved.
Whenever your character is approved, the staff will go ahead and create a journal for you. Journals located here The first post will be done by the mule, with your characters basic information and earnings located on it. This will be updated by the staff members only! The way that you'll increase your earnings is by role playing! Each role play will count for a certain amount of gold, depending on your characters stage and if they have item upgrades (ie. golden hoe or golden watering can for farmers), and you will need to post once a month your monthly role plays in this thread.. If you don't do that, you won't get any extra money. The gold you acquired can be used to buy items during festivals, pets from the ranches, or upgrades to your house or business so that you'll earn money faster!
Whenever your journal is fully set up, you can start role playing your character. This forum is solely for role playing. You can do either orp (open role plays), prp (private roleplays) or solo role plays. You are free to make how many forums that you want, BUT! Remember that only completed roleplays are allowed to count towards growth requirements and gold. So you need to finish your roleplays.
What else, every couple of months there will be festivals occurring in the shop. These will be for existing characters only, and they have their own separate forum for you to post in. With festivals you can earn more gold (who does't love gold), buy unique items or pets, make new friendships with you're fellow villagers and more! We highly encourage you to join in the festival fun!
