Hobbies:

Guns – Her father a hunter, Anella grew up with guns as a common household effect. A daddy’s girl, from an early age she had eagerly aimed to pursue her father’s interests and enlisted his help to teach her. As she grew, found more interest in the mechanics than the use. She quickly became an aficionado, rifling through magazines and collector’s books. She attends gun shows as often as they come by and has more than indulged in her private collection. She does not necessarily appreciate the art of hunting as much as her father, though aims to take hunting trips as an excuse to show of her guns. She is known to go out of her way to attend shooting competitions, and tries to make it to the paintball field at least once a week.

Cooking – Anella loves being in the kitchen—and not just because she loves food. Fond memories of working with her mother in the kitchen in addition to a need to eat are what drove her to this pastime. She loves the careful preparation of the meal, the painstaking effort put into the presentation, the satisfaction of a well cooked meal. If only she could get it right. Anella has, in her life, never successfully cooked a meal without some disgusting consequence. It doesn’t matter how hard she tries, the fact of the matter is that she’s lucky she hasn’t poisoned herself and anyone daring enough to sample her meals. Be it overcooking, getting ahead of herself, misjudging a 'pinch', taking shortcuts, or just not putting enough love into each and every meal, Anella has yet to produce a single meal she has been totally happy with. Still, she is persistent and unwilling to give up, so she’s made cooking a large part of her life, including going out of her way to learn. Cookbooks, cooking shows, and even culinary classes—there’s nothing she’s not willing to try.

Rugby – Anella likes a game that gives her full privilege to get down and dirty. She's always liked things a little rough, and the competitor in her loves to be put on the spot. She's dabbled in some sports, but they've only caught her eye if they were full contact, risks involved. She's ready to hurt and get hurt, and get that damn ball in the goal. An avid fan, she as inclined to play as she is to watch a game. While she herself plays Union, she is not hesitant to watch Rugby League games either. She might disagree with a few of the rules, but why let that make you miss a good game?

Virtues:

Passionate – Once Anella sets her eyes on something, she’s all in. Ruled by her emotions, it doesn’t matter if it’s a person or an interest, once it’s hooked her, she is completely enamored and willing to give it her all. She deeply invests herself in something in every way she can. She is eager to share what she loves with others and will go out of her way to do so. She puts her whole heart into something and is willing to spare no expense to pursue her passions.

Dependable – Anella doesn’t go back on her word. If she says she’s going to do something, it’s done. Anella doesn’t break promises, and while this does influence how many she’s willing to make, she’ll see it through to the end. If you need a friend, she’s there. If you need help, she’s there. Anella doesn’t flake out on people and, albeit being young and loving fun, she is reliable enough to stick to her word. Loyal to her friends, the concept of backstabbing and betrayal is foreign to her; she makes a commitment and sticks to it.

Independent – Anella has always strived to do things herself; she is a free-spirited individual and takes solace in the fact that she can take care of herself. Being self-sufficient and confident, Anella is able to make it through most situations by just relying on herself—be it through inner strength or willpower. She does not mind working by herself; she knows where her strengths lie and isn't afraid to take action.

Flaws:

Arrogant – Anella’s ego could fill up a room. She is exceptionally prideful and makes no effort to hide it. She is cocky and fails to see her faults though; she easily pins the blame on others whenever she can. She is convinced that she can do no wrong and thinks very highly over herself. Her confidence is overwhelming and she has been known to overestimate her skills on many an occassion.

Hot-headed – If you say the wrong thing to Anella or rub her the wrong way, she’s more than willing to throw a fit. She’d much rather go off on you than listen to your explanation, and due to her rash nature she’s often picked a fair share of fights. She doesn’t always think things through and is quick to anger and slow to cool off. While her attacks are usually limited to words, if you push her too far in this state, there is only a very slight chance she will resort to violence; she is far more likely to simply storm away. Apologies do little while she’s raging, and while she’ll go off for a while, she usually calms down. Anella very begrudgingly offers apologies, and while she is aware that she is sometimes a little too aggressive and quick to anger, she fails to count it as a fault of her own since someone had the audacity to provoke her and set her off in the first place.

Competitive – Everything is a competition with Anella. She likes the drive of a competition—and she likes to win. She can turn anything into a competition and tends to get aggressive when the going gets tough. She won't stab someone in the back or maul them at the first chance she gets, though there is little else she won’t do to win. She is willing to bend the rules to suit her (or break them all together) if it gets her ahead. She likes the pride of winning and the emotional satisfaction of being able to gloat about it. Anyone willing to feed into her competitive nature risks her wrath; she’ll push hard to win and is an incredibly sore loser.

First things first. Sorry for the wait. ^^;; And this is my first time critting so bear with me. *So nervous.*

CIVILIAN SIDE:

She looks pretty solid in my opinion and there is little that needs fixing.

Hobbies:

Her hobbies are interesting and unique which is good. I have couple concerns though....

I would like to know more of the background of her gun hobby. When did she held the gun first time? Did she play with other kids cops and robbers with toy guns when she was little?
Has there been any accidents regarding of her gun hobby (in example has she ever shot a bird without realizing it would die or has she broken something by shooting it)? If yes, what were the consencuences? If no, why not? Did her dad teach him proper ways to use the gun? I'm also a little concerned about how her hot-headed temper work with this hobby.

Her cooking hobby - well - it does seem to be a bit too unrealistic. To be honest, it makes me think the Lethal Chef trope. She can be bad at cooking without always causing terrible harm to her or her environment. She seems to practise a lot so it seems unlikely that she never had succeeded to get any meal right. I would change words always and never to often and rarely.
Also, could you give me an explanation of why her cooking attempts fail so often? Is she too forgetful, forgetting to add salt or leaving the food for too long time in the oven? Or is she impatient, not patient enough to mix the ingredients enough long or to wait the food to get enough heat?
I would like to know too what was her reason to start practising the art of cooking? Does she have an idol or something?

Her rudgy hobby looks good enough to me. In fact, it seems to fit very well to her personality.

Virtues:

Her virtues looks fine. I would love to see examples of how she acts in general daily life situations in each virtue description though.

Also, her Independent virtue reads almost to flaw to me. All these mentions of how she refuses to ask help, is convinced she doesn't need help and how she doesn't enjoy restricting attachments are giving negative vibe to the virtue and I don't think that is what you meant. You could i.e. tell that she is used to solve problems by herself and rarely asks for help unless it's an emercency. Sounds more positive, eh?

Flaws:

Again, I would love to see examples of general daily life situations in each flaw description which would help me to imagine how said flaw affects her behavior in practise. I just love examples, okay?

Could you also tell me where are her limits in hot-headed/competive flaw? When she goes too far? Does she get physical? Could she be potentially dangerous to others around her when having her raging burst?

POWERED SIDE:

No complains here! Her weapon and the power seems to be very Venus-like which I love. Good job!

However, her Independent virtue has still a bit negative tone in my opinion. I see where you're going for and I like this virtue. With a little work with wording, it could look better and more positive. 3nodding



You could mention of her wanting to do things in her own way before saying she doesn't easily ask for help or assistance from others. That change in itself could help a lot for that sentence to sound more positive. I also would change it to sound a little bit milder as words 'reluctant' and 'strains' sound kinda extreme to me. In example, you could say (you don't have to copy-paste this): 'While it is impossible for someone to go through life without needing help of some sort, Anella tries her way first and rarily asks for help.'



The bold ones kinda bother me a bit as well. To me, they seem to add unnecessary negative tone in the virtue. In fact, you could cut things from these two sentences above my text and mix them together. In example, you could say that she is a free spirit who believes that her own opinion of what makes herself happy is the only opinion what really matters and thus she is free to do whatever she wants as long it makes her happy. Or something like that. XD
