The arena went dark and multiple flashing white lights filled the stadium. The lights synced up with the bass line until the pace picked up and all the lights went on, an white pyro display going off on the stage. When it died down, Mike Landry appeared on the stage, sporting his new outfit of a white leather jacket with red trim, with matching long white tights he camera zoomed in to pick it up, and obviously Landry had that added for additional support tonight.
To the sound of a heartbeat pounding away
To the rhythm of the awful rusted machines
We toss and turn but don't sleep

Like causes without rebels
Just talk but promise nothing else
We crawl on our knees for you
Under a sky no longer blue

Because sometimes dreams just don't come true

"Introducing first...from Seattle, Washington, weighing in at 245 lbs...The Innovator, MIKE LANDRY!!"
Landry walked confidently down the ramp, slapping hands with the loyal fans along the ramp, though remaining completely focused. He thanks all of them sincerely for the continued support through this trying time, even after everything he has done. It meant the world to him that even now, in his darkest hour, with his career and his son on the line, his fans were still behind him.
He jumped up in a single vertical leap onto the apron, gesturing to some of his louder fans with a thumbs up before sliding between the ropes and stepping up onto the turnbuckle, signalling with his signature pose to the camera and, with a wink, he dismounts, eyeing the stage...awaiting the arrival of his now masked adversery.

" The Age of Malice has arrived..."  A voice echoed throughout the arena, as ' Raise Thy Sword' began to play. The arena darkened as a circle of dark flames engulfed the ramp. A throne like chair began to rise above the flames with a figure sitting on it. As the figure walked down the ramp, small flames engulfed the sides of the ramp as he walked as he hit the end of the ramp, the flames circled around the ring as he walked up the stairs he removed his cloak, hood and wrist gauntlets as he placed them beside the coffin at the ring. He felt the coffin top, patted it and entered the ring awaiting the bell.

Mike paid no mind to Malice's little light show. He could invest all the money he wanted in his entrance, to Landry, Malice was still a man in a cape. A man he knew he could beat, and that was all.

Landry left his corner, stepping up to the center of the ring to face this man once and for all.

Malice started at Landry with emotionless eyes almost as if he was seeing past Landry. He circled around Landry trying to psychologically outwit him before the match got to the fist flying and the body slamming. Malice had planned quite a lot of punishment for Landry tonight, he had already taken everything from him, his son, his house, his squeeze, his possessions, his car...
His career would be icing on the proverbial cake, but was that Malice's intent or could it be something far sinister? He knew what he said to Landry in their last meeting ate away at him. Whether he admitted it or not, Malice knew he got to Landry and that's all he needed.
Malice waited for Landry to strike, and then he'd make his move.

Malice seemed to be working the psyche out game, and it was Landry's intention to keep away from that and focus purely on wrestling. He would shoot and try a go-behind and secure a rear waist lock, and if he got that far hed try and hoist him up and plant him down on his chest in a good ol' fashioned wrestling takedown.

Landry wanted a purely wrestling match, there was nothing pure about this match because at the end of it, someone was getting stuffed in a casket and someone's career could be over.
-As Landry went for the waist lock, and enclosed his arms, Malice wrapped his leg around Landry's leg to prevent the takedown, and attempted to wrap his arm around the neck of Landry and go for a take down of his own.
Landry's game plan might've been to offset Malice's 'unique' wrestling style with pure, solid wrestling but Malice still knew the fundamentals of wrestling, plus watching a lot of footage helped.

Unfortunatley, that was the perfect move, and Landry was taken down by the side headlock takedown. Landry instinctively kicked his legs up and tried to wrap them around the head for the traditional escape from that particular maneuver, and if it worked, he'd try to hop back to his feet.

As Landry wrapped his legs around his head, Malice attempted to fall to the mat in an inverted slam type maneuver.
