Nickname(s)/Alias(es): Moko, Koto, Mo, etc
Race: Shinigami
Rank: Unseated, 09
Gender: Female
Age: Appears to be around 18 or 19 years old but her true age is somewhere in the early 100s.
Sexuality: Bisexual and isn’t shy about it
Theme Song: Poison - Nicole Scherzinger
Physical Description: What the picture doesn’t tell you is that Mokoto is 5’7’’ and weighs about 115 pounds. As the picture shows, Mokoto is beautifully slender and she has no problem showing it off. She has a unique rose birthmark on her right shoulder that has extremely sharp looking thorns. Her eye color is a softened emerald green rather than the orangeish coloring they are in the picture. She keeps her fingernails an inch or so longer than normal and has them shaped to resemble small claws, even going as far as to paint them a shade of brown. A unique feature to her, though one she doesn’t really show off but also doesn’t hide, is her elf like ears. They come to a soft point at the tips and add to her mischievous charm. Around her neck Mokoto wears a homemade necklace. The necklace is made out of a leather strap and tied to it is a smooth stone that has been carved in such a way that it looks like a curled up fox.
Personality: Easiest way to put it is Mokoto is very comfortable in her own skin. Being bisexual the young female flirts on just about anyone openly just because she can. Just like her spirit Mokoto is very mischievous and manipulative to a fault. She doesn’t make friends very easily as she mainly sees others as play things unless they catch her eye. Mokoto has serious trust issues and so often pretends to like someone if and when she needs or has to. Another fault of Mokotos is that she will do just about anything for her own gain, even going as far as backstabbing her allies. Now with all that said Mokoto isn’t a bad girl, she just isn’t good either.
Zanpakutou:
Zanpakutou Spirit: Dokusei is Mokotos much wiser zanpakuto spirit. Though a fox he may be Dokusei is far from the stereotypical manipulator. He is as wise as the owl with fur as red as the flame and eyes as deep as the sea. This old fox has lived through many wars and has journeyed across the land learning new, fascinating things. He is the much calmer side of Mokoto and is often butting heads with her on many things that she decides to do or try.
Inner World: Dokusei makes his home in a luscious forest next to a snowy mountain side. Mokoto prefers to be and play in the forest but knows that if she wishes to find Dokusei she must search around the snowy mountains or at a special hill that overlooks a magnificent view of a forest clearing with a glistening lake.
Sealed Form: Mokotos zanpakuto is of average length, width and weight. The hilt is a vibrant red, imitating Dokuseis fur coloring but with a unique twist, spiraling around the hilt from the guard to the end is a metallic forest green poison ivy vine. The guard has a fox head carved into the center of it and the blade has a paw print just a few inches below the guard and at the tip of the blade is the fox kanji symbol.
(Not obtained yet) Shikai Name/Release Phrase: Bare your fangs Dokusei!
Shikai Description: As soon as Mokoto finishes her release phrase her zanpakuto flashes a brilliant light, that can cause temporary blindness to any that are in the vicinity and are looking towards it (other than herself.) While the weapon flashes, the katana changes into a black leather whip. Inside the whip is a small but thick zanpakuto metal strip that helps keep the whip strong and less likely to break. The whip has a poison ivy vine décor around it that has extremely sharp thorns on the whip. These thorns have poison tips and poison is pumped to the tips from the handle that Mokoto holds. By simply feeding her reiatsu into the handle, poison is pumped into the thorn tips on the whip. Mokoto keeps her whip coiled up at her side when not in use. The poison itself is acidic and can eat through almost anything if left on the substance long enough. Fabrics or ropes are eaten through relatively quickly where as metals and skin take a little longer (3-5 posts) to completely eat away. The poison can be washed off with water. The poison itself has a burning effect on whatever it eats.
Shikai Powers: Mokoto gains poison manipulation in which she can control the poison that drips from her whip. She can turn the poison into any size walls (the bigger the wall the easier it is to shatter. The biggest the wall can become is eight feet high and ten feet long), small daggers, or simply keeping it in a liquid state on the ground acting like a tar pit. The poison is soluble in, or weak against, water.
Note: Shikai is relatively weak seeing as the poison has no properties other than the acidic bite.
(Not obtained yet) Bankai Name: Join the hunt Dokusei!
Bankai Description: The whip flashes like it did in shikai and once the flash is done the whip has changed it’s form slightly. The whip has grown in size from the normal thin leather whip to a thicker whip that the body looks like a long black snake with the poison thorns all over it (like in shikai) At the end of this snake like whip, where the snake head would be, is a Venus fly trap head. This head can open and close just like a regular Venus flytrap but instead of the feelers inside its mouth; it has razor sharp zanpakuto metal teeth. The whip acts like it is alive with movements like a snake.
Bankai Powers: Mokoto keeps everything from shikai but what is added is the Venus fly trap head. The head can spit out a venomous toxin that matches the same color of the poison that she manipulates. This venom is acidic and also coats the Venus fly traps teeth. So if the teeth bite into anything it would be like being bitten by a very venomous snake. If the opponent is bitten they must treat the bite as if an actual snake delivered it. That means stop the course of the venom and etc. Another way to help, if it is on the skin, is by using water. Just like in shikai, water is the dominant weakness to the poison/venom. The poison/venom can paralyze the foe. Wherever the head bites the opponent that limb could become immobile if the course of the poison/venom isn't stopped. (the course typically takes five posts to fully take over a leg, three for an arm, and about two for a hand or foot)
Special Accessories: Her necklace described above is extremely special to her. It is a necklace given to her by her mother on her thirteenth birthday. It was the last gift her mother gave her as shortly after her birthday her mother fell deathly ill and two months and three weeks later died from it.
Skills/Abilities: Mokoto is extremely agile and flexible due to being a gymnast ever since she was a tiny child. She is able to climb up trees or walls when others would think it was impossible. She can do flips, splits, pretty much anything she wants to do (except fly xP) She mainly uses her talent to execute small tricks on her fellow squad members but they also come in hand when in a fight or trying to catch the eye of someone she thinks is cute.

Biography/History: Mokoto grew up on a prosperous farm close to the city where she went to school. She had a loving mom and a hardworking dad. She grew up as an only child with the farm animals to keep her company on the weekends before she went back to school to see her friends. All her life Mokoto has purposely made herself be the odd duck in the school, never really fitting into any kind of class or stereotype. She was as pretty as a prom queen but as strong as a jock without the muscle to prove it. She was also very smart and loved to read books when she could but that didn’t mean she didn’t go out to parties every now and then. Despite all her partying and school activities though, Mokoto lived a very sheltered life, one that she enjoyed testing the waters of. She asailed in classes and soared in the social networks of her highschool but still she remained alone, more at home by herself than with any true human being.
This aspect of Mokoto kept her truly mysterious. It seemed no matter how hard the other kids in school tried none could ever break past Mokotos walls and barriers to get to know her. Many of the students would say that Mokotos glossy eyes are the only sign Mokoto gives that shows the very barrier that shielded Mokoto from harm. Mokoto however, saw her barrier as more of a glass wall that she could see out of but others couldn’t see in. It was her window to see who was worth the time to let them get to know her and who was just another toy. With this mindset, Mokotos friends were never really friends to her but merely toys that would entertain her. All her life Mokoto happily enjoyed this outlook and never truly got hurt by others. It wasn’t until her senior year of highschool that Mokoto branched out a little to begin playing a new game. Dating. At first she chose the typical route of dating males, but after a few dates that seemed to take the same course though with different guys, Mokoto grew bored of them and decided to test the idea of dating females. It was then that Mokoto realized just what kind of fun she could have with both genders.
Sadly though, not all fun is considered fun to all parties. Some people did get hurt by Mokotos playing and so began Mokotos enemy list. Graduating highschool was easy for Mokoto and she began her life, working on the farm along side her father. Unknown to her though, her exes that she had tremendously hurt were meeting together to give Mokoto the same pain she delivered to them. However, as we all know, some plans can go horribly wrong and fast. Though the students merely planned to harm Mokoto emotionally, pride and anger rose inside them and the students began to plan even more. They finally agreed on their terrible task and disbanded for a few weeks. In this time frame Mokoto continued her easygoing life of walking from the market to her families farm and back. Selling their products and buying a few things as well. On one of her trips returning home from the market, Mokoto was grabbed and taken away. Little did she know this would be the last time she saw her life the same way. The students kidnapped Mokoto and drove her clear across town, hiding in an abandoned factory that had been scheduled to be destroyed in a few months to come. It was here that Mokoto was tied up and brutally tortured.
She was given broken ribs, arm, leg, and collarbone and was left alive during it all. Added on to the physical pain she had the students knew of only one way to torture the girl emotionally and that was to slaughter farm life infront of her as she watched helplessly. Mokoto watched with blurred, teary vision as they rung the necks of chickens, shot and killed cows, as well as pigs. To Mokoto they were perfectly healthy creatures but the students knew the animals were to be killed off in order to go to stores. As Mokoto begged for them to stop one of the exes turned to look at the beaten mess that was named Mokoto and sneered. Pointing a gun at her the sound of a bullet ended Mokotos suffering.
When Mokoto opened her eyes She blinked, not believing what she was seeing. There still tied up but lifeless, was herself. Blood dripped from the bullet wound that took life, a puddle forming just under her. It didn’t take long for Mokoto to realize what she was. Looking around, Mokoto walked out of the factory and began to wander the streets, knowing no one alive could see her. Being a ghost was a very lonely life with very little excitement. It wasn’t but two weeks after her death that Mokoto stumbled upon a fox pup that was laying by the lifeless body of its mother. The poor thing looked to have been run over. Not wanting the pup to die as well Mokoto took the creature in and raised it as a pet. An objective that wasn’t easy. Thanks to the keen senses that the fox had the pup was able to see Mokoto easily, but it frightened him.
Gaining the foxes trust was no simple matter and took about five to six days of feeding it meat from the butcher and giving it fresh water from the brook. Soon the two became friends, the fox keeping Mokoto company and Mokoto keeping the animal healthy. Mokoto got to enjoy watching the fox grow into a handsome adult with radiant red fur. But it was also a sad thing for her because she knew that with the way his fur shined, he would be a prize on any hunters wall. Thus she hid away in the only place she knew, the factory. She knew the fox would hide and stay with her and there she knew he’d be safe. Unfortuneatly, Mokotos luck went bad as the machines came to tear the building down. Her and her fox friend were forced into the thicker forest like area behind the factory as she watched her grave come crashing down. It was during that time that her body was found and her parents learned what had become of their only daughter.
Mokoto attended her own funeral service, weeping at the sight of her parents as they buried her. Leaving the scene with a heavy heart Mokoto returned to the forest to await her fox friend. Lately he had been spending more and more time alone rather than with Mokoto. Course Mokoto thought he had probably found himself a vixen and was moving on. A happy thought in Mokotos mind. It wasn’t until the last day of that week that Mokoto found out the truth of her little friend. It turned out the young fox had found his way into the storage locker for the butcher, a place full of fresh meat. The butcher knew something was stealing meat from him and so had poisoned one of the meats and laid it out in plain view for the hungry scavenger. Thus was the fate of Mokotos little friend.
Mokoto wandered the streets, tears constantly flowing from her eyes. The looks on her mother and father when they found out about her death placed the dagger in her heart. Finding the body of her fox only drove it deeper. Just as she was beginning to think things couldn’t get worse, a large black monster tore a hole through the sky and entered into her world. She screamed, terrified for her afterlife and was shocked to see the people around her not taking any notice to the creature in the town. Sensing the danger she was in Mokoto ran as fast as she could in the opposite direction. She had to get away from the odd monster that was easily keeping up with her. When bad turned to worse Mokoto faced the monster shaking and sweating a cold sweat, fearing this was truly the end for her. Just as the monster was about to attack her, Mokoto watched as a person in all black used a sword to cut the white face of the monster and to her disbelief, the monster dissipated. She fell to her knees as the person spun around to face her. With a kind smile the person assured her that she would be ok and was destined for a better path. With a hopeful smile Mokoto closed her eyes and became that of a beautifully black butterfly.
She flew off into what was known as the Soul Society. There she attended the Academy where she gained her own sword, which she learned was called a zanpakuto. She also took many classes in which she learned that the monster that attacked her was known as a hollow and it was going to be her job to face and destroy them just as the person that helped her before did. She also learned that the person who helped her was a shinigami. The same thing she was now. The many classes at the Academy fascinated and intrigued her. It was no surprise that she was able to pass each course. Finally the day came that she graduated and was placed into a squad. Now Mokoto was a very happy and proud member of squad 09.
