He'd called Quinn earlier and asked her to meet him at the same cafe he'd invited her to last time, promising all the cheesecake and drink she wanted on him. He knew he'd win her her with that, but if not that then the offering of a Christmas gift would surely get her to agree.
The fact was he had a gift for her and he couldn't put it under his and Lily's tree or his parents, or Lily's parents, tree so he had to hand it to Quinn in person. He didn't know what her holiday plans her, but he hoped she had some plans and someone to spend the holidays with. He didn't want to ask her, just in case she had plans or in case she didn't want to impose and then felt bad as she had no plans.
Leaning back in the chair he sat at, waiting for the senshi of the dark mirror court, a sigh passed his lips. His hair neatly swept back and held in place with the black ribbon he'd taken a fancy to. His coat hung off the back of his chair, and was swept up onto the seat he sat on so it didn't trail across the floor. A nice gray cashmere turtle neck was worn and hanging over the back of his chair was a matching check pattern scarf.
Already he'd ordered for himself and was sipping the hot drink, this time it was hot chocolate with a bit of mint syrup added as opposed to his usual espresso order. She should be here soon, unless something came up. "I hope she likes what I got her...." He still was figuring her out and so was guessing a bit with what he'd gotten for her.

If there was one way to get Quinn to come out in the winter (because let's face it, no one wants to go outside when it's freezing cold), was to lure her with cheesecake. Especially free cheesecake. So tonight she was bundled up in a thick winter jacket with a black and white striped scarf wrapped around her neck and lower face in attempt to keep warm.
Luckily for Alexandre, Quinn wouldn't be mentioning her Christmas plans, or lack there-of to him. Realistically, she had no plans. Obviously there would be no family involved in her holidays this year, which made her depressed to think about. So her plan was to just not bring it up and if no one asked then all the better for her. The closest thing she'd be doing to a family get-together was dinner with her Court a few days before Christmas. Beyond that, she was spending it alone as she was sure that Lydia would be with Grant.
She eventually showed up at the cafe, only a few minutes later than they had agreed to meet at. She quickly scanned the area and when she spotted him she immediately bee-lined to his direction. With a big smile on her face and a small wrapped gift in hand, she dropped down into the seat across from him.
"Hey Alex! Merry Christmas," she said happily. She wouldn't let the idea of being alone this holiday bring her down.

Sitting up straight, startled by her appearance, he smiled brightly and pushed the menu he'd saved from the waitress. "Anything you'd like, on me." He said with a smile in place.
"I'm sorry I asked your out in the cold, but I wanted to give you something before Christmas. I also did want to see how your doing, I've met two of your fellow court members. Both pleasant to talk to, especially a rather tall blond male - muscular as well." He couldn't remember the name, off the top of his head, he did remember it was something he'd had a time with pronouncing. "But this isn't a meeting about business, though I will say I'd love to train with you and them. One mentioned not knowing her power, or ever using them." He said after thinking if he should say them. But Quinn needed to know where one stood, at least when he'd spoken to them.
"Of course that was around Thanksgiving, when I found myself...a feline." Waving a hand about as he spoke. His own drink was picked up and gently sipped from, the mint cooling his throat and almost causing him to shiver in pleasure.
"Now, I do hope you like what I got you, I just don't know you as well as I'd like to when looking for gifts." He'd settled for a charm bracelet. He'd gotten the bracelet and two charms, one of which was a star. He'd thought it nice, and something she could add to. Casual or classy depending on how she wore it or what she added or subtracted from it. Leaning down, into a coat pocket, he withdrew the wrapped box and sitting up he set it on the table between them. "I went with something a bit cliche, but with the idea in mind that you can change it as you see fit." He really did hope she liked it, he'd gone a bit all out on gifts for the few new people in his life he held close; a surprise for his parents to say the least.

"Don't be silly, I'm happy to be here!" She smiled, took the menu and eagerly looked through it. "I got you something too," she said while reading over the menu, "It's nothing big though. I suck at presents," she added with a laugh.
Slowly warming up now that she was inside, she unbuttoned her jacket and draped it over the back of her chair. When she untied her scarf she left it on her neck, but simply draped over her shoulder rather than wrapped around. Brushing back a few strands of hair, she placed her order when the waitress came back around. Tea and cheesecake- she was awfully easy to please.
"Tall blonde must be Remarque... Jett is his real name," she made sure that the waitress was out of earshot when she dropped the boy's Senshi name. Her eyebrows furrowed for a moment while she thought about who the second person could've been, unaware of their powers. "Maybe Thule? I know she mentioned being out of town for a while." She shrugged slightly, figuring that if the girl needed any help that she would come to her.
"Oh hey, I was turned into a cat too!" She had no issues with speaking loudly about that, however. She figured enough civilians were turned into cats for that week that it wouldn't be a big deal if she spoke openly about that ridiculous turn of events.
"That was bizarre," she said while handing Alex the small wrapped package. Inside he would find a scarf, which she figured would be a good idea when she went shopping with Lydia and Raven and they mentioned buying scarves for men in their lives. Hell if she knew if that was a good idea- but it was cold outside, so you can't go wrong with a scarf! "I'm sure I'll love whatever you got me," she said, genuinely happy. She actually didn't expect him (or anyone else for that matter) to have gotten her anything.

"I'm glad your happy to be here, I'd be upset if you weren't." Not to mention he might feel a touch guilty for inviting her here.
"Ahh, I see. He was quite pleasant to meet. Showed him how we gather energy." By we he of course meant the Negaverse. "I rather enjoyed his company, though I feel sorry for him with the short sleeves he had; it was a dreadfully cold night. To be honest I feel sorry for anyone with a skin showing due to their uniform." And he did, at least those on their side.
"She mentioned being the senshi of moths, if that helps any. Let me spend some time in her lap after I got away from a rather...cranky old lady." He stated before staring at his friend. "Good to know you were a cat also, not to say it was good but it is good to have a friend who was in the same position.
"It was, Dahlia mentioned it was something the white moon cats were working on. Whatever it was went wrong, obviously. I met a civilian who was affected, I wound up helping her to steal a meal - she had no one to go to for help." He said, explaining why he'd assisted in a theft. "I hope you were able to stay with someone during the time you were a cat." If he'd been human and known he'd have taken her in, had she no where else to go.
The gift was eyed for a moment before he took it and gently opened it. "I hope you do, and I'm sure I'll like whatever you got me as well." Scarves were very nice. It could be said he was a comfort freak, though everything comfortable he wore was high end. He liked his scarves, turtlenecks, sweaters, and other such warm items of clothing. So when he saw what lay inside he was all smiles. It was perfect, he had a growing collection of scarves and this was the second one he'd gotten for the holidays. "Thank you!" His voice wasn't too loud, he didn't want to attract attention, but he was happy with the gift. "This'll come in handy with this weather." And would look good with a lot of his clothing.
