It required more work on a present that he had ever invested, and he was rather annoyed that there were loose strings and too much relying on other factors. For once, the present he had selected, through selected on the advice on two little girls about her age, might not have been up to the high bar he wanted to set. Still, cradled in his arms, sat the present, perfectly wrapped at the store with winter white rabbits in snow, wearing cozy scarfs, and topped off with a pink bow as his wishes. Details mattered. The other part that bothered him was that he had to send a message on what he deemed an unrealizable animal, a cat of all things, and had to only hope the creature's attention span wouldn't be sidetracked by a passing bag in the wind or that it's memory lasted more than a few minutes. Lastly, he had to hope that when said message was received, she wouldn't over-analyze it or that her conspiring associates would work against the visit by either keeping her away or escorting her. This was not a time for others. It was a time for them. A royal get-together between family.
In the end, it came to hope, and a Christmas miracle that the impression he left her with was strong enough to make her curious to come.
A light snowfall began as he stood in one of the quiet courtyards. Christmas lights had been strung up to the peak of a snow-topped gazebo and festive wreathes hung on it's sides. Little flags wishing a Merry Christmas didn't so much as flutter, and the stillness was only interrupted by the crunch of snow under his boots as he walked up the path into the gazebo where it was dry. Standing, he waited, and dusted the snow off his cape.

Cold, cold, it was disgustingly cold, and she didn't have the luxury of a beautiful woolen uniform in sharp-looking black and silver, as well as a glorious cape, to keep her warm. Small Lady, more commonly known in this time and place as Eternal Sailor Chibimoon, moved through the still winter night with apprehension in her heart. All of the guardian cats knew where to find what Sailor Ares had disdainfully termed the 'Serenity Remnant' at any time of the day or night, mostly because she was almost always home or at school. Or the Tower, not far at all from their headquarters, but they had a harder time bothering her towards the top of the thing. Poor Derpraline had tried one time and had nearly fallen to her fluffy doom.
Poor thing.
Arms curled around her small body, standing barely over five feet in height as she stepped carefully through the snow, hoping it wouldn't slide into her shoes. There were so many perks of being a magical princess from outer space but one of them never seemed to be a practical uniform or the ability to keep snow out of your really cute heels. Usagi at least had boots most of the time. How Rei-chan and Minako-chan had ever managed at D Point in their shoes...well. Mysteries abounded about all of that which had never been fully answered.
Spotting the dark man in the gazebo her heart pounded faster and faster with each step she took. He felt so right, he looked so right, and he knew her. She would have never considered that the man calling himself Endymion was not what he claimed to be -- her father. "Papa?" It was a soft query, carrying easily on the still winter air.

He felt her before she arrived, and waited in the snow, soft white dusting the shoulders of his cape as he stepped down the steps to meet her. He was eager, too eager, and he hoped that what little showed would help him play the part even more. She was his everything - but not in the way she thought. She was delicate, as was everything else, but she held the key to it all. He cared little for all the other players in this great grand scope. The players, the royals, the ones that mattered, were here.
Only she could understand.
Yet Endymion was the one left confused as the young woman, covering her arms and shivering, moved through the snow, a petal pink rose frosted with white, calling to him. "Little.....little rabbit?" He asked, shocked as he looked at her up and down. She was a woman. It had been a while, granted a few months since he last held her in his hands, but this.
This was something too strange. This was....
Magic.
He reminded himself of that, and swallowed down his disbelief. Typical of senshi, this. Still, it put a damper on things and put another element he did not need in this game. A child was one thing to convince. A teenager wasn't.
Still, he played the part, finding it hard despite looking at her to see her as anything but the tiny girl, but now working to try and attach 'young lady' in there as well.
Adjusting the clips to his cloak, he took it off and draped it around her shoulders as she came. "You have grown, but big or small, you are still vulnerable to the cold." He leaned over to kiss her forehead. "Come under the gazebo and away from the snow." He said softly, knowing no one would hear them. Leading her up into the dry gazebo, he took off hsi gloves before taking her hands to rub them. "I would have picked someplace warmer, but I did not know anywhere we could go and be alone. You are freezing." He blew on her hands before placing his gloves in them.
His expression went from worried concern to a relieved smile. "I'm glad you came. I missed you."
