Who here grows their own, attempts to or knows a little bit about it?
Share experiences/advice in this thread
Me, personally, I've been attempting to grow lately. I'm doing 16/12 light cycles, and I've had something like 4 seedlings on me die so far. My best one died from too much heat, and my latest and greatest has just sprouted 2 leaves and is in a margarine tub as we speak, because my friend suggested that the plants might die from their roots growing too long too fast (my usual plant pots are somewhat long vertically speaking, and not very wide) so I'm putting it to the test.
Will take any advice available on getting a plant into the vegetative phase. Hope this thread becomes alive and whatnot =3

sprout em before you stick em in the dirt then dig yourself a five gallon hole (check with a five gallon bucket) then fill it back in with the loose dirt so that your roots have plenty of room to stretch. then when it sprouts buds look at the crystals with a magnifying glass, if theyre cloudy the plant isnt ready, you gotta wait for em to get clear. (so says my dad who sold his home grown to lynard skynard. true story.)
