Where was that fool? Trish snarled angry at herself for letting Ico out of her sight. She had laid down and slept for five minutes tops! He had crept off and was now doing who knows what. That absolute moron was so foolish if someone had told him to jump off a cliff to get a free meal he might just consider it! Whacking a rock Trish sent it bouncing over the ground of her and Ico’s shared den. They’d been close since they were kits practically being raised as brother and sister. He was always sleeping or pretending to be asleep and she was always looking out for him and keeping that idiot out of trouble. Padding out of the den she leaned down and sniffed to see if she couldn’t track blue boy down. Her nose wrinkled and she jerked up quickly in disgust. The smell of spicy peppers was overwhelming. Ico had found some of those a few days ago, but why he’d pick just outside the den to eat and drip the juices all over was beyond Trisha. Shaking her head she headed away from the den and smell she hated. She swore Ico did such things just to annoy her. Maybe he had done it on purpose? No he wasn’t that conniving was he? Well fine then. She didn’t want to keep looking out for him anyway. She knew she couldn’t track him since the they both had tracks going all over the place and if Ico didn’t want to be found he wouldn’t be.
She tossed her long mane behind her so that she could travel without it dragging on the ground. It of course fell back into place right away. Figured.
(Yes Ico is that smart and yes that is what he did to get some time away from Trish so he could sneak of and see a friend.)

Yokai needed a break, from his family, from his tribe. All of it. But mostly from his brothers. They were smothering the crap out of him, and he hated it more then he could explain. Growling lowly under his breath he shook his fur after climbing out of the river. He had been swimming down it for hours so that his family couldn't rack his scent. Oh yeah, he was clever that way. Grinning he shook until he was somewhat dry, then looked around his surroundings. Alright, now what the hell was he supposed to do.
Frowning at for not thinking that far ahead, he took to just walking through the forest absently. He kept his ears on alert in case by some miracle his family managed to find him.

Cursing Trish headed to the river to clean up a bit. Stupid was long gone and she knew she wouldn’t be able to find him unless he decided to meander back to the den for food or sleep or whatever. She sneezed again, still smelling peppers. She rubbed her nose with a paw and then kept going. The river wasn’t too far away so it was a short trot for Trish. She didn’t slacken her pace and she didn’t notice that the birds weren’t making any noises. Instead she was listed every dirty explicative she could think of to describe Ico. The blue streak she was swear was just starting to repeat itself when reached the river’s edge. She huffed and sat down promptly annoyed at everything.

Slowly he stopped walking as he spotted the vixen that walked past him without regard for his presence at all. He was pissed. No. Beyond pissed that she didn't even bother to look in his direction. Oh hell no. He wasn't going to let her get away with treating him like that. He was going to make her notice him whether she wanted too or not.
"Hey....blondie..." He grated his claws into the ground as he glared daggers at the back of her head, "You got problems with manners or something? Or are you just plain dumb?"

Turning her head slightly Trish raised a paw and pushed her hair out of the way so she could see a strange looking cream colored fuzzball his hair was sticking up like he had just been air dried. What he just called her? She had still been muttering swear words and hadn’t been paying much attention. Still she had caught the rest of his words and his tone let her know just how annoying this male was going to be.
Her tone was calm and she dropped her hair back down so it obscured him from her sight even if her head was still turned toward him. “Oh no my manners are just fine. Your just not worth knowing. Even if you are one of that idiots little friends, which I doubt based on your tone.”

Yokai glared at the vixen, "What the hell does that mean?" He ground his claws into the ground harder. HE wasn't worth knowing? No one had ever spoken to him in such a disrespectful way before and he had to admit that it bothered him. More then when his brother discarded him.
"On the contrary I think you have the worst manners of anyone that I know. And just who the hell are you talking about?" Yokai regarded her with a blank look, "I do not know these little friends of yours, but if they are anything like you then I would care not to ever meet them."

“It means I’d really rather not waste my time talking to some strange hostile male that doesn’t even bother trying to be polite to a female who is clearly in distress.” The words after polite were let out one by one in a hissing breath. This male was so annoying she was trying to calm down from having to deal with that that… oh she didn’t even know what to think about that stupid Ico.
“It’s not friendS it’s friend, just one, and he’s a moron. Honestly why he just up and poofed like he did.. stupid.” She wrapped her tail about herself and thought about things. She shifted her weight and starred at the river.

"Maybe I would have been polite to you if you had been polite to me first." He sneered at her, "And you don't look like you are in distress to me." He scoffed as he looked her over. Rolling his eyes he figured he could just walk away now and forget about this chick. Really, who the hell did she think she was. Talking to him the way she did.
"Well I ain't surprised this guy poofed. Why the hell would he want to hang around a stuck up b***h like you?" Yokai regarded the vixen cruelly. She had gotten him into a fouler mood then usual.

“Polite, to you who just stared yelling at me for no reason at all? I hadn’t even noticed you were there. No reason to just get in a huff Mr. Scribble Ribbon.” Trish chuckled to herself as if the very thought were too ludicrous to comprehend. She listened to the rest of his ranting without interrupting of any kind. “Distress is handled in a number of different ways you loudmouth cretin.” She stood up. There were many things that Trisha could tolerate but to be called a profane name by someone who’s existence she didn’t know much less care for went beyond the pale! She started walking downstream away from the male. Her tail flipping back and forth as walked annoyed.

Yokai watched her walk off, and was surprisingly annoyed by it. He knew that he should leave it alone, let her walk off. But for some reason he just couldn't. Something about the vixen made him want to follow her, possibly push her buttons even more.
"Scribble Ribbon?" He gaped after her astonished, "What the hell is that supposed to mean?" He walked after her, grumbling under his breath. "You don't hear me calling you Miss Swirly...." Yokai sneered as he stomped over to her. "And I was not yelling at you...I was....speaking in a raised tone."

When the irritating male caught up with her Trish picked up her pace a bit to get away from him. “Yes scribble ribbon. Your coat looks like a kit made it and you wear a girls ribbon! What else am I supposed to call you?” She did manage to catch what he was saying under his breath and she glared at him for a moment. “Swirls happen to be v-e-r-y elegant, though a lout like you wouldn’t know anything about it.” She snorted. “Raised tone, right, if it were any more raised your voice would go out.”

Yokai glared at the vixen, "My father gave this to me...It is a tradition in his family for children to wear this bow." He growled. He would not have his father's tradition be mocked by this...this...mouthy, rude, bitchy vixen. "Tch." He snorted.
"Who told you that swirls were elegant? Because they lied to you." He smiled and rolled his eyes, "They are so common it's pathetic. You might has well have a stamp on your forehead that says looks like everyone else. At least my coat is more unique."

“So your family is naturally effeminate. Good for the lot of you. Such a pity you were never taught to have common sense or even simple decency.” All the same?! What was he blind? Everyone knew that each set of swirls done could be different and unique. So far Trish had never seen another fox with markings anything like her own. “Oh yes. I’m certain that there are a million vixen out there that look exactly like me who have the same fur and the same color markings. Tell me can you name twenty that look exactly as I do?” She said all of it very sweet and completely sarcastic. “No? Well then how about ten? Five? Even if you did I doubt any vixen would be fool enough to hang around you long enough to have you even learn her name.”

"Pfft." Yokai looked the vixen over, then rolled his eyes, "I have seen a dozen girls that look just like you...Only they didn't have such a sour look on their face. They were actually kinda pretty. Unlike you." He spared another glance at the vixen absently. "Yeah....honestly. You aren't that much to look at chick. So I don't know why you are acting all high and mighty, like you're actually important." he scoffed, "Cause I sure as hell don't see it."

“I still don’t hear any names of my supposed clones Scribble Ribbon boy.” Trish tossed her hair back disliking the male more and more. “I am not high and mighty. I’m annoyed having to deal with stupid male after stupid male.” She looked at him feeling her ire eat at her belly. “Well if I’m so ugly why is it you keep looking at me so often?” Stopping dead she turned around quickly and started to head back the way she had come from. Perhaps the male would take the hint finally that she really was looking forward to more conversation with him.
