Christmas gifts for family and the few friends he was close to, Lily was not a friend she was family, were already bought and wrapped laying in his closet waiting to be set under various trees. Some would go under the tree at his parents and some would find their home under the tree at Lily's parents home. A few would reside under his and Lily's tree as well. The secret santa gift had been bought, and delivered at the celebration which had turned out...more entertaining than he'd thought it would be. Today was a day to spend walking the mall and shopping in a casual manner, no present would be bought just normal things he needed or wanted.
The noisy children getting pictures with santa were glanced out, a side long glance, as he made his way down the mall's length. His intent was to get up to the second floor to check out some of the shops up on that floor which he liked. His gloves were off, tucked into the inner pocket of the long black pea coat he wore. Said coat was unbuttoned so the silver colored cable knit sweater he wore was on display, as was the white and gray check patterned Burberry scarf which draped about his neck. His cheeks were finally cooling down as he made it to the elevator and stepped into the glass enclosure. He was hoping to look at some of those all natural bathing and facial products before heading for the candle shop, and maybe down a bit and eye up a few other shops. He wasn't sure what he'd be buying, though he knew he'd be returning home with several bags.
Ash hair was tied back with a black ribbon, one of the ones from Dahlia from the secret santa, his bangs fell about his face gently and framed his slate colored eyes. He knew he looked feminine, never once did he think he might look like a female. Slowly, as he warmed up further, his coat was shrugged off gracefully and folded over his left arm. The scarf was left one, one wrapped very loosely done about his slender silver sweater covered neck.

Christmas! It was one of his favorite holidays. The one time of the year he could go shopping every day and no one would bother to say anything to him about it. It was like heaven though it did mean he had to go alone a lot if he wanted to be able to get everyone presents. He already had a small pile for each of his friends and a mountain forming for Rik.
It had been a while since he'd had a significant other to shop for and he was going to bury Rikard in presents. He knew that Rik's parents were likely to leave him alone for the holiday so he was just going to make sure that he had a damn good one anyway. Cordy and Luc had even agreed to help him conspire and were hiding some of Rik's presents. He'd set up a tree in his room and it was already stuffed with little boxes and the others could bring the rest of the presents over when they all got together to exchange things.
Currently he was still out looking for gifts for Cordelia and Abby. He'd found them some things but he just had to go for the usual 'girly' presents. He was poking around in the window of a bath shop wondering what sort of things the girls would like. He was dressed nicely in a simple black coat and jeans but Abby had pinned up some of his hair with a candycane clip and he'd just gone with it. It was Christmas after all.

When he came out of the elevator it was a short distance from there to the natural bath and body works shop he needed to spend some money in. A lotion would be nice and a new body soap but he also needed more of that facial scrub he used to keep away dead and dry skin. But what scent, maybe something with a green tea scent?
Thinking over that as he headed for the stores entrance he looked at the male standing at the window looking inside. "Seems someone is nervous to go into an unknown store." He stated, slate eyes having shifted their focus from the stores entrance tot he dark haired male. He'd seen it before, people standing looking at a store, into the windows and peeking into the store openly, with this nervous deep caught in headlights look. He could only figure them to be nervous and unsure, whether it be over what to buy or they were clueless over products he didn't care.
Taking the time, standing in place, to look the other over. They were dressed well enough though their hair was longer than his and looked a touch messy in his opinion. Though he'd seen others with messy hair. Over all though the other wasn't bad on the eyes at all, but Alexandre also knew he'd never even consider perusing some civilian; like they were different then himself...beneath himself.

"Me? Nervous about shopping? I would fall over dead the day that happened." he laughed as he turned around at the sound of a voice. He was dressed in a nice dark gray coat and white shirt along with a pair of jeans that were just tight enough. It was 'frumpy' for his usual attire but he had been a hurry when he'd left the house.
"I was just seeing what they had out here since places like this like to tuck special holiday things in the displays and then not have them anywhere else in the store. It's depressing." He had liked the look of the cookie scented lotion. He figured either Abby or her sister would like that. "I need presents for a couple of my girlfriends and last time i bought Cordy clothes she got mad at me so I figured she couldn't get mad about this."

A raising of a brow followed the others comment about not being nervous. Of course not, he just happen to look like other people who were nervous did. Turning back to the stores interior he made his way inside, tossing a comment over his shoulder as he headed in.
"Of course she can, if the scent is wrong. I'd personally throw it out in front of the person if it were something I didn't like." His words were purred but with a certain amount of coldness to them. At least the other male wasn't dressed too shabbily, though it wasn't anything he'd wear himself. At least it wasn't as bad as some people, he'd seen someone in tight neon green hot pants on the way to the elevator, with hot pink spike heels.
As one of the two workers approached he smiled as charmingly as he could asking about what he wanted, the scents had to be the same; it would be odd to smell of all different scents.

He rasied a brow at the other's tone. "Sounds like someoen's got their panties in a twist. I wouldn't get either of them something they didn't like. I've dug through both Cordy and Abby's bathrooms so I know what sort of bath thingies they usually have. I just have to pick out something they want." He left off mentioning the reason Cordy had tried to hurt him last time he'd bought her clothes was because that involved a rather small white bikini. She had looked amazing in it though just like he'd thought. It was still sad she was convinced he was gay.
"You really should mix things you know. If you mix the right scents it's so much better than just smelling like one thing."

So he was the sort to go digging about in people's personal things, how distasteful. For a moment he wanted to snort in distaste of the others admission but held back from doing so.
Rather he turned his head, the silk ribbon which held his hair back caught on the collar of his coat and slipped out of place and down the length of ash hair. Freeing his hair as it fell to the ground, a nice loose little bow. "While that is true, in some cases, I prefer to not layer scent upon scent upon scent. It can bother some people and be less then pleasing." He spoke as he turned around to face the other. Blond hair fell about his face even as he bent to retrieve his hair ribbon. When he rose, slowly, he undid the bow slowly with deliberate movements of his fingers. Finding a sink to lay his coat by he swept his hair back and up and tied it back up slowly. Watching the other through the mirror above the sink.
"Green tea and aloe will do nicely I believe." His attention having turned to the worker he'd been dealing with.

"Like I said it depends on the scent. If you take the sugar scents and add say ... rose on top it still smells wonderful and neither is over powered." He grinned. "Now I wouldn't say useing one as a lotion and the other as a body wash but a body wash and a shampoo because the shampoo one is going to a far less noticeable scent. The only thing i wouldn't mix is different flowers. That would smell horrible."
He picked up a bottle of sugar cookie body wash he was going to get for one of the girls. "Besides, if you always use the same thing it gets boring."

"I change what scents I use, I'm even working toward making my own." He stated while giving the other something of a mischievous, though edgy, smile. His coat was picked up and draped over one arm again while he followed the worker who was helping him.
"Flowers are indeed not bad, but too many is bad. But I don't like sweet smells. Herbal and natural is far more to my taste." Aloe, honey, green tea, and other such scents were to his favor.
"Tell me, what do you personally prefer?"

"Nothing they sell here. There is a green tea and bamboo one I order off line that i love." It didn't really smell like much of anything but it felt good and made his skin stay nice and soft. "Though I do like sweet flavors for my hair, though usually rose of some sort though I did try a strawberry one once that was amazing."
He smirked as the worker looked at him and waved off her offer to help him too. "The sweet ones are nice as long as they're not overpowering or if they're on the right person. Maybe the sweets don't match you ... a little tart are we?"

"Neither, calm or soothing. But no, sweet isn't me." The other was right about that at least. Smirking he kept his eyes on the other for a moment before grabbing what he needed. He had a little stretching to do, something the female seemed to have an issue with as the worker was shorter than he was. As he reached his sweater came up just enough to show a scar at his left side, from going through a glass window. The scar was nice and neat, he'd had stitches for it, a neat line a few inches long and not all that wide.
Green tea and bamboo, not a bad combination at all, and then rose or strawberry. That part was an odd combination. If anything he might add ginger to the combination himself, tea tree maybe. Settling back onto his boots, the bottle of product he needed in hand, the lower level items he needed were easily gotten next from the same area.
