Viewing it visually, the musicians look like ugly, Satanic singers with huge nostrils. Christians aren't the only ones who like to wear cross necklaces; goth people and devil worshippers wear it for jewelry. I turned the volume down, so I didn't hear the music or the lyrics because my mom is sitting near me at the office. So, I'm sorry to say that I'm only examining this visually.
Wikipedia says, "Originally formed in 1968 as a heavy blues rock band named Earth and renamed to Black Sabbath in 1969, the band began incorporating occult- and horror-inspired lyrics with tuned-down guitars and achieving multiple platinum records in the 1970s. Despite an association with occult and horror themes, Black Sabbath also composed songs dealing with social instability, political corruption, the dangers of drug abuse and the often apocalyptic prophesies of the horrors of war."
Basically, I think the band Black Sabbath is trying to brainwash people by encouraging them to get into the occult, witchcraft, darkness, and negative thinking (aka instability, political corruption, the apocalypse, and possibly the future WWIII?) that would instill fear? Because when you're in fear, it hinders your cells' ability to proliferate. Sorry, I'm just theorizing at this point about the band's meaning. It can't be all good.

God never condemned rock or heavy metal and yet fundamentalists like you take things too seriously. You want to know why Black Sabbath makes songs about witchcraft and satanism? Because it offends blowhards like you.

Dramatica Angeliqua Santiago Tay Capone Just for the record Wikipedia isn't a trusted site. I know. So what do you think of Black Sabbath? Well My friend has told me that this song is particular is the devil's 3 chords hence the intro of the song. He also told me that some of the original band members mysteriously died after the making of this song. My friend said that he played the chords one day messing with the song and he had a week of misfortune he ended up in the hospital. The song imo is a heavy song and I'm sort-of into that stuff but at the same time it is scary. So I'm kind of half-and half about it.

Because when you're in fear, it hinders your cells' ability to proliferate. Sorry, I'm just theorizing at this point about the band's meaning. It can't be all good. Actually anything having to do with the occult scared the s**t out of the members. They wrote about the occult and darkness for it was a huge interest during that era (especially around the Manson murders in 1969). And quite frankly, they made a lot of money from it. No deep or hidden meaning here
