 As per usual, the little green buck of a unicorn was delicately running a hoof over his tail, making sure every knot and tangle was gone so that it was nice and shiny. He had the picture his brother Lullaby drew for him up on his wall in his stable-room and he smiled at it as he smoothed a few bangs down. "Hey Lullaby, you draw any more pictures?" he cooed aloud at his bro, hoping he was in the area to hear. "My room needs more decoration!" he smiled as he trotted over and adjusted a tiny blue budding hydrangea flower in its lil pot in one corner.

There was the clip-clop of little hooves as Lullaby came running. He skidded to a halt in the doorway, nose splotched bright with orange paint. “I’m working on one for you right now.” He announced proudly, chest puffed out. The little babby smiled at his brother, looking for approval. “D-do you want to help me? You can decide what colour I should use next.”

Hyd's ears flickered to the sound of his brother's clippy clopping hooves as they cascaded up to his door way. When his orange gaze met with the orange splotched face of his brother, his lips wrinkled up at the corners. First in horror, second in disgust, then in the beginning of a giggle. "Oh...." he paused, a few snickering sounds stiffed by a hoof. "I would love to help you." another stiffed snicker. "But I think you got it covered...." he grinned and pointed at Lullaby's nose.

“W-what?” Lullaby watched the emotions cross over Hydrangea’s face, his own expression a look of confusion. “I… what?” He trotted into the room, still looking bemused as Hyd began to snicker. “What’s so funny?” He hadn’t quite realized that he’d gotten a bit too close to his work.

Hydrangea couldn't help but roll over on his back with laughter as his brother remained clueless. "Oh its just... its just.... YOUR NOSE!" he pointed and giggled as he rolled back over to his hooves. "Its orange." he grinned as he gently tapped a hoof to Lullaby's nose, a bit of orange paint blobbing off onto his hoof as he held it up to his face. "Does it match my eyes?" he said and made a silly vain pose with his hoof in the air, eyes wide and staring up at the ceiling.

“What’s wrong with it?” Lullaby looked mortified. Was his nose that funny looking? Had it fallen off during the night? It’s orange. “Ooooooh.” He let out a relieved chuckle. Lullaby wrinkled his nose and wiped it on his leg, leaving a streak of orange. As he watched his brother pose he started to giggle. “Yes, it does!”

Hyd smiled as he set his foot down, accidentally getting orange on the floor of his room. "Oops..." he said and stared down at the floor... before bursting into another fit of giggles as he sort of hop pranced over to his brother. "Show me this painting!" he wiggled, his bum swaying a bit. He always had the most fun with Lullaby.

Hydrangea’s laughter was contagious, and soon Lullaby was unable to hold back his loud giggles.
“O-okay…” Lullaby finally reined himself in, moving to lead the way. But his gaze fell upon the bright orange spot on the ground and he sat back down again with a loud guffaw.
“W-we should paint your room with orange spots!” He joked.

Like a sickness spreading, Hyd had to puff out his cheeks just to keep himself from laughing his full head off every time his brother did. At the mention of painting his room with orange spots, he let out a snort chuckle. "Oh yes! It will be fabulous!" he grinned as he stamped his hoof around on the floor some more, leaving even more orange spots gleaming brightly. "And some green while we are at it! We could make rainbow spots!" he burst out laughing as he raised his hooves into the air and slowly fell backwards onto his back.

The more spots Hyd stamped down on the ground, the more Lullaby began to giggle again. “R-rainbow spots…!” That would be… well, amazing! He’d never had such a big canvas before.
The Phony bolted out the door and returned with his palette. Bright splodges of paint were ready and waiting to be used. Well, maybe they’d just to the floor. Yes, a rainbow splattered floor.
Lullaby covered his hooves in blue paint and grinned. “Let’s make your room extra fabulous!”

Hy'd grinned and let out a little squee. "I can't wait!" he grinned, laughing some more as he stuck each off in a separate color and continued to have a grand time with his brother.
