It was the second day of Garethons interviewing for the internship at his office. He had expected to be done by today but he hadn’t found any more than two applicants that met his requirements, and one of them was honestly a gamble. He hoped that maybe he'd just been unlucky, but the odds of all the bad applicants being in the first day of interviewing were not high. Maybe it was just his expectations…
He stood, smoothed the front of his suit, and opened the door to the room the applicants were waiting in. He cleared his throat.
"Candice Shermon?"

Candice sat in a chair with her back straight and her head held high. She was sitting in a room filled with other intern-hopefuls at a company. Although the job was kind of not medical based, she wanted more experience in the world. It might of been her over-confidence thinking in her head that she could do anything, but even if she couldn't, she would at least try.
She had spent the earlier part of the morning getting ready. It was mostly just what outfit she should wear that she felt was professional, but didn't make her look like an old lady. As she had rummaged through her closet, she kept thinking "dress smart!"
As the clock clicked, she just stared into her lap. She had watched the door open and close, calling other people but her. When her name finally came up, she brushed off the skirt she was wearing and walked into the room. Candice wasn't sure what to do, exactly, but she held out her hand to the man and smiled. "Nice to meet you, Sir. I'm Candice Shermon."

Garethon smiled as he took the woman’s hand and shook it. Candice Shermon. This interview would certainly be interesting.
Garethon definitely remembered the girl. He had been trying to gather energy from her when Remarque had shown up and bargained for her safety. Garethon had remembered then thinking that he should try to learn more about this girl in case he ever needed her as leverage over Remarque, but a few ventures into the area had not revealed her identity. But here she was, and open for questioning. Excellent.
"Good to meet you, Candice, I am Garethon Lafeu, I'm here to conduct your interview. Please, have a seat."

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Lafeu. Thank you for having me today." Candice brushed her skirt flat as she sat down on the chair in front of Garethon's desk. Every so often, Candice took deep breaths, trying to calm herself. She was hoping no one noticed, but of course, everyone would have to be at least a little bit nervous.
She brought up her little bag and pulled out a manila folder. It was a little thick, mostly filled with awards she had won during high school and early time in college. Candice had never worked for anyone before, so she was hoping that what she had helped.
Candice handed the folder to Garethon. "Here, Sir. It's my resume. I hope that it is to your liking and that it shows that I am worthy of the position."
