Note: This is a fling role play between these two polar opposites. Both are owned by me and this idea came because both would not only make lovely babies but also there is something dramatic about bringing polar opposites together. Not to mention that a lovely friend pointed this out and has sparked the inspiration to write them together. Thank you dear friend. Color text code Kev’s color

Neutral/Author’s Narration color Kev, a dangerously gorgeous Azrein stallion trotted through the woods in a jovial disposition with his head held high, his neck arched elegantly and his tail up like a flag as the breeze muffled his mane a tiny bit. This stallion knew he was hot stuff and proudly displayed himself without trouble.
Suddenly at the corner of his eye, something shiny and golden caught his attention from far off between the crops of trees surrounding him. Stopping, Kev looked over and saw a continuous golden shine that shifted ever so slightly under the bright sun over head. Tilting his head to the side curiously, the Azrein male walked over slowly and ever so silently to investigate what could possibly be this odd golden shine.

Far off where the sun shone the most over the crops of trees over head, a young mare grazed peacefully, deep within her thoughts with only the slightest movement of her glorious tail and the flicker of her ears to catch any sound that would signal a threat.
Stepping forward every so often with a flicker of her tail to the side that when the sun touched the golden strands, made them shine brightly like real gold, Luminita stopped grazing when she thought she heard something off to the far side of her coming close. It sounded as if someone was walking but it was hard to disconcert, even in the quiet peace of the woods. Keeping her head down to pretend she was grazing, Lumi waited cautiously for whatever intruder might appear before her.

The Azrein male walked cautiously towards what appeared to be another Azrein. Only by the unique patterns of golden swirls that covered a black body and white underbelly and topped off with long, glorious and golden hair did that make it apparent. After all, did really horses look this stunning in general?
Standing straight and proudly, Kev cleared his throat a bit to catch the mare’s attention. “Pardon me for interrupting I just…Couldn’t help be fascinated by your beauty.” He said in his deep and rich voice. Knowing he was a smooth talker, Kev stepped forward boldly, yet he wasn’t prepared for the mare’s reaction to his pick up line.

Luminita looked up from where she was grazing to look at the sudden appearance of an Azrein male. He had colors of brown and black paint markings with flaxen mane and tail and red patterns that couldn’t have been seen on a normal horse. Unless that horse was decorated yet this male spoke to her as an equal. Perhaps he was however the aloof female looked at the male coolly and un….interested?
Raising an elegant brow, she flicked her tail to the side speaking to him with a bore tone. “You are not pardoned from your intrusion. What beauty you see here is nothing but a fickle and superficial fixation. I suggest that you seek out another mare to impress your words with.” Her words were sharp and startled the male. Good. She wasn’t someone to be easily trifled with and no male would come to her and see her melt at mere words. Luminita was made of solid stuff. Without so much as an adieu, Lumi walked away from the male and his oh so charming words.

Kev stared at the female, in shock and his mouth opened wide. Never in all his years has he been shut down by a female. Never. That was why it took a minute or so for it to sink into his mind that this gorgeous female just totally shut him down into the dirt and was leaving too. Shaking his head, he furrowed his brows and flared his nostrils. The stallion wasn’t going to be easily dissuaded by this ice queen.
Nodding to himself, he followed the female. “I believe you’re wrong on that, miss.” He said, trotting up to her side, no doubt she looked slightly annoyed at his presence. Good. He wanted to ruffle up this impertinent female up a bit. “What I see is a natural beauty that spans far and wide, so rare that it is a diamond hidden behind the very trees around us. You say fickle and superficial fixation. I say,” He lowered his voice that sounded like melted chocolate. “Your right.”

Luminita sighed as the male came trotting up to her. It annoyed her that this male didn’t take the hint the first moment she spoke. She wasn’t interested. None. Nada. Zero. Zip. Adios Amigo. Goodbye for good. Obviously the male didn’t know that either. Silently listening to this male while they both made it to the edge of the tree line that thinned to where the vast grassland stretched, the Azrein female stopped dead in her tracks.
What did this male say? That she was right? Staring at him she almost wanted to hit him with her hoof for such a thing. Why? Lumi couldn’t put her finger on it but if he was going to sprout something foolish she was going to beat him senseless. “What do you mean I’m right?” She said, staring at him as if he was a complete…Loon.

Now he got her attention. Smirking some the young stallion lifted his head and moved to stand in front of this golden beauty. “I said, that your right. Those words are superficial and fickle.” Kev nodded. “They are overused and easily said to gain what someone wants.” The male looked thoughtful his light blue eyes looking at Lumi as if the very sky was doing so.
“How about these words? You are a rare and exquisite mare that the world has ever shown. Your hair is like true gold. As if the very sun kissed it and the heavens sending you to us to be awed by.” Kev grinned widely at his oh so poetic and descriptive words thanks to his favorite author who’s writing this. The male waited for the female’s next words at his statement, almost daring her to call those words fickle.

Luminita didn’t know whether to laugh, which was unlikely given that this male was not funny at all, or scream out to the heavens on why she was suddenly being plagued by an annoying male! Twitching in the sudden increase of annoyance, Luminita gave the not so charming male a glare. “Those words are just as bad as the one’s you sprouted out of your roguish mouth. A mare is neither of those things unless one of two reasons. Though perhaps with your lack of understanding it would be pointless to name them.” Her voice turned icy cold towards this stranger. Lumi sidestepped the male and walked around him to leave. It was also pointless in speaking with such a male in the first place.

Kev listened and had to prevent himself from laughing. Suddenly it was interesting to make this female annoyed. Generally the females swooned or were a tad bit reluctant to sway but they did so in the end. But this one….This one female was putting up an interesting fight. Watching her move around him and walk away again, he turned and didn’t move to approach her. No, he would make this female stop for him. “Then list them.” He challenged with a carefree and slightly flirty look.

Luminita wasn’t even a good mile away, which would be impossible given how abruptly she just left the male, when she stopped and turned to look at him unsuspectingly playing into his….Hooves. “List them? You want to know the very thing that words the ones your sprout easily means in the two different situations?” Lumi didn’t think this male would ask but then it was like giving him an open challenge since his eyes showed the opposite of his flirty and carefree face. The male nodded, waiting attentively for her to continue.
Standing straight in her spot she narrowed her eyes and gave what looked like a scorching gaze from her purple eyes. “The only reason why a male would ever say things to a mare would be for one, it’s from one mate to another or two and the more common especially in your case,” She gave him the look that made him smile and want to laugh, “To sweet talk a mare into mating and then leave after you have had your fill. I don’t think you’ll find anything remotely exciting with me. Now leave me alone without the mating.”
The female’s words were sharper than the first showing a keen insight into some of the thoughts of a male. This came from her stern father’s wisdom that after being gone from her small familial herd helped keep Luminita’s wits about her around males, especially strange ones like this Azrein. Again, the mare turned to leave yet for some odd reason she had this suspicious feeling that this wouldn’t be enough to shake off the male.

Kev laughed…Inwardly. It was amusing that such a female was not only insightful but a spitfire. And adding to such a mix of some wisdom. The Azrein could respect the mare’s caution about strange males lurking about to try and woo a female but this one seemed to do a good job in not responding with dreamily sighs at his charm. He needed to work harder. At least….To keep her as interesting company.
Chuckling to himself he cantered to catch up to the young mare and walked beside her, this time hearing an audible sigh of frustration at again being near her. Giving a cheeky grin at the he leaned close to the female only to earn an annoyed sound and sidestep away. “Alright….I’ll leave you alone….Only if you tell me your name.” After the author would already like to have these two acquainted enough to say their names without having to use masculine and feminine pronouns or whatever.

What had she done to deserve such situation? The fight that occurred between her and her sister wasn’t her fault but she gladly took the blame to keep the peace and not let her sister lose a home only to be repaid in the presence of an annoying male rather than something much nicer to make up for the loss. Giving an exasperated breath, she glared fiercely her purple eyes turned hard like crystals. “I’m not going to tell you my name. Just leave me alone and I won’t resort to hurting you severely.” Which again another suspicion came up that him being hurt as severely as possible wouldn’t stop him from pestering just like her first suspicion that was starting to be proven right.

Laughing out loud, Kev shook his head. “Well then, Miss Violence, I am Kev.” It was a nice name. Simple yet resonation with some strength and exoticism with the sensual movement that came natural to this male as they walked…No as they trotted since the golden female started to pick up her pace. “Come on. Tell me your name. I bet it’s as lovely as you.” He grinned when he earned a cold glare from the female at complimenting, yet again. “Tell me and I promise to leave you alone.” He offered.

Luminita didn’t want to know this male’s name. Kev. Though it was a nice name she didn’t want to get to know him and vice versa. Yet what he offered in leaving her alone in knowing her name, she blindly accepted it even if her mind readied up a row of curses and scolding’s for the foolish mistake. “My name is Luminita.” Her mind had to quickly add the next part or else she wouldn’t be able to forgive herself afterwards. “Now go ahead and leave me alone.” Luminita went off at a canter. It was a smooth gate showing the graceful way her body moved over the grass, almost as if she was gliding.

Luminita. It was a name that fitted her perfectly. There was something so luminous or perhaps it was just that with how bright she was physically and intelligent in a sort of cool way that was appealing and fresh, it was a name he found suiting. Hearing her tell him to go away again made Kev even more amused. Watching the mare canter away from him he had to admire the way she moved. Every mare to him was graceful and beauty, whether he made them melt or not. Yet Luminita was exceptionally graceful and completely beautiful to him in her smooth canter.
Picking up his own speed to keep up, Kev cantered easily next to Lumi and smiled. “You see? That wasn’t so hard in telling me your name.” He commented, ignoring the next sound of annoyance from her. “Luminita. It suits you. I like it.” ”I don’t care that you like, I told you to leave you annoying pest.” Kev smirked at the snap from Luminita. “No. Now you have me all interested.
