The Deadly Rose Sins
Within a large expanse of forest, surrounded by nothing but nature, a small society has grown within the trees. In the middle of the forest, a town seemed to sprout to life out of nowhere. Gradually, the town grew to the size of a well-developed city, yet everyone here is devoted to their town and nature alike. Just as people go about their daily lives within the city, they always find time to ‘connect with nature’. At least, in most cases they do. The town itself is known as the City of Roses. Yes, there are fields of flowers (including roses) found in the forest, but that’s not the reason behind the name. When you live inside the city, you connect with nature in some way. Thus, on a sort of “spiritual” level, everyone has these roses known as The Roses of the Heart.
Now, every person has a special, secret garden within their heart. When focusing, the person can view the garden of their heart. The garden contains a field of roses, but of only one shade of color. Despite the usual red, white, black, and pink rose colors in the “real” world, these fields of roses are the color of the person’s true self. Despite what a person tries to act like, the field of roses does not lie. There are almost no fields that have the same color rose, but instead are simply of many shades (ex: various shades of pink). Now, there are only eight people with the main colors: Black, White, Red, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Green, and Violet. The Primary and Secondary colors are known as the Elites of the Roses. When there are major catastrophes within the City of Roses, it is these Elites that come to the rescue. Yet, at the same time, the Elites live their own normal lives. The Black and White Roses, however, are known as the Guardians of the Roses. Together, the Guardians balance each other out. Even when they live their normal lives, people are brought before the Guardians if they are suspected to have corrupted hearts. Thus, with the Guardians powers (it’s more of a spiritual power than a physical one), they can purify the corrupted hearts. This is why the Black and White Roses are known as the Guardians: to take care of the City of Roses and its people.
In any case, the City of Roses lived in a peace for many generations. The Elite Roses and Guardian Roses passed away when their time came, but the colors were always reborn into a new body, so there was never a time when the city was without the Elites or the Guardians. In time, the city grew to be both well-prosperous in the technology world (like today’s day in age tech), but some people prefer to stick to the old ways with bows and arrows, swords, etc. It doesn’t matter because this place lives in harmony. At least, it was for a long time.
Suddenly, for some unknown reason, the White Rose Guardian disappeared without a trace. For a while, the remaining Guardian and the Elites were able to keep the city under control like usual. When the White Rose showed once again, no one knows where the White Rose had gone, but they know who has returned with their lost Guardian: The Seven Deadly Sins.
The Seven Deadly Sins are the transgressions which are fatal to spiritual and even physical progress. You probably commit some of them every day without thinking about the eternal damnation in which you are participating in. However, in this story, there are seven people in which each of them has a sin deeply manifested into their souls that it literally overtook their entire being. Now those beings of the Sins are known as the Sins themselves: Wrath, Lust, Envy, Pride, Greed, Sloth, and Gluttony.
In any case, now that the White Rose has returned with the Seven Deadly Sins, the once peaceful City of Roses has now become dangerous. No one knows what lies behind each corner, but it’s not the citizens that have to worry. It is up to the Black Rose and the Elites (the Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange, and Violet Roses) that have to take out the Seven Deadly Sins and restore peace with the White Rose.
So, are you an Elite who sides with the Black Rose, trying to protect the City of Roses? Or are you one of the Seven Deadly Sins, siding with the White Rose in attempts to take over the City?
