As Circe skipped out of the reaper dorms and out onto the pathway, heading towards the gates that would take her from the school she wondered for a brief moment where it was she was heading off to. Then with a shrug she brushed off any thought that was trying to make it's way into her head. Sadly she couldn't fight them all off. One thought popped into her about how just the day before she had met Kettil and how they had become pretty much instant friends. Maybe her luck was changing? Maybe it wasn't to far of a stretch for people to actually like her.
*A* Slightly miffed Circe placed both of her hands on her cheeks and swooned. A friend! She thought happily. Of course Herryk called her his friend too. Maybe she did have more friends then she realized. This brought her to Mortimer. Was he her friend? She certainly considered him one, but did he consider her one as well? Hmmm . . . This would need to be revisited.
When she reached the gate she sat down right in front of it while she tried to figure out where to go next. Why were these decisions so hard? All the things. Circe thought, bending over and resting her head on the ground.

Needle had spotted the glowing beacon that was the tattooed ghoul...and then she stalked her until she got to the gate she made it her mission to meet, greet and maybe befriend this beautifully inked wonder. Rest assured her expression was quite similar to *A* as she followed the Reaper, though sadly her mask obscured anyone from seeing her starry-eyes. When her prey sat down, she lept strode to meet the perfect opportunity.
"Excuse me, Miss?" The soft-spoken Engraver said, trying really, really hard to not start gushing like a groupie. "I..I just wANted..." She squeaked, but that was only to try and hold back complete word vomit. "I..." If you looked really closely, you could see her resolve breaking, until, suddenly:
"Your tattoos are GORGEOUS!" She swooned excitedly, her inkstained blueish-red-maybe purple hands pressed against her own pale cheeks; she looked more like a ghoul confessing her love than one admiring tattoos. Then, rather uninvited, she reached out to take one of the ghoul's arms, inspecting each inky line. "Where did you get them? Whose beautiful hands created such works of pure art?!"

Circe had been completely unaware that she was being followed by anyone, which probably wasn't a good sign. So when she heard the soft voice of another ghoul behind her she almost jumped out of her own skin. With wide eyes she turned around and looked at the ghoul, breathing hard but thankfully not screaming or passing out.
When the ghoul began to speak she found herself grinning as the ghoul talked about her tattoos and was a little surprised but not in the least offended when she took her arm and inspected her tattoo's further. "Thank you!" She said, smiling happily. Her question caught her a bit off guard and she found herself needing to think on it a bit more. "That's a good question. I just remember always having some form of a tattoo on my body." Circe said, trying her best not to ruin the ghouls excitement. It was then that she realized the ghoul had needles sticking out of her skin. "I like your needles." She said with slightly wide eyes, now moving her hands to hold the ghouls free arm. "How did you get them in there? Do they come out? Do they hurt?" Circe asked, trying her best to resist the urge to touch them. "And your ink is pretty awesome too!" She said, now grinning like a little school girl. Which made sense.
"My name's Circe! Circe Livonia. What's your name? Are you a reaper?" She asked, getting her hopes that this ghoul might actually live in the same dorm as her. Repositioning herself so that she was facing the ghoul sitting comfortably on her knees. Maybe she would be a new friend! Could she be so lucky?

There was a little bit of disappointment when an artist wasn't named, but that was very quickly replaced by the absolute adoration of someone who always had tattoos. Even she wasn't born with a tattoo! That was...that was...!
"So cool!" She breathed out, tracing ink-stained thumbs along some of the snakes in the ghouls arm. Oh how alike their tattoos were! It was stunning; she had to wonder if this ghoul's family was in any way related to the Engravers.
"Oh, thank you!" The Engraver wasn't looking at her own needles; she knew how she got them, she was so used to them it didn't matter to her anymore. "My Elder hammered them into my arm. One spike for every achievement." Needle said proudly; judging by the amount of needles on both arms, she had a lot of achievements. "They do not come out, and they only hurt until the bone heals around them." She spoke quickly and she spoke as if it weren't important right now - which it wan't, to her. The compliment on her own ink however, made a smile twist onto her pale lips. "Thank you! I did them myself!" She was brimming with pride now; she loved when her work was acknowledged.
"It is an absolute pleasure to meet you, Circe Livonia. My name is Needle, and I an certainly not a Reaper, though I have met many lovely ones. I assume you are another lovely Reaper?" Needle released Circe's arm to sit beside her, hands folded excitedly on her lap. Well, for a moment anyway. She reached out once, making her hand intangible to pass so briefly through Circe's. "I am a ghost, as is my sister, and every Engraver before us." Now her hands folded neatly on her lap, a picture of formality.
"Are you a tattoo artist? Perhaps you and I - and my darling sister - may collaberate or trade!" It was somewhat of a taboo, but if Needle was going to be bad while in school...she was going to be bad while in school.

Circe face went slightly pale as she blinked at the Needle. Did she just say they were hammered into her arm? She wasn't familiar with how other Halloweenians did things but.. That seemed a bit harsh! Somehow she managed to keep a shiver from letting loose over her body. "I could not imagine having to sit through that. It sounds very painful." Circe said, a bit surprised that the ghoul wasn't particularly bothered by that aspect. Then again it was part of her family traditions. So to speak.
"YOU did this yourself?!" She said, beaming once again, staring at her arms in amazement. "If I ever want more tattoo's I'll be sure to come to you!" She almost exclaimed in her excitement. It really wasn't hard to rile her up.
As she calmed down a bit she put her hands on her knee's. "Needle. It suits you!" She said with a smile. "Lovely?!" Circe repeated, swooning slightly. She had never been called lovely. Let alone have it in the same sentence as Reaper. Her swooning was put on hold as Needle's hand went through her's. "A ghost?! I've never met a ghost before!" Circe said, holding back the urge to just bear hug her right then and there.
Circe nodded. "I tattooed my parents quite a few times. Although, I don't think my work is nearly as impressive as your's." She said once again admiring her arms. "You have a sister?!" Circe said, not realizing that she had actually met the sister in question. "And she goes here? That's... Just. So. Cool!" Circe exclaimed, now bear hugging Needle.

"We have to sit through it and not make a noise." Needle clarified solemnly, pausing in her capture of the ghoul's arm to lightly touch one of her own spikes. "Very painful, but it is an honor, and an achievement!" It was good to be optimistic about pain; besides, her last piercing ritual...didn't end too badly, she thought.
"I DID!" Needle beamed with pride again; if it were possible, her smile got wider as the ghoul promised to come to her for tattoos in the future. Her pale cheeks gained a light blush at the compliment; her name was never really something she thought about, but it was nice to know it suited her! ...Was it even possible to have a name that didn't suit?! She would have to ask, later.
"Yes, lovely." She repeated happily, avoiding the fact that she only really saw shapes of the creatures she spoke with, but that she saw the tattoos clear as day. Still, lovely! "Oh? Then, I am honoured to be your first ghost!" Giggling softly, the ghoul went on to try commenting on just how awesome and amazing and talented and lovely her sister was...but she found herself caught up in a crushing hug instead.
"A-ah! Be careful, my friend! My needles..." She wanted to hug back so bad, so bad, but at the same time...she didn't want to hurt this Reaper. Why would she, she was being so sweet! "You are incredibly affectionate!" It was nice, really! "Circe, we should be friends!" A tattoo-loving, tattoo-having ghoul with a fondness for hugging...? BFF, okay.

Circe was a bit surprised that Needle had to sit through a spike being driven into her skin without making a noise. She wondered if that really was possible but something told her it was. Something told her not to ask about what happened if they did make a noise. She wasn't sure she could handle the mental images of something happening to her new found friend.
"Oh!" Circe replied as she pulled away from the hug a little. She hadn't really thought about the needles stabbing her in the midst of the hug but now that she thought about it, that wasn't a false speculation. When Needle told her she was 'incredibly affectionate' she couldn't help but blush some. "Yeah, it tends to push ghouls and boils away but I get to excited sometimes and can't help myself. "I would love to be friends with you!" She replied excitedly. Circe had very few friends and she knew no girls who had tattoos so this was definitely an amazing day for her already. Enoh Love Spring and summer quarter happened..... I'm sorry. D;
