Kochava stepped out of the portal and into the woods. Instantly, his IDF training took over, and he was alert for anything that might threaten him or the woman who'd apparently just bought him. He fiddled with the collar they'd forced him into, glad they'd left his dog tags on. He just didn't feel right without those two little pieces of metal on a chain around his neck.

Lynx Lynx gave a smile as she stepped through the portal behind him. "relax... this place is one of peace..." she hummed softly as she looked at him. "besides, if there was anything dangerous... i'd sense it right away..." she smiled at him as she started down a gravel path. "i like things being all natural... so i have to live further away from people then i'd sometimes like...' she sighed, playing with her hair. From the light is born darkness.

Kochava let himself physically relax, but he was still alert. Even though Lynx said she would know if there was anything threatening around, he couldn't help it. It was a soldier thing.

Kochava followed quietly, watching her feet in wonder. Despite all the strangeness in the Center, he doubted he would get used to magyck very quickly.

Kochava stiffened when she took his hand, but he immediately relaxed again. Something about this girl was really rather calming. "If it's so safe, why did you need a slave who could teach you to fight?" he asked.
