Roll an Eleven: Canyon Field: The canyon walls towers high towards the ceiling while the ground sinks downwards several levels, making the top and bottom of the field very difficult to see without special equipment. The cliff faces are very steep with little ridge support for grabbing and climbing; on top of that, the rock faces are very damp which makes grabbing and holding on very difficult. A few skinny trees and roots jut out from the cliff and allow smaller, nimbler pokemon to grab and swing around. At the very bottom of the canyon’s long drop is a deep pool of water. Keeping up is difficult for trainers on this particular battlefield, so stadium officials have set up a special view screen on each of the trainer platforms. A mini camera will follow your pokemon around while it battles (of course, it’s programmed to back off when a pokemon does an attack) and the view screen will enable trainers to issue commands to their companions via microphone. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FLYING and ROCK type attacks.

Walpurgis strode into the arena, Gangrel at his side. The rapacious rattata rarely ever went into his ball now, and Walpurgis allowed it, finding no reason not to. Rushing up to the side of the canyon, Gangrel marveled at the distance down, pushing down a pebble for good measure. Watching it fall, he chattered excitedly. Walpurgis was slightly worried by the field - what if Gangrel fell in? - but his fears would seem to mean nothing to the rattata, who waltzed along the very edge of the canyon as he awaited their opponent.

River strolled into the stadium wearing an expression that was neutral yet pleasant with each step she took her tight black shirt shifted and clung to every inch of her trim figured body giving the other trainer quite the show if he or she were paying attention.
"Alight, who is up to this battle?" she asked in a softened tone as she addressed the trio of pokemon that crowed around her. Grinding his beak together a large male murkrow chattered and clacked noisily as if annoyed, perching on her shoulder the bird nibbled at the silver loop in her ear while cooing seductively in a deep husky tone. "Goddamn it Silo, stop that you perv. Ugh. You know what, you know what, just for that you have to sit this one out. And not on me." Snapping her fingers then throwing a 'down' motion towards the ground the girl then fumed loudly. Nuzzling at her kneecaps the blue and yellow psyduck peered up at the redheaded with its big blue eyes.
That face. Gah, she couldn't let the little water type battle in such a dangerous environment, it was still a baby."Don't worry about it Snuffles, next time okay?" Running her slender fingers through the silken blue and black feathers on the top of the duck's head, there was only one choice left. "Lookit, come on boy, it is your time to shine!"
Trilling with complete joy the pudgy zubat swooped forward outstretching his wings and diving into the field, he had wings, he totally had the advantage. He was ready for this!
"Hey you, we are ready to get this started. May the best trainer and pokemon win!"

Walpurgis waved at the other trainer, blushing just slightly, thankful for his large collar which obscured what he hoped was most of his face from the distance. Looking to the Zubat, Walpurgis began to formulate some quick strategies while he waited for his opponent to make her move. While looking somewhat larger than most Zubat he'd seen with the other grunts, it would still no doubt have the advantage in a canyon, although Gangrel could probably make up for it a bit with his speed and dexterity.
"I'll let you guys have the first move!" he called out, much to Gangrel's displeasure. He knew that the rattata loved to attack first, and the idea that his chance had literally been given away must have pissed him off something fierce. He'd have to give him some cheese later - Walpurgis had already lost an eye, he would certainly prefer to keep his fingers.

“Alright handsome, thanks bunches!” Giving the other trainer a rather playful wink River flashed a honey sweet smile towards the male then snapped her fingers and called out into the microphone that was built into the viewfinder. “Lookit, Toxic now!” Confidently called the longhaired nineteen-year old, letting out a rather vicious screech for a chubby, cuddly companion the zubat named Lookit filled his snout with a glowing purple muck and dived towards his opponent.

Gangrel leaped back from the toxic sludge as it sank into the ground he had stood at just mere moments earlier.
Walpurgis was determined to have a bigger part in the battles, and so he took into account Gangrel's fighting style, calling out for him to taunt the zubat.
[Not only do I get to fight, I'm being told to insult this fatty? The day keeps getting better...!]
Fixing a malicious grin towards Lookit, Gangrel loosed a chatter of laughter. [Was that supposed to hit me, tubby? Gonna have to try harder than that! Then again, if you could, you might not be tubby at all!]

Lookit's brow drew into a sharp line of anger. Oh. No. He. Didn't. Flapping wildly the overweight bat let out a screech and dove towards the smug rattata gathering explicit speed.
"Lookit! Don't let him get to you! Focus your tantrum, use Aerial Ace!" River loudly announced into the speaker, she knew there was no point in trying to calm him the only thing she could do was guild him into using proper attacks.

Gangrel flew back from the force of the tackle, made only stringer by the zubat's weight. Gangrel looked up, smirking, a glint in his now-blue eyes. [Blagh!] he yelled as a burst of ice shot forward from his mouth towards the zubat.
Walpurgis called out to Gangrel, telling him to catch the zubat, not attack it. The rattata widened the beam in recognition.

The next attack caught the pudgy zubat completely off guard in his enraged status, letting out a loud squeak as the ice beam hit him full strength encasing his portly body in the solid sheet of frigid near glass spikes. “Calm down, Lookit, just try and calm down baby!” River yelled into the speaker. “Wiggle your wings as much as you can, try to free yourself from the ice! Gangrel snickered as he watched the zubat try to free himself. Walpurgis allowed himself a small smile. It never truly occurred to him how fortuitous it was to have a pokemon like Gangrel, so incredible in battles and fun to be around. His resolve to be relevant hardened, Walpurgis called out into the microphone to use Rock Smash to debilate the trapped zubat's defenses. He couldn't be sure of whether or not the rattata had heard him, but the sight of a rock hurtling into the chasm led him to believe Gangrel had.
