Coraata

As the names were called signalling his opponent and himself to get to the stage for the bout, he walked along the stone path to the tiled floor of the stage which he had seen many times, but before this had only fought on once. He had a gleeful grin on his face as he adjusted the sword sheath on his back and threw a few practice punches. He smiled at the dark sky, the field around the arena was wet as the slight down pour fell upon him. Before the fight Bubbles had told him to be careful because some of the people here were sly and some were straight up powerful. He was prepared though, he had worked on his technique for a while getting better at mixing techniques to get a stronger outcome. He believed he was ready, but he was not sure who his opponent was, he knew his name but nothing else, and was not really sure what to expect either, but he started thinking, thinking of what would happen, how he would react to what, what he would start with, and what surprises should he save for later. He lightly jumped up and down getting his legs ready, he was looking forward to this fight.

The Saiyan nodded, " Good luck to you as well," He then moved into his stance, he studied his opponent quickly like he had been taught, "I wouldn't intend to." He smirked back and as the gong sounded he sprang into motion he quickly drew his sword seeing that his opponent had his own, and he held it out to his right, he got into a running position, but instead of beginning his body flashed with lightning, and the pieces of tiles below him cracked, his muscles increased slightly, but noticeably, and then he flung himself into a running motion with the lightning still rushing around him, he would attempt to slice at his opponent.

"Grrah! You're annoying!" He shouted as the opponent's sword was swung at him, he pressed his hand out creating a spirit sword blocking the slashes his opponent sent with both of them since he did not have speed to match him. He bounced into the air and took flight, "I will show you Saiyan pride!" He shouted at Rage and a violent red and yellow aura explosion happened around him as his pupils faded, his skin was yellow and hair was red. As he drifted in the sky, he studied the technique his opponent just used, the sounds irritated him, but he was more shocked when the ring appeared to be melting, but he used this to his advantage, he did not know what was happening but if he could strike the opponent maybe they would fall. He then placed his hands forward, grey clouds began to form in front of his out reached palms, lightning began to whip out and lash from the cloud ball, "Cumulonimbus! Buster!" He shouted and with a violent crack the ball blasted at the opponent, his goal was to hit his opponent directly or at least get a hit on him with the excess lightning.

Coraata growled at his opponent's comments and just stayed in his spot, he watched as his signature technique was countered, and he just shook his head, but it was what happened next that would change the match. He looked up to the sky as his opponent formed the static energy, he could feel this, the lightning was already on its way as he swung his two fingers to his forehead. The lightning hit him though he felt the energy rush through his body, he tried to use his Ki to funnel it out, the best he could, during his training with the Cumulonimbus Buster, he worked on that, but he did not get much out and he fell to the ground. He laid there for about five seconds, he could barely push himself off the ground but got on foot and knee and looked to his opponent, "That's a useful technique..." He grinned, "I am close to defeat but losing is not an option." He kept the grin, he made an o with his mouth and blew three things that seemed to be white bubbles which formed into ghost versions of himself. They looked back to him, "Go guys, separate and attack..." He said panting, the first one flew straight at rage as another moved to the left of the stage and one flew into the sky. As the first went to attack and the other two waited, Coraata smiled, he held his hand, which was shaking, into the air and began gathering energy, "What a wonderful place to use this technique..." He sighed as he pulled very little energy from all those around him, including the grass and fans, which would soon accumulate.

The two other ghost waited for their orders as one of their own was blown up, Coraata pointed to the other two with his left hand and then at the newly transformed Rage, who he had to admire, this transformation looked amazing, and strong, but Coraata just smiled he had a plan. He held his right hand in the air which was shaking violently, "almost..." He sighed as the two ghost figures flew towards the diamond beast, but they knew better than to just fly at him, they began to do a swirling motion while bobbing up in down, they would attempt to dodge any energy blasts this way, but it was not clear how well that would work. Coraata put his two fingers to his forehead, but did nothing except for wait, he had a plan, and hopefully it would work.

The Aura around Coraata faded and he was back to normal as he smiled thinking he was about to win, but was let down soon after coming to realize that it was not the end, but he was prepared. He looked at his opponents new form and simply smiled, "Oh boy, that's cool..." He smirked in slight envy as he closed his eyes, but the shot right back open as he shouted, "But it's time to end this!" He disappeared from the spot he once occupied appearing above Rage, as he began to fall he yelled once more, this time it was "Times three!" and his body and aura began to glow red. As he fell he swung his hand down, catching himself with flight, a bit above rage, a violent flashing red aura ball blasted from his hand, this was the Spirit Bomb technique powered with a times three Kaio-Ken, he hoped this would end it.

"No!" He shouted as his attack missed, he thought that would end this, but he was sadly wrong, he felt his enemy appear behind him and gather energy in his palm, he felt the destructive power of the blast he was powering up and as it was launched he just turned letting out a loud shout, once again flinging his body into the third stage of Kaio-Ken and back-hand slapped the energy beam with his right hand, his goal was to deflect the beam. He stood there floating in the air, not moving but as his opponent fell, rage landed on his back, and Coraata held onto him with his left hand. He slowly drifted to the ground, landing on the grass and setting rage down on the ground, haha, "Looks like I lose," He laughed, he finally took the chance to look at his right hand which was throbbing, and to his surprise he did not deflect the Dark Flash, there was a hole in his hand, "You did a number on me, no matter, if anything, I've gotten stronger and wiser, I can just get my Majin pal to heal this up for me." He laughed, he ripped his own shirt off wrapping it around the wound. "Maybe we will cross paths, on the same side or opposite sides, it doesn't matter, it will be fun." He laughed as he stumbled across the path into the back room.
