-Stats-

Chakra Pool: This stat increases your chakra pool allowing you to use more justsu in a fight.
Chakra Control: This allows you to have better control of your chakra, reducing the cost of cast jutsu.

Speed: The speed stat determines how fast you are in comparison to other ninja,as well s the # of Jutsu you can use in a single post.
Stealth: An abstract stat that allow you to be less detected by those around you. The higher your stealth, the better you can sneak and hide in stealth based techniques, or before a fight.
Awareness: This is the counter stat to Stealth. A high awareness is common in tracker ninja and sensory types. A higher awareness stat prevents enemies from getting the drop on you.

Endurance: This stat functions as chakra for Taijutsu. A higher Stamina pool will allow you to preform more Taijutsu in a fight.
Strength: This stat is used to represent how powerful your shinobi is physically.

-Jutsu-

Jutsu are now broken into two types. Main jutsu, and Sub-jutsu.

Main jutsu are the beginning of a chain of skills, and will consume one jutsu slot when trained.
Sub-jutsu will always have a main jutsu as a prerequisite and either augment the main jutsu (i.e. adding new effects) or be a modified version of the main jutsu (i.e. The Chidori needles). A Sub-jutsu will not count against your maximum jutsu known.

When training a jutsu it will become easier based off your level. Ever level will reduce an amount of training needed by more and more, but a jutsu will never go below a certain point, preventing jutsu from becoming to easy to learn.
There is also a maximum point a training cost can reach. You can never train a skill if the cost is above this point, because the training enough would cause to much strain on the body.

-Perk/Feats-

Perks/Feats are small bonuses you can gain at certain points in your shinobi's advancement. These bonuses can be as simple as a boost to chakra, or as unique as augmenting jutsu from a certain element to all gain a bonus effect, or even new skills to be used.

Meditation: This new skill allows you to channel Stamina into chakra, or vice versa. The Transition is slow, and will take time, but can be preformed in battle with proper preparation.

Frost-fire: This is a unique augmentation on all Katon based jutsu. These jutsu not only burn the target like normal, but they also leech the heat from them, causing the target to gain a slow effect, reducing there speed based of the rank of the skill used. A frost-fire skill costs 1.5x as much chakra as a normal katon skill.

Increased Chakra: This perk/feat grants you bonus chakra equal too 10% of your maximum chakra pool. This can be gained up to 5 times (Maxing at a 50% bonus).

Avera lvl/Rank ratio
1-5 Academy
6-15 Genin
16-25 Chunin
26-45 Jounin
46-50 Sanin

Jutsu costs
E - 5
D - 10
C - 20
B - 35
A - 55
S - 80

Every 10 levels all stats are raised by 5.
Every level you are given 2 point to spend on your stats. You may put both into one stat, or divide them between two stats. Stats cap at 100.

Chakra Pool: (lvl*5)+(Cpv*2)=Ch
your level times five is added to your Chakra Pool Value times 2. This gives you your final chakra pool.

Chakra Control: Ccv/2=R%
Your chakra control value divided by 2 is the percent you remove from the cost of jutsu. Round down for percentage, round up fro cost of jutsu.

Speed: (Sv/10)+1= # jutsu per post. // yourSpeed>enemySpeed=faster. yourSpeedYou an preform 1 jutsu per post, but for every 10 points you have in speed you can preform 1 more. Compare your speed stat to the speed stat of your opponent. If your stat is greater you move faster than your opponent. This does not mean that your target can not react to your movements or track them, it simply means that when fighting, always keep i mind who is in fact faster.

Stealth: yourSteath>enemyAwarness=hidden. yourStealthCompare your stealth stat your enemy awareness stat. If your stat is greater then you are hidden, so long as you are actively attempting to hide, and have not attacked the target in 2 posts. If your target can plainly see you, then you can not hide.

Awareness: yourAwarness>enemyStealth=detectedEnemy. yourAwarnessCompare your awareness stat to your enemies stealth stat. If your stat is greater you can detect and tack your target. Your awareness stat represents all of your senses. Scent, hearing, sight, if you have a high Awareness stat then your senses are high. This is useful when tracking an opponent who utilizes stealth.

Endurance: (lvl*3)+(Ev*2)+(.5*Strv)=End
(no idea if this works)
Your level times three plus your Endurance stat times two plus one -half your strength value equals your endurance points.
Endurance is also an abstract stat that determines the tankyness of your RPC. The high the Endurance stat, the more of a beating you can take. This has no mathematical standing, so it left to be RP'ed fairly.
Strength: yourStr>enemyStr=yourStrongerPhysically. yourStrYou compare your strength stat to that of your opponents, whoever is higher is the physically stronger combatant. This will help to determine a few things in RP.

Taijutsu:
The majority of all Taijutsu will be split up into styles.
As well, most Taijutsu do In fact utilize chakra to some extent.
Styles will be split up into stages. Every stage will have a certain allotment of jusu.
When training, you must first train the stage, that will create either active or passive bonuses.
An Active bonus will only take effect, if the shinobi takes the time to fight in said style. The active effect will have a constant strain on your stamina most of the time, but some may be cheaper, or even free.

A passive bonus will remain with you at all times, even when not actively using a style. Passive bonuses are rare, and normally high up in the style tree.

You must train the style and the jutsu in that style independently.
E Ranked Jutsu cost 1 Point.
D Ranked Jutsu cost 2 Point.
C Ranked Jutsu cost 4 Point.
B Ranked Jutsu cost 8 Point.
A Ranked Jutsu cost 15 Point.
S Ranked Jutsu cost 30 Point.
all are per post of style, and per jutsu used.(this may not work, but for now lets say it does.)

Instead of dicking around with this on paper. Lets leave it the way it is. Finish up a clan or four under these rules. Get a few perks and such. Then make a few characters and adjust accordingly. Thought?

I think it will take a bit longer to finish, but the process will be a lot smoother. And it will basically make Alpha testing a lot more bearable.

sounds reasonable. I still need to pull together the endurance and strength equations.

The characters we make should be the Kages, that would seem best.

We need to get jutsu fleshed out, plenty of parent and 2ndary jutsu. Them and classes i think are our main goals.

When do you think classes should be picked? and what are we till we pick one?

Depends. Are you still doing that academy is important thing? If so then maybe late genin to early chuunin. If not then early chuunin to late chuunin, but before they become a Jounin.

If I take this, does that mean all of my Katon techniques automatically do this, or can I decide when it happens and when it doesn't?

Try focusing more no levels than on rank.

I may have deleted it but I had it going something like this.
Academy E 1-5 ( 3 )
Genin D 6-15 ( 10 )
Chunin C 16-25 ( 20 )
Early Jounin B 26-35 ( 30 )
Late Jounin A 36-45 ( 40 )
Sanin/Kage S 46-50 ( 48 )

The (#) is the average level for that rank, most number crunching you should use the specs for that lvl.

So by 10-20 you should be picking you class. That means from 1-20 you have to be something. give me some examples of classes you plan to have, and what sort of bonuses class bonuses would be.

And for the Frost-fire, yes you chose when to do it, so you can just use regular jutsu to save chakra. It was the first jutsu augmentation feat i could think of.

Just try reading though things, try to understand it, and give opinions.
The other thing we super need are Jutsu, if you could compile a good list of them. I'll explain in detail how jutsu work if your interested in that.

When I have time to sit down I can start hashing out some jutsu. Would that help?
