Mid-afternoon was the best time for exploring, especially for a bored young cub. Little Ruoho had decided to wander from the den, eyes as green as the grass below her gazing at the sun-lit pride lands. Her paws pressed into soft earth as she pounced through the long stems, her body vibrating as she laughed eagerly. Those beautiful eyes were still glancing about quickly, until she noticed...something even more stunning than anything she'd ever seen. Her body stretched out, and she pressed low to the ground, staring at the thing. Such a strange thing. Brightly colored....beautiful. A butterfly, Ruoho thought. Was it called a butterfly? Her mind couldn't quite pin it down, but that was fine by the little Seer cub. Her paws crept forwards, and she let her tail flick above the grass, a little sign with its dual-colored tip.
She would catch this thing, if it was the last thing she did. So when she pounced, and it ran off, Ruoho let out a tiny huff of a noise, and chased after the creature, "NO NO NO!" She had to catch it! HAD to! This wasn't okay....That pretty thing should be in her paws!

 Ruoho wasn't the only one who sought the beauty of the sky and breeze away from their den today. It was unfortunate that it had to be sought at the price of sneaking away from their mother, but at the same time, mother never really said anything about keeping that close in sight all the time. Or if she did, then, well... It was surely not directed towards the more mature, responsible ones like the black sister of the group!
Striking blue eyes gazed appreciatively at the sky above the little cub's head, and she breathed a relieving sigh. It was nice hanging around all seven other of her sisters in their den all day, but sometimes she liked taking a breather from Bannie with all her glory-filled ideas, for example.
Honestly, she was the more stable and calm of the lot, preferring to observe the ongoing of their family in the background. By no means was she shy, but rather her gentle and patient way of going about things made her a lot less attention-grabbing than her hyperactive sisters.
She had settled down on a good patch of grass, simply relaxing in the wind and good air. It was good that there was nothing to break her concentration...
"NO NO NO!" she heard out from the distance - what was that..?
"HEY!" the black cub screamed out loud when little brown paws scurried over her body, "OW!"
She flipped over, giving her sister a look and then giving the small fluttering thing a glance in an attempt to understand what was going on here.
"...Really, now? Ruoho, chasing down butterflies?" she asked, "You're scaring it!"
She plopped herself down right in front of her sister, a stern look on her face.
