An old city carved from the rock itself. The structures are decaying and plants have once more claimed the city as their own. Insides of buildings are filled with shade-loving plants that emit a sweet, intoxicating aroma; however, this same scent paralyzes those who smell it after a few minutes (two posts, not necessarily consecutive). Because of a lack of water in the area, Suiton and water-oriented techniques lose one rank in power.

Running up the stairs to the red roof tiled sanctuary nestled between two very blue mountain sides, Nekita approached the overhang to the building. With mask tightly in place, she entered the waterfall straddling abode, sweeping the floor to mask her footprints before hiding in its shadows. Eyes peeled on the lookout for her opponent, through the various holes in the wooden supports, she gazed at the path she herself had just travelled.

Noctis slowly walked up the stairs of the roof tiled sanctuary. Noctis walked over to an overhang, he wondered what his opponent looked like. He looked around and saw nothing."Hey, are you gonna come out? Or are you gonna continue to hide."Noctis called out loud, he had moved very slowly to this place. And noone passed him on the way here and noone has appeared behind him. So he deduced that his opponent was already here waiting for him. It was either that or he was actually alone here, then he would look like a fool.

Target within range, good, she thought, drawing out her fan. Within her hiding spot, she crouched, coiling herself as a spring does before expending its energy. Bursting forth, the wall to Noctis's left broke open as Nekita launched herself towards him, open fan in hand. Nearing him, she would swipe from her right shoulder to her left, presumably trying to slash from his lower left back to his lower left front. (just above the hips) Knowing that high-ranking shinobis usually have great reflexes, she channeled her chakra through the fan as she swiped, sending a wave style slash along the entire arc. If Noctis couldn't get out of the way & received the slash, Nekita would follow up with a generalized leg sweep to bring him to the ground. If Noctis's reflexes were good enough & he managed to get out of the way, Nekita would change direction & jump out over the edge of the waterfall's abyss.

As Noctis waited there he sensed hostile intent, as to where he could not determine. This put him in a defensive mode, ready for a sneak attack. Then suddenly the wall to his left exploded out towards him. Revealing his enemy to have been hiding there and heading towards him. When she slashed towards him he leaped into the air right as the chakra swipe passed under his feet. But he didn't stop, he pulled out 4 kunai and tossed them at Nekita.

There was a good reason to jump out over the waterfall, as the wave slash collided with the major supports to the building, crippling its ability to stay upright. Alone in the air, the 4 kunai advanced upon Nekita, of whom stuck her foot out to try to deflect them. Swiping at them, the first two were successfully clanged together, but the remaining two struck, one through her poor hat & the other grazed a long line across her right thigh. (the swiping one) Landing on a lower portion of the stairs, she hopped sideways as the grazed spot finally drew blood. First my hat, & now my thigh. Darn it!

Noctis saw the building collasping since his opponents last attacks destroyed the support beams of the building. As he fell Noctis landed on a lone upright wooden beam. He looked over at his opponents who was on the lower portion of the stairs. He raised his hand and unleashed a powerful blast of wind from the palm of his hand directly towards Nekita. If he stayed on the beam he would be relatively safe since he had the higher ground.

Being out in plain sight was a pain, as anyone could easily attack another! Looking on, Nekita saw the air become distorted & hazy, ripping up the ground as it neared. Pulling chakra to her feet, she leapt onto the shadowy bridge behind the massive upright stone, going through several motions with her hands. Remember his position, remember his position, she thought, finishing the touches on the Doton jutsu. Covering the area where the remaining supports were, large spear spikes shot up from the ground, interlacing through & piercing the supports, various fallen debris, and straight air. Hopefully the large thick stone would be able to take the airwaves enough until the spears did their job!

Noctis watched as she went behind a large rock to block his attack. Then suddenly spears began to pierce his support beam and he lost his footing and fell. He was about to be pierce by a spear but turned his body enough so that it just cut his side. Nothing too serious as he pushed off the spear that just cut him. Leaping towards the large stone rock that his technique had hit. It did indeed cut through some of it, then Noctis gave it a strong kick causing it to tilt like a tree and fall towards the shadow bridge that Nekita was hiding behind. As it fell he ran along the top towards Nekita. Throwing one kunai at her while he did that.

Nekita looked up at the sky as it darkened, the deep rumbling helping Noctis's rock to fall towards her bridge. As the area turned blue from the sudden effects of the darkening, the kunai sank along the opposing side of the thigh that was previously cut. Stumbling & falling to the bridge as the rock also collapsed on top of it, the buckling caused the bridge to wave, popping a hobbled Nekita straight up into the air like some kind of rag doll. "T-t-tsunamiiiiiiii!!!!!!" Nekita yelled, trying to ignore her bad situation & pointing straight up into the air. Indeed, what had blocked out the sun was not a cloud, but an entire wall of water. In such a situation, Nekita had almost no ability to retreat from whomever & however such a jutsu had occured, casting an immediate grim feeling over the match.

Noctis watched as his opponent was helplessly thrown into the air by the movement of the bridge, this would have been the most opportune moment to end this match which is what he was planning to do until his opponent yelled out tsunami. Which was an absurdity, they were in a canyon basically a city surrounded by mountains. He turned in the direction she was looking at and saw the tsunami. Noctis stuck himself to the rock that he was one and it broke apart hitting the bridge and fell below the bridge. Once he knew he was out of sight below the bridge he jumped on the rock and ran up underneath the unbroken part of the bridge that the rock protruded out and would block the incoming water. Hopefully it would appear to his opponent that he had fallen into the ravine below.

Coming into contact with the dropping wall of water, Nekita tried to scream but came up covered due to the overwhelming sounds of the water hitting the canyon. Rushing down passed Noctis's hiding place, the water would drain away in vast, temporary waterfalls, leaving him the only one left on the examination field, it would seem. Where parts of Nekita's hat & cloak had managed to get stuck in some of the rock, a great bunch of blood sat intermixed with some swirling puddles. Overhead, a gleam of sunlight hitting a suspicious headband would reflect momentarily before departing, leaving Noctis finally to himself.

Noctis heard the water crash with tremendous force against the rock. He pushed himself tightly against the rocks, after it was over Noctis didn't hear anything. He did however catch the faint scent of blood. He walked upside down under the broken bridge to look over the edge. As he did he saw some gleam of metal far above, there was no way his opponent had gotten all the way up there. He rushed up a cliff as fast as he could. When he reached the height where he could see whoever was up here. They were already gone, Noctis didn't like this feeling he had. He jumped down and landed on the stairs. He couldn't sense any hostile intent towards him at all, so his opponent was probably gone. He walked down to the rocks where the hat and the cloak were he retrieved then brought them back up. He wondered what he was supposed to do now. He decided to head back to the examination area.
