Hmmm…

She hadn’t seen a certain punk reaper around all that often as of late…and while this may have not been a cause for concern…to the valkyrie it was! When you seen someone often enough…and then you just don’t, that’s rather suspicious. Plus…in her opinion, the boil seemed to be acting off as of late.

Any efforts made to wait for him in usual spots, such as on the first floor of the reaper dorms, were met with no good results…so Hel took to waiting in a new spot. She nestled herself right between two gargoyle statues that loomed over the entrance to the reaper dorms. Perfect. She could easily see who was coming and going, but she knew from below she’d have a hard time being spotted…not that anyone was usually looking up anyways. Now all she had to do was wait…oh…and she would. No matter how boring that part was.

Even in the dark with nothing but the moon light, Hel could see that purple Mohawk a mile away, like a light house on the coast of a stormy sea.

How long had she been sitting up here again? Too long. She was a bit irritated, and it’d show. The ghoul leapt to her feet, vaulted over the shoulder of one of the gargoyle statues, and went flying down through the air, and tackled the poor punk reaper right to the ground. Where she promptly sat on him.

“Oh Sally, look what the black cat finally dragged in ~”

Did Hel look like she cared that Roch had the wind knocked out of him at the moment? Nope. What a great friend she was!

“Heh…” She looked down at the punk reaper, grinning a bit. “I think he has a smidgeon of an idea…” The ghoul pointed a finger at her chest, and made a slashing motion across it. “He wears my affection on his chest.” Poor, poor cowboil probably did not know the full extent he was in for yet. Hel kept her perch on the punk reaper for now. “So…where have you been?”

“The entire time?” Hel echoed rather skeptically.

The ghoul hummed thoughtfully, and wiggled a bit, making herself comfy. “I dunno, friend.” She jabbed a thumb at the gargoyle statues above the entrance. “I was perched there since before the pumpkin sun set.” She then waved a finger at the moon and make a ‘sucks to be you on the ground’ expression. “I’m not worried about Mot getting the wrong idea, because he knows my ah….antics, as for everyone else? What do I care? Now…where have you been, truly?”

“You know what I’d really appreciate, Roch?” Hel shot back. “I’d really apprecia—OOF!” Hel went flying a bit in the direction Roch shoved her, absolutely not expecting it, but she gathered her wits about her in time to roll back up to her feet. Oh. It was on, now. You didn’t do something threatening to Hel Brynhildr like that and not get retaliation for it, friend or no.

“Oh ho!” Hel came lunging back at him, pulling one of her legs back to deliver a swift kick to his a** if he didn’t get out of the way. “What’s got your panties in a bunch, friend?”

Hel steel plated boot met nothing but air. Aww, disappointment.

The reaper hopped a bit in place, getting her balance back. “You make that sound like a big deal, why is that? Friends sit on friends all the time~” The ghoul brushed a thumb across her nose. “I would be upstairs ‘trying to get groped’ “ Hel did air quotes for him, “If I had not been sitting up there all day trying to find you.” Goodness!

“And I do not mean where have you been tonight, I mean where have you been?”

The reaper rested her hands on her hips as Roch finally started to list off what he’d been up to, tilting her head as her brows furrowed.

Wait, what?

“…Sounds like…you have been busy…” Her eyes narrowed though as a brow rose now. “…Have you been avoiding me?”

Hel just gave him an ‘are you stupid’ look. “When Mot and I want time we’ll make it…where do you get these ideas from?”

Oh, Roch wanted to go to bed? Too bad.

“Ah…I’ve waitied up there for you for hours, and you want to go to bed?” Hel tilted her head. “Nope! Not happening. Have you really been scarce because you simply wanted to ‘give the couple some space’ ?” A.k.a Hel didn’t entirely believe Roch’s reasoning.
