What does your cat like? or not like?

Sadly I cant afford foods like Blue or Wellness so they are on Purina Indoor Cat Formula. But when I get a job I will switch them to something a lot better.

It is sad how costly some of the holistic food is. I am glad I am able to get Blue for my cats. It was only a few months ago that I started paying attention to what ingrediants were in my cat's food. I think I first started them out on Nutro or something like that. I can't remember. Good luck with the job hunt!

My cat is a out door mouse killing machine. She at least thrice a week she leaves something for us on the front steps... So my cat gets lots mice and other rodents she finds outside and we give her just regular cheap cat food. And she gets to eat good human food too only meat though. I have always believed in letting animals be them selfs and I just know that cat loves to hunt and feed her self so I'm more like back up food in the winter months

It's sad how the bags are like 20$ a piece or higher. I know that it is good and worth it but I just cant afford to blow that kind of money every week. =c I hope to get a job soon. ^^ I'll just keep on applying.

If you have your cat on a feeding schedule, and only a measured amount of food that goes based on your cat's ideal body weight and activity level, it should last a lot longer than a week. Unless you have that many cats, going through one bag a week is a lot of food for them to be eating. They don't have to eat as much of the higher quality food as well because they don't have to eat as much to get the nutrients they need. My cat and my family's cats are on Orijen. They absolutely love it! The only other kind of food I'll give my cat is Wellness canned every now and then. She loves that too!

My Aunt and Uncle's cat was like that. He lived to be about eighteen or so. They decided to put him down this year as they didn't want him to go through another winter. (They live in the mountains)

Monochrome Monster My cat eats Purina Cat Chow. She eats a lot of food. She also eats a lot of wet food. She doesn't even like dry food anymore. Really? My cats are the opposite, they prefer the dry. Sometimes I break out the wet food occasionally, the cats act all excited, but they just drink up the juice and leave the food. xp

Why is that holistic, though? The term is confusing to me.

Why is that holistic, though? The term is confusing to me. Holistic means that you are focusing on the whole and not just the parts of the whole. Holistic brands have more ingrediants that try to give the animal a complete and whole diet. I don't think this word fits very well when describing pet food, but it is what the petfood stores/companies call it. I think that the word "holistic" is a another way for the brands to say "well-balanced", or "healthy". I also think that it is another way for them to say that their food is better than other brands, as in most commercials for food you hear how healthy it is but never the word holistic.Hope that helps? xp
