Only two maps being cut this upcoming season: Abyssal Caverns and Nerazim Crypt. According to Blizzard, they want to introduce more tournament style maps into the ladder so pros can get more practice and regular players get to feel what it's like. The two maps being removed did not fit that description in the slightest so they are being replaced with two maps that are more symmetrical so as not to give an unfair terrain advantage to any one race. These maps are: the two player Arid Plateau and the four player Entombed Valley.
