Roleplayers participating in this Roleplay LizzyMoo - Sailor Iris + ********* Koreco - Sailor Metis Desukyun - Sailor Parthenope DivineSaturn - Sailor Irene chirigami - Sailor Chibi Hygiea Remove - Sailor Chibi Egeria Carneli - Sailor Eunomia LP - Sailor Victoria Lithia_Brandon - Chamela, Needla, Kanna, Jagder (YOUMA) kuromeez - Terra Firma, Akeel, Fortuna, Cherie (YOUMA) Orestae - Tanzanite The month of December was always a very busy time in Destiny City. All sorts of holiday celebrations and events were going on pretty much every night in the city. With the various Christmas tree lightings, the carolers, and last minute holiday sales, the city was hustling and bustling each evening. Unfortunately, the increased activity did not go ignored by the Negaverse. It seemed like moths drawn to a flame, the youma were attracted to the increase in starseeds flooding the city each evening. It meant more energy to be drained and for a few greedy youma, more starseeds to claim as a snack. This early evening there was a small concert in the park filled with all sorts of holiday music. Some was religious, some was classic, and some was even pretty modern. However, all were the sounds of Christmas, Hannukah, and any other holiday found in this time of the year. Families had set up on blankets in the field where everything was set up, snuggled up in warm clothing. The weather had been getting colder, but the snowfall hadn't been too consistent yet. Grass still peeked out under small patches of white. It seemed that the music had attracted families, good times, and youma. Strong youma. Towards the edge of the park, closer to the baseball fields, a cat and a senshi had been the first to notice the strong overwhelming feel of darkness. They could hear the echoes of the music towards the other side of the park, and knew where there was music, there would be innocent people. If someone didn't intervene, there would be a lot of victims by the end of the evening. "...Cat... get their attention... I'll message th'rest of the team..." The blonde girl pulled away to the sidewalk and pulled out her phone. "Roger that!" the guardian stated before trotting towards the pitcher's mound. She glanced left and right, making certain that there weren't others around. Once she had found her way to the mound, she shifted from the shape of a small round cat to the shape of a teenage girl wearing a top hat.
Merely doing something so simple would attract the attention of pretty much any youma on the street.
"Goodness... it's kinda cold out!" the cat-earred girl commented with a giggle as she stood there, wriggling her toes. The eternal senshi shook her head slightly at the guardian on the field before texting a simple message out. "Urgent! Need the full team to meet at the park towards the baseball field! Get here fast and be ready to fight youma!"With the message sent, all the eternal senshi could do was make her way to the guardian and wait.

Christmas music twinkled not only from the concert, but from computer speakers as well, and one body curled up on a couch was firm set to not move an inch. Hot chocolate was sipped, the music was enjoyed, and Lilith had no intention of going out into the nippy air that evening.
Least. Till the phone buzzed.
She listened to the digital voice reading off what the text said, and felt her stomach clench. For a variety of reasons. The fact there were youma out. The fact Iris was using the word urgent. The fact she had to go out in the cold. Oh, she got her pen all right. Henshined up quick enough before heading out. But the super senshi was not a happy camper as she took off towards the baseball field by rooftop.
Warm thoughts of curling back up with a book, making another cup of hot chocolate, and ignoring the world for the rest of the night once everything was over... for a moment, it put a smile back on her face. Something to look forward to. She sped up, both to hurry to the scene, and also in a hurry to get the fight over with--it was cold out here! Her mental eye scanned the energy that echoed and bounced to and fro, and up ahead... Oh.... goodness.
Yellow and silver energy was flaring in her vision, a beacon that drew her onward. That wasn't a good sign. She'd only seen that energy a few times before, and never for a ho-hum reason. Considering it was in the same direction as the baseball field.... Metis picked up the pace further, all the more concerned as to what sort of emergency would call for this array of factors. Surely it was just a few of the usual youma, right? Her approach got her unspoken question. Black waves tricked into the mixture, and by the time she'd arrived at the epicenter of yellow and silver energy, a new body of copper and silver joining her own waves, the darkness made the hair at the back of her neck stand on end. Her boots crunched against the dead grass, head shifting slightly as she searched the colored waves for further information. Empty eyes came to rest in the direction of the bright figure on the pitcher's mound, a small smile slipping into place. "I could see you from a ways away," she informed ********* softly, still somewhat awed by this. Her body was stiff though, nodding briefly to Iris in greeting before looking around.
The Christmas gathering--so much copper in one place! Almost made her head spin--made her all the more uneasy at first. Certainly helped explain why there'd be so... much? Many? The blind scout continued to survey the area, trying to pinpoint the source of black energy. "Have you spotted anything yet?" She'd seen ********* aura from that far away... could only imagine how it'd feel to the youma. Though she certainly hoped the others would be here before they crept out of the shadows. Metis didn't even bother to ask if the other Asteroids had been contacted, the language of the text alone had made it obvious they had been.

Egeria was rather excited by the text message. The WHOLE team! She hadn't met the whole team yet as well Egeria tended to never be where she should be at any given time, like now she should have been inside and doing whatever it was her mother had told her to do but instead she was in the park heading towards the baseball field. After all she had been in a battle already, she had shown that nega dude who was boss! He had bite marks to prove it!
Actually that was something Egeria wanted to say to Iris. Why was it the nega wouldn't hurt the chibis? She was happy to fight so why weren't they and if they didn't want to fight did that not mean the chibi's could beat them really easy? She chuckled to herself at the thought of the negaverse being defeated by her, Hygiea, Hug-bell, Hypnos and Ixion. That would be awesome.
She saw ********* and Iris and another senshi she hadn't seen before and walked straight over to the stranger.
"Hi I don't know you but I am Egeria." She then smiled at ********* and looked at Iris.
"Did you know that the negaverse apparently won't beat up children? Even when I attack them. How pathetic is that!" Yep the idea of fighting a youma was somewhere over there in that place you tend to forget about.

"No, you're doing it wrong!" Was squealed before various arms flailed and fought and crinkled a terrible waste of wrapping paper in such a flurry that Evie almost didn't hear her phone.
"Evelyn, are you listening to me?" Her little sister's voice pierced the air again as she crawled the through the large pile that had accumulated from the sibling's joint attempt to wrap presents, only to pout at the fact Evie was reading a text message and not listening to her.
"I gotta go," Evie announced and was out the door before her family could look suitably confused at her dropping everything and vanishing.
In no time at all, she henshined up and Sailor Eunomia was pounding the pavement, thinking of all the terrible reasons the message could possibly contain the word 'urgent'. So far her imagination had managed to get her half paranoid out of her mind by the time she made it to the park, easily locating the trio of senshi already there and sensing ********* nearby.
"Hn?" Only a syllable made it out, along with some body language to indicate she was curious for an explanation, but she refrained from bombarding Iris with a million questions.

Feliks had been in his room playing one of his 'damned video games again'. He'd been talking to the team on vent while playing, some sort of war tactics game. He hadn't really expected anything to go on either. It'd been a little while since he had been woken.
Obviously, though his phone went off and he lofted a brow to see what it said. "Oh. Hey guys I gotta book it. Apparently my boss wants me there for an emergency Christmas rush meeting. I'll join back up later." He said hearing a few see you laters before he got logged off and was heading out the door past siblings and parents. "I'll catch you guys later." He had his skateboard in hand so no one seemed to want to question him.
It didn't take long for Victoria to take to the streets zipping by the occasional person on his skateboard. "Sorry folks!" He called as he kept going, god it was cold, he was wondering if he could get some of those socks that covered the rest of his legs. It took a few moments for him to reach, the baseball field skateboard in hand.
"Sup?" He asked as he stood near Eunomia.

Waylon had been accompanying his brother's ridiculous shopping trips to cross out names on the ungodly long list of people that Bernard knew. Not being able to be out of his sight was a serious bummer. Not only that but it was colder than all hell. He seemed to shrink deeper into the wool. Well, it may not have been that cold but no one could ever say that he wasn't overly dramatic when it came to not getting his way.
It was then, when Bernard was happily chatting with the cashier that his phone vibrated. Waylon delved into his pocket and glared at the phone before seeing exactly who it was. "Crap..."
Right then? Seriously? It wasn't like he could just drop what he was doing and run off. What if Bernard called the police or something? He was supposed to be under supervision after all. It was time to make up an excuse to be as far away as possible. "Uh...bro?" Bernard was ignoring him again. An obvious sign that the man was busy. "I'm gonna go get hot chocolate. It's literally across the street. I won' be anywhere makin' trouble so don't lecture me on it today!" Bernard gave a wave of dismissal, as Waylon tiptoed slowly away. When he was sure no one around him even cared about his existence, he sprinted off. Maybe there would be enough time to just say he'd been in line the entire time. Maybe Bernard would actually believe that. It's not like he wanted his little brother to be expelled right?
By the time he reached the group of senshi, he'd already donned the whole Parthenope routine. He scanned around, noticing someone he hadn't met before. A boy?...He thought he was the only one. Either way, with how cold it was, he was actually happy to be wearing tights for once.
"You know that not all of us can jus' drop everthin' on a whim. Can I get a little advanced warnin' system or somethin'?

There was still enough light out for Ridley to be outside in her backyard, easily being amused with how she was able to see her breathe in the crisp winter air. She was supposed to be making a wreath with the cut off branches from the Christmas tree, something she had insisted on doing after her art teacher had explained to her how... but obviously her attention had been diverted elsewhere from the pine branches, ribbons and hot glue.
Her orange eyes finally pulled from the open air to the small orange phone that vibrated in her pocket with an additional loud 'nyan' sound. Finally getting used to the fact that it was 'the other phone' she took a long hard glance at the text that had been sent and immediately broke into a huge grin.
The whole team, huh? She had met them in their civilian forms months ago, but now she was finally going to see what they looked like as Sailor Senshi! Well, some of them she had already met... but that wasn't the point.
In no time at all, Ridley was back into the house, pulling on a scarf - though, she didn't know why since it was going to disappear in a few minutes anyways - and quickly called out to her mom about her whereabouts (though, all Monica heard was something about Istas... and Lissy... and well, the door slamming. She'd text her later about it).
And a few beats later, and magical words and ribbons, Sailor Hygiea raced down the streets as fast as her little legs could carry her, holding her phone out to figure out exactly where the rest of them were. The little blips of her team finally pinged on the GPS, a few more than expected really and soon enough they were within eyesight.
"Aa!" Hygiea exclaimed excitedly upon reaching her assembled teammates. "Heya!" She then greeted with a shirt little wave, "Oh, hey! There's another boy on our team?" Well, that was rather cool, even though it confused her just as much as Parthenope did.

There were no Christmas carols playing in the background in Lydia's room, no smells of chocolate or cinnamon, no excited chatter about holiday plans. With the last of the scheduled midterms looming, some of the more studious students at Crystal Academy had formed a study group. Normally, Lydia was not terribly concerned about her grades. But she was a sophomore now. She couldn't afford to coast, not if she wanted to make her dreams come true someday. Which meant passing all of her midterms. Even, much to her dismay, algebra.
Her phone was on vibrate so as not to disturb her classmates, but Lydia giggled as it buzzed in her pocket. The other girls glared at her, but she gave an apologetic shrug and checked. Her first reaction to the message was elation. Iris was trusting her! Trusting all of them! There was no way she wouldn't be pleased by that. But as the true meaning of the text sank in, her smile faded fast. If Iris was calling for the entire team, whatever was going on would be pretty scary.
"Anything important?" the classmate who was reviewing the quadratic formula asked, her tone implying that nothing was more important than math at this point. If it was any other text, Lydia might have agreed. But since she couldn't exactly disclose her true intentions, she had to come up with an excuse. Ideally one that didn't involve the text, just to be safe.
Lies were not Lydia's forte. She shook her head dismissively, trying to stall for time. "Nah, just my mom wondering when I'll be home for Christmas. Again. Where were we?" She sat through five minutes of review, the phone practically burning a hole in her pocket. Speed was important, and she was wasting time because she couldn't think up a good excuse!
"Lydia, are you okay?" One of her less-tense classmates tapped her shoulder, looking concerned.
"I'm fi- er." Wait, that was it! "Fiery! I mean, I'm feeling kind of feverish, actually. Maybe I should go see the nurse. Don't worry about me, keep going." Lydia pulled on her coat and was out the door before anyone could ask why she needed it to go downstairs to the infirmary. Quickly she hailed a cab, deeming it the safest way to travel. She didn't want to get bogged down by a random youma if this was an emergency. She insisted on speed, tipping the driver heavily in advance as incentive, and almost transformed inside it before she remembered to keep her cover.
Soon enough- but not nearly soon enough for Lydia's liking- the cab pulled up in front of the park. Lydia tipped the driver again, almost tripped in her hurry to get out, and only paused behind a tree long enough to henshin. Sailor Irene ran the rest of the way, panting quite a bit. Stamina was definitely not her strong suit. Neither was speed, it seemed, as she was the last to arrive. Seeing the entire team gathered, all fully powered, was more than a little bit intimidating. There was someone new, too, and a couple of them she had only met briefly. She gave a small wave to Eunomia and Hygiea, but they were standing right near the new boy, and that made her nervous. She lingered instead near Metis, trying to catch her breath. "Sorry... I'm late. What's going on?"

Sailor Iris stood there, arms crossed as she waited. It was the hardest thing to do. She would have rather run off ahead and started beating the youma down. However, aside from that was completely against the rules, it also would have been flat out stupid. The darkness that was coming this way was stronger than the typical youma.
"Keep frowning that way and your face will stay that way, Iris!" ********* obviously had noticed, but even such a simple observation didn't seem to change how the eternal senshi stood or looked. Oh well, she had tried!
As the senshi began to gather, the cat-earred girl waved to each in a rather pleasant manner. One of the first to arrive was Metis. With a well meaning chuckle, she replied "Well, I hope that I am not only attracting you over here, Metis!" There was a pause so she could pat the girl on the shoulder before she added "I have not seen them... but I can feel them getting closer... this was the easiest way to get them away from the concert on the other side of the park."
Next to arrive was Egeria, and though the child was familiar enough to her, she obviously wasn't familiar to everyone. At least the kid was polite enough to introduce herself to Metis while the group was still on the small side. However, Iris was soon enough asked a question she couldn't ignore. "It depends on who ya get in all honesty, Egeria. I had t'save Hug-bell's a** once because a Nega decided to attack her with everythin' that he had. Dunno why, but most do seem t'hesitate with fightin' against the chibi senshi... however, don't assume they'll all be that way. It could get ya into some trouble."
Iris had been too busy explaining things to Egeria by the time Eunomia and Victoria appeared, so ********* waved at them from her spot quietly, but with a friendly smile. However, when Parthenope showed up and spoke his mind about the situation, ********* was more than willing to explain things to him.
"I don't think you could warn anybody in advance to random youma attacks... only way we'd be able to know for certain that they were showing up would be to be on the Negaverse side and control them. A-a-and..." she said playfully, "...that's not happening!"
Eventually both Hygiea and a seemingly tired Irene showed up, but the younger of the two brought up a good point. Not everyone knew everyone else. So once everyone was present the circus-styled girl clapped her hands together to gain their attention. "Alright... everyone's here... there are youma on their way here... I'm going to try and make this fast, since not everyone is familiar with everyone else."
Darting to around the outside of the group, ********* stood near Sailor Iris first. Waving a hand, she then patted it on the bubble-like shoulder guard. "This is Sailor Iris... I am pretty sure everyone has met her at some point or another." She was the team captain, and it would be a bad sign if they hadn't met her yet. Then, circling around the group, she began to pat shoulders as she spewed out the names that corresponded with them.
"This is Sailor Egeria. And this is Sailor Parthenope, and this is Sailor Eunomia, and this is Sailor Victoria, and this is Sailor Irene, and this is Sailor Metis... and this is Sailor Hy---"
Rather suddenly, the silvery haired guardian lurched forward with an awkward jingle of her collar. Being close to Iris again after looping about, she manage to lash a hand out to gain a hold of the taller girl so she didn't flat out fall over and squish poor Hygiea.
"...Giea..." she finished her word before turning her head. Lodged in her back and cutting through the fabric of her outfit was a thin crescent moon shaped object. Already her outfit was starting to gain a reddish color about the offending spot. Rather than leave the strange and foreign object there, the guardian reached and pulled it out from where it was nested. However, such did not come without consequences. Even just holding onto the edges of it for just long enough to pull it out of her flesh, ********* had managed to get herself a new cut upon the palm of her hands.
"What is that, Cat?" the eternal senshi seemed to grunt out as the guardian tossed the object away to the ground. Even in the faint light, it seemed to glitter of many colors.
"...it's sharp..." she said vaguely before shrinking down to her typical form of a cat. She only uttered three more words as she seemed to lay down on the spot. "They are here."

Indeed they were here, but maybe not who the group were expecting.
Youma they were, but they did not look like the typical fair that most senshi were all but taking for granted in the city these days. Short fights that resulted in piles of dust and ungrateful lives saved by people who thought they were terrorists. That was the usual fair for the average senshi.
Nothing about these youma was usual, average or typical.
The first turned its head toward the senshi, standing lithely, its body long and knobbled with obvious, articulated limbs. It had a long tail that swished idly behind it, though it grew rigid and still when the youma's eyes fell on their new prey. This was the youma that made her stellar, if less than subtle, introduction for the group. The offending crescent moon that struck ********* belonged to the tail that now stuck out behind the youma. One of her eyes was focused on the cat as she crouched down after transforming.
The other was twisted up, fixed on Sailor Iris. A grin crept across her leathery features, revealing a line of small, but sharp, teeth that numbered far too many for one mouth. Chamela called the crescent moon, which was almost a foot long, back to her, raising her hand, though the razor sharp item swung through the air and attached itself to her tail.
With her, three more youma lingered close, and more just beyond them. They were all looking toward the senshi group now.
"Needla! Neeeeeeeeeeed!" one of them cried, and it charged forward immediately. Needla was not patient or cautious, like some of her companions still remembered how to be. No, she knew what she wanted and she knew how to get it started. Her goal was not the senshi directly, though. She was running around them, at a wide berth, her body covered in thousands of small needles as if she had fallen into a pile of pine trees, fought them, and emerged the loser.
This youma was focused on Irene, as if something was drawing her attention to the senshi. Still, she circled the whole group, shouting her name and making faces, just daring them to bring it on until she was closer to her target.
Kanna, nearer to Chamela, watched the scene with a detached impatience. Her eyes narrowed at Hygiea, but she didn't move. Not yet. She looked like she might not be capable of it, as if she had grown up from the ground itself to explain how she had come to be there in the first place. Her body was comprised of vines, like a snow man made in a place with no snow. Her hips and chest were made of bushes of some kind, though the leaves were foreign and had dark veins running through the much lighter leaves. Her midsection, arms, legs, and neck looked like vines with similar dark veins. At the top of her neck sat her wooden, literally and figuratively, face.
There seemed to be a human arm wrapped in her vines, fingers just poking out. If it was attached to a human body, however, was unclear. She stood still, only the wind causing her leaves to move, her wooden eyes not moving, yet very clearly focused on the small senshi.
Rounding out this quartet of youma, at least the four standing nearer to each other than the other batch, was Jagder. She was the most human looking of the bunch, which wasn't saying much. But her skin was pink and fleshy, her face rather beautiful if not for the cat like eyes that narrowed at Eunomia. She had Furry patches over her skin, but they were not clothes. Patches of fur grew from her skin to cover what would have been the modest parts of a normal human. From her backside a long, articulate tail swung, and she had round, twitching ears settled atop short, fluffy and uncombed hair.
She knew no fear. She knew nothing but hunger and bloodlust. She charged, lunging forward and landing on her four feet after a few steps, which increased her speed but the burst was short lived as she came to an abrupt stop before the senshi.
Each of the youma hissed and snarled, but they seemed only capable of saying their own names when they wanted to communicate a thought or idea. They were all ready for a fight.

The shadows seemed to stretch and elongate beneath the feet of the youma that stood near the end of the line, its body black and stretched, like a smattering of thick tar smeared across the very air. Despite its inky self, the shape of it was very definitely female, hair the length of its entire body slinking down its back and dragging on the ground, leaving behind bits of black globs with every step. Dark, soulless eyes fixed upon Parthenope, a maniacal grin stretching from one side of its face to the other.
"Fiiiirrrmmmaaaa," she crooned, swaying where she stood. A thick sort of laughter escaped her throat, black tar bubbling from formless lips. "Terrraaaa Firrrmaaaaa...."
Beside the tar, another youma stood - but this one was not nearly as feminine as the first, nor as "normal" looking. Thick, coarse hair covered the torso and down the front, trailing into hoofed legs. A tattered brown loincloth hung from furred hips, and its head was that of a bull, complete with curled lips and dark, cracked horns protruding from the sides of its head. The creature was utterly enormous, at least seven feet in height, perhaps more, and it made a grunting, snorting sound as it stomped a foot irritatedly on the ground, tossing its massive head.
Its lips pulled back, revealing razor sharp, yellowish teeth.
"Akeel," came the muffled, snorted noise. "Ah - k - k - eeeeel."
Its dark, glittering black eyes seemed to lock upon one particular member of the team that stood before them - Victoria, with his radiant hair and smile, and the creature made another stomping gesture.
"A......keel."
She was neither standing, nor walking - instead, she was hovering in midair, legs crossed into a sitting position as she held something glowing and bright within her hands - a white, shining crystal ball. Doused in layers of many colored clothing, perhaps, under normal circumstances, she almost could have been taken as a human - or perhaps not, considering the large, third eye set deep into the middle of her forehead. The bright blue iris zipped from side to side in a restless manner, shifting from one member of the team to the next, as though searching for something, for someone.
The youma's other two eyes were closed, the third wildly awake.
It stopped abruptly, however, coming to a halt when it reached the slender form of Sailor Metis, the creature's lips pulling upwards into what might have been a knowing smile.
Soft laughter, humming and hissed, fell from the youma's lips, the third eye no longer moving around rapidly. Instead, it seemed to stay focused only on Metis, the hands of the youma smoothing over the crystal ball held in her lap.
"Heee hee hee heeeeeee!"
An odd sort of giggling sound seemed to becoming from the last youma in this line. The smallest of the rest, she seemed to be roughly formed into the shape of a girl, her enormously poofy skirt childlike and playful. Three oversized balls were cradled in her arms as she danced from one foot to the other, eyes scanning the senshi until she reached the little Egeria.
"Hee hee heeeeeeee...Cherie Cherie!" giggled the youma, tossing one ball up and then catching it nimbly in her hands again. She threw the second up, juggling all three until they were back into her hands, dancing around as though she could not hold still.
"Cheerrrieeeeeeee," she purred again, grinning at Egeria. "Cherrriee~"

"You fought a Negavere person?" Hygiea turned excited to Egeria upon hearing Iris' response, she didn't get to hear the question but gathering as much as she could from what their captain had said and all. It seemed like an awesome prospect, especially when all the older senshi just kept trying to shove the chibi out of the way.
But then her attention diverted; not even remembering that she had asked a question about the new boy, that his name wasn't even given later. ********* was in her human form and that's what the little girl zeroed in on - she somehow hadn't noticed at first but now gave a little bit of a squeal. "Aa, *********!" It was so rare to see her as anything but a cat and that excitement turned into utmost horror when the guardian was struck from behind.
There was blood and the silver haired girl suddenly became a silver fur cat and Hygiea lunged forward to grab her. "*********>" She was bleeding, she couldn't tell it if was worse because she was smaller now or if it had just accumulated from when she was hit. But Hygiea's focus remained on the small manx, never having looked up at the Youma that were eying the senshi - or the one in particular that seemed to only notice her - even though ********* herself had announced their appearance.

Victoria had been watching the others arrive they seemed a bit shocked at the fact there was another boy on the team. He tensed when something shot past and cut *********. "Ohshit." He let slip as he forgot there were kids.
Watching as the youma showed up each one seemed focused on a team member. Vick had a sinking feeling about this. That was when he saw Hygiea move towards *********. He was about to say something but he suddenly stopped when he noticed what was looking at him.
The biggest, meanest, ugliest one of them all had focused in on him. Vick's eyes widened as he stood there watching, suddenly taking a step to the left to see if it really was watching him.

Eunomia stifled a horrified sound with both hands when she first registered that *********> had been injured, but since Hygeia had already moved to grab the cat, the blunette turned her eyes to the approaching youma. Jagder's gaze being specifically on her didn't go unnoticed, but she found herself more concerned about the ones eying the chibi senshi and Irene.
"Dude," She hissed when Victoria ended up sidestepping nervously. She didn't know what he was doing, but her paranoid mind instantly assumed goofing or retreating, and she gave him a light smack on the arm with the back of her hand before she noticed the huge minotaur.
"Well ******** suddenly felt small and inexperienced and completely lost on how they were going to get out of this one. But, still, she mustered up a mildly unconvincingly brave facade and gave the redhead next to her another light smack. "Oh, come on, Vicky, nothing we can't handle," She said as she looked ready to charge, hands held in fists, and trying seem light about it. It wasn't working.

As each of the youma seemed to step out into view, Sailor Iris couldn't help but focus in on one in particular. Chamela had managed to get her full attention the moment it recalled the strange crescent shaped object back to its tail. This youma had injured the cat, and now seemed to have its focus on both the cat and herself. Despite her usual confidence, the eternal senshi was still even feeling a sense of dread in dealing with the scaly creature in front of her. She couldn't quite place a finger on why these youma seemed different, but they were.
"God... stop makin' that face... yer already ugly enough as is!" With that, the yellow suited senshi spat towards the side before rushing forward at the youma. Perhaps it was just her informal way of measuring its strength, or perhaps it was just her reckless self deciding against thinking stuff through, but soon enough a balled up fist was trying to swing itself towards the youma's bizarre eyes.
The cat was easily scooped up into Hygiea's arms. She wasn't about to fuss over who was holding her. However, despite her pain, the manx was still able to keep an eye open and focused on what was going on around them. And so far it didn't look like it was anything good.
Youma had gathered, strange ones (as all youma were) that seemed to have enough focus to pay attention to an individual at a time. And where as Hygiea's attention was on the injured feline, something else had its attention on the chibi senshi. One of the strange plant-like youma (Kanna) had set its sights on the orange haired child.
Normally ********* didn't like to take drastic measures, but soon enough she dug her claws into the child's arm slightly. It was meant to almost serve as a pinch, as if to encourage the child to come back to reality. "Hygiea! Focus on your opponent before they get the upper hand!"
