One of the darker children walked out from the den where their mother and the others watched over them, breathing in the fresh air. Looking around, she caught no sight or scent of their father, who had taught her how to swim some time ago. Despite her happiness within the comfort of her mother and other siblings, she missed her dad, her tashik, dearly whenever he was out on one of his missions!
It seemed one of the artisans had come by to entertain and dance in front of her siblings inside the den, but she had other things on her mind. Quietly, like always, she slipped out to just bask in the simple wonders around them. Her father and mother always taught her and her siblings to appreciate and see the things of nature in awe, and that was something this daughter took to heart.
As one of her red eyes lit up upon spotting a flower, she ran over there, dark body slipping in the direction as silently as always. She then wondered if everything looked like this outside the borders of their land. If this was what everyone saw, what father saw on his ventures... Then it must have been very hard to be fully concentrating if one was on a hunt.

The odd one out, as always, Mtoto sat silently in the back of the den watching excitedly as the artisan performed before her family. The others seemed quite entertained - all of course except her sister, who apparently was so bored with the act that she had slipped out of the den. The young cub, tilted her head in bewilderment, as she transferred looks between her giggling family, and her non entertained sister. Naturally her over curiosity for all things unusual won over, and the youngin slid herself quietly out of the den as well. Sneaking a peak in one direction, before quickly struggling to look in the other, Mtoto finally caught sight of her sister. She seemed to be lost in thought as she stood towering over the tiny flower below her.
Cringing in fear, Mtoto attempted to dash directly over to her sister, intent on reprimanding her once more for 'intimidating' the plants. But, things went a bit worse than expected. Catching herself on her own tail, the young cub tumbled her way into her sister's backside.
As she stood to brush herself off, her immediate thoughts should have been about her sister. Yet instead, she immediately fell into a deep root of concern for the plant. Bothered not by her own possibly injuries, Mtoto dusted her coat off and looked after her sister, before giving the small flower a once over to calm her concerns.
"I'm sorry..." She cooed softly, with her head down, as though in embarrassment. "It'll never EVER happen again!" She declared with determination. Though, anyone among the Na'vi with a brain knew, it would surely happen again - sooner rather than later.

Alert as always, the darker sister knew there was something behind her. Or someone, rather. Probably a sister, even. What she didn't know was the clumsiness that was to ensue. She just wanted to... keep watching the flower - perhaps if she waited long enough, her sister would just walk on by, pretending nothing was happening. Hey - it happened often enough, when someone else would just wander out of the den, just like her, to stare at some pile of rocks or something. There was just too much beauty in this world to ignore it all and sit in the nursery den all day!
The rush of paws was caught a little bit too late - as soon as she turned around to find her white sister coming up to her, the two were sprawled on the ground right after that realization.
She shook herself off silently, watching Mtoto'wa'dunia with curiosity, and perhaps with a frown, too. Mtoto was always saying or thinking stranger things than the others - Ni'it Nimwey, in all her curiosity for finding junk around the forest, could even be called normal compared to Mtoto. It was apparent that Mtoto had wanted something with her, but yet turned to the flower she had been appreciating just a second ago.
Even Mtoto's talking to it couldn't dissuade the inevitable roll of the eyes she gave.
"Mtoto'wa'dunia," she emphasized her sister's entire name, "if you keep tripping over yourself like that, you'll never learn how to be a good presence in the jungle like tashik."
She huffed, strolling over beside the white form to give an accusing look.
"The only way it won't happen again is if you pay attention more to him when he comes to teach us how to walk along the branches and vines in the forest! With your clumsy paws, you'd just... get yourself tangled in your first step!"
