Suitable terrains: Up to the owner on if it is terrestrial or aquatic. This will effect its features as it grows

Shortly after winter's first tendrils of frost and ice started to reach across his pond, Rippleseeker made a decision to leave his birth home and travel downriver in search of larger waters and a stronger, steadier, sturdier food supply that he wouldn't eat out before the next spring.
Of the challenges that awaited him on his journey; cold and ice would prove to be the least of his worries. His fur offered adequate protection and insulation against the river's harsh chill, while the horn protruding from his forehead allowed him to break through to the surface for air and a view of his surroundings whenever the waters choose to freeze over. The potentially more difficult challenges ahead included problems such as an insecure food supply along the river's length during this time of year, and a lack of any form of shelter most nights underneath the stars.
Somehow through his intelligence, charm, or just dumb luck, the young dragooning managed to reach his new home alive.
