Well, Roch's shower trick had been found out the hard way. Fake blood had splattered the gimblewolf the next morning after the two had done homework. Not only that, but along with the canines washcloth, two towels had bee stained in a deep red when Neil had to clean up.
He had debated just going to replace the washcloth but now that it was a wash cloth plus two towels, it was too pricey for a poor student on a budget. Well, okay, he wouldn't starve if he replaced them, but funds were limited. So now the gimblewolf found him self in the reaper dorms with his linens neatly folded in a tote laundry bag. Roch had said something about a ghoul named Hel that could help him with his problem... The problem that Roch had started in the first place.
No, Neil had no idea that Hel was a reaper, but he knew that Roch was one. And that was why the tall lean teen was wandering about the third floor. Yes, he was quite lost right now.

Hel was rounding up the stairs from another bout of training (she had wings…but she still took the stairs…), and appeared out onto the third floor. Her mind was rather occupied with recent events, so when she rounded the corner of a hall, she just flat out bumped into someone. “Ack!” The reaper let out a startled yelp, blinking as her hands shot out to try and steady the being she ran into in case he or she was in danger of falling over.
“Ah, sorry about that…” The ghoul blinked some more, and then finally got a good look at who she ran into. Oh wait…this student obviously wasn’t a reaper. “…Uh…hello there! Are you looking for someone?”

Something or someone had knocked in to the gimblewolf hard enough to send him tumbling backwards on to his a**. Usually, Neil was pretty fluid when it came to dodging things, but this time he was not expecting to be knocked over. The bag in his hand had dropped to the ground revealing red stained towels. Are you looking for some one? Was all that the gimblewolf really caught. He'd been to stunned to really pay attention to much else. The voice belonged to a ghoul, that much was clear though. It was pretty obvious with the canine ears and tail that Neil was not a reaper. "What the -, " He caught a glimpse of wings first and then the ghoul. It took a moment to find words that weren't angry. " Yes." He finally said in a hiss. The word might not have been angry but the tone was clearly annoyed. He took a breath and rolled his eyes. "I take it your looking for some one here too," He pointed out the ghouls wings. The boil didn't know much about reapers. Hels wings made him assume she must be some sort of demon or monster.

Aww oops. She knocked him to the floor, along with some…oh! Hel blinked, kneeling, as she collected up the blood stained towels and put them back into the bag. “ Ah…say, those are some rotten stains you got there…do you know how to get them out?” Her dual toned gaze turned towards the boil on the floor then, and she stood, shifting the bag to her fair hand while holding her dark hand out to Neil, to help him out. The valkyrie tilted her head at the annoyed tone, and then furrowed her brows. “ Uh…no?” She replied a bit uncertainly. “ I’m not looking for anyone. I was returning to my room from training!”

The gimblewolf had his hand on his forehead now. It had been a bit of a nastier fall then he anticipated. Had the possible monster, demon or what ever just said they lived in this dorm? Were there so few dorms else where that they put her here? It wasn't any of his business so he didn't dig deeper in to it. Instead he got straight to the business part. "No. I'm looking for a reaper by the name of Roch," He gave Hel a very serious look, "Long story short he caused these stains. Said he knew a reaper by the name of Hel who knew her way around a stain"

Hel wiggled her hand at the monster still on the floor, looking to help him up still. The ghoul gave a laugh. “ Oh, Roch’s fault, eh? Sorry friend, but you are a far ways away from his room! He’s on the first floor, all the way at the end of one of the corridors…” As Neil went on though, and then mentioned her name, the valkyrie blinked, and then grinned widely. “ Ah! That is me!” She laughed again. “ Know my way around a stain, huh? Well…he’d be right!” She looked down at the hand that had Neil’s bag of bloody towels in it. “… Ah! So these you need my assistance with?”

The gimblewolf finally accepted Hels hand to help him self up. It was only when his hand touched hers did he remember that she was a ghoul and a lot smaller then him self. So he put most of his weight on his legs to help him self up instead of on Hel. Having a reaper chick fall on top of him was not what he was aiming for. Actually, that would have been great! But that chance had passed as Neil was now up on his feet. Then the ghoul informed him that she was Hel. Neil didn't even realized he was hunching over to get a better look at her. He was being so ... obvious. It wasn't the fact that she was two toned, being a monster you saw a variety of different skin tones, it was the wings. "A winged ... reaper?" He pulled his head back and looked to the side, "Hmph. Here I thought you were some kind of harpie or hippogryph or something." There was a shrug. "And yeah. Some help would be great," He frowned and looked at the bag, "I'd just bought these things."

Hel pulled back, helping Neil back up to his feet, and then rested her hand on her hip as she went back to examining the blood on the towels in the bag. After a few moments, she seemed to notice how obvious Neil was about looking her over. Hel tilted her head, and squinted up at the gimble wolf with a brow raised, staying her ground. It was probably a relief that he wasn’t looking at her skin. “ Ya!” She replied. “ I’m a valkyrie! We all have wings…though there are not many at this school. I was the only for quite a while, until my sister arrived.” The ghoul made a face at the ‘harpy’ comment, as that was a bit of a…derogatory term to her…but hey, this boil knew Roch…so that meant he couldn’t be all that bad, right? She’d give him the benefit of the doubt. “ Well…alright then, friend! Follow me!” The ghoul spun on her heel, and then started to lead the way down the hall to her room. Upon arriving at her door, she unlocked it, and wandered in, leaving it open for Neil. She then kicked off her boots, and made her way to her bathroom, where she started to fill her tub with water. “ So, are you new?”

Neil stared at her when she informed him that she was a valkyrie. He wasn't sure what that meant other then it a form of reaper. The canine also went on to assume all valkyries must be two toned. He didn't press further on the matter though because he actually had a purpose for being here. Neil followed after Hel with the bag now slung over his shoulder. Then she asked him if he was new. "Yeah. I assume your not since you and Roch seem to know each other pretty well," He could only wonder how they knew each other.

While the tub filled with water, Hel also started to shuffle through the items underneath her bathroom sink, eventually pulling out a bottle of some mysterious liquid. “ Ya!” She replied. “ I’ve been here for quite a few months…and I am in the second year as well!” Her brows furrowed as she returned to the tub’s side, and poured some of the liquid into the water. “… Say…how new are you, friend? How aware are you of recent events?” Oh wait… “ Heh…a name would be good as well!”

The canine relaxed a smidge as the tub filled with water. There was hope. There was always hope that those blood stains would come out and all would be right with the world. This winged ... reaper? looked like she knew what she was doing at least. Neil could only hope that Roch was right about her. Other wise he'd have to find that purple haired reaper later and chew a few shoes as pay back. Pay back wasn't really his style though. An ear flicked. Oh! Hel was talking! Right. He caught the tid bit about recent events and shrugged. "Everyone around here is so secretive about what ever happened. I hear something about a fire and some students getting hurt and hoods. From the bits and pieces I GUESS it sounds like a bound fire gone horribly wrong. I guess." Some students had given him weird looks like he was alien even. What ever went on around this school it seemed most students werent willing to talk to him about it. Newer students didn't seem to mind to accept him. Older ones seemed to have a secret society of some sort. "Neil," He offered his name and looked down at his converse, "So why is everyone so secretive." Not that he cared. Okay, he cared. He just wasn't going to say he did.

Hel didn’t seem to have a doubt that she’d be able to remove those stains, and just casually kept her gaze on the tub, mindful of the water level. She tilted her head back towards the Gimble Wolf as he spoke, and her brows furrowed. He really didn’t know a thing, huh? Well maybe she should— Wait. He was a new student… The reaper recalled that rather secretive meeting they had in the co-ed bathroom, advice and caution about Hunters…how they could be among them…was it possible that this boil— Hel scowled. She was starting to sound paranoid. That just wasn’t any good at all! Hel Brynhildr didn’t go paranoid about loyalties…but she needed to be certain before she started telling him things. The valkyrie turned off the faucet, and then turned around to face Neil. Her eyes were narrowed, her gaze calculating as she stared at the boil from head to toe. That’s right. She was judging him. The ghoul scrutinized him for a long while in a tense silence, and the boil got the feeling like he shouldn’t do anything to set her off while she regarded him, lest he want to try working on getting more blood out of his clothes. Finally, after a moment, Hel relaxed, and grinned. “ It is a pleasure to meet you Neil! I get a good feeling about you.” She was going to trust her gut instinct, and it was telling her he was alright. If Roch felt good enough to mention her name to him, that was further proof too, right? The ghoul then grabbed the towels and just dumped them all into the tub. “… Ah…secretive yes…where to start, where to start…Now…I was not there during that forest incident…but I will tell you, friend, that was no bon fire. I have many friends who were involved with that incident…but still, not a good place to start you off…have you heard anything about the field trips here?”

And there it was , the alien look. Or rather, a scowl. Neil's own brows twitched in to something like a dark scowl and returned the look to the valkyrie. Every time this topic came up it was almost the same damn thing. Students gave him a funny look or got quiet. Neil did not like it at all. And then the ghouls mouth twitched upward in to a grin. A good feeling about him? A good feeling about him? What was this? The boils expression lightened though despite the inner frustration he was feeling. Not only that, but Hel was actually willing to talk about it. "I don't mean to be rude," The gimblewolf looked down at his red converse. "I don't know what happened in the woods or what ever. But every time this topic comes up everyone gives me funny looks. Its really starting to bug the hell out of me like I've done something or some s**t." He was frustrated. The dark look was returning to his face. Despite the fact that Hel was -trying- to explain things, Neil couldn't get past the scowl he'd just gotten. That seemed more important at least for the moment because it felt personal.

Hel just gave a dry chuckle. “ I don’t blame you for feeling that way, friend.” She assured. “ I’d be bothered if everyone looked at me oddly too…but after I tell you what has been going on…what you have enrolled for…you’ll understand why everyone is being cautious and secretive…and giving you weird looks.” The valkyrie rolled up her sleeves to her tunic and knelt at the tub’s edge. She reached in and started to swish the towels around. “ So…let’s start off with this. Have you heard anything about Amityville’s field trips? Ah…you can sit down there if you like…” She jerked her head at the toilet.

Hel chuckled and for what ever reason; Neil calmed. The face returned his normal perma stern look. He hadn't expected her to be so understanding for some reason so it was quite refreshing. She wanted to explain. The gimblewolf gave her a nod. "Thank you for being the first to actually be willing explain." Though admittedly he'd never dug too deep on the topic. Still, knowing why it was a sensitive topic would probably help him out in the long run. At least he hoped it was something that would help him better understand those alien looks.
