Leon blinked again. Was that... what he thought it was? A head in the ground. A vixen's black and white hear was just sticking up out of the ground. He glided down to earth gently from the tree he had been resting in and approached the... head... slowly. The vixen wasn't facing him, but Leon wouldn't be surprised if she was already alerted to his presence. "Hello there!" he decided to call out running over to the other side of the head to face her. "Hi," he said, again once he had stopped running. "Mind if I ask what you're doing down there?"

'Hi there!" Leon repeated. She didn't exactly answer his question yet, but he wasn't going to badger her about that. He settled on introducing himself then. "My name is Leon! What's your name? If you don't mind my asking, of course. You don't have to tell me. And if you'd rather be left completely alone, that's perfectly understandable, too... Just say the word, Miss." Leon would have been disappointed if the vixen turned him away. He loved making new friends, and was still really curious as to why she was in that hole.

"Nice to meet you, Yui!" Leon said. He was rather energetic. He always got like this when he met new foxes, which was pretty often because the 'Phim was always travelling, flying about from place to place and all that. Leon was just a very fun-loving fox. But somehow this 'Phim wasn't completely oblivious. He knew how to gauge the feelings of others well enough, and it seemed as though this vixen did not exactly share his feelings in regards to meeting new foxes.

In fact, judging by the sound of her reply, Leon would guess that Yui was rather... scared of him, perhaps? Leon was a bit put out by this realization. "I'm sorry if I scared you," he said, his entire demeanor had been brought down a number of notches. "I don't mean to come on too strong, honest."

"Oh, I don't feel offended, really!" Leon said. "I just didn't want you to feel uncomfortable." The thought of the situation made Leon laugh. "Sounds like we're just going to keep apologizing to each other," he said with a shake of his head. "That won't really get us anywhere." Leon's large tail swished back and forth. He opened his mouth to say something, but stopped, not wanting to overwhelm her with questions again, which was likely to happen.

Leon just smiled encouragingly, probably guessing that the vixen had just stopped herself from impulsively apologizing again, or something similar. Hm, so what now? Perhaps just one question at a time, or maybe even a simple statement. That should be fine. "So," he began, still unsure where he was going with the sentence. "You like hiding in holes, huh? Or was this just a one time thing?" Well, darn, there was two questions already. Ah well, Leon was who he was, there was little to be done to change that.
