Izzy:
It was mid-day of travel and her sights were spared for just a moment as her breathing slowly eased as the sands of the chease lifted.. Nothing. She hadn't eaten in three days time and already her stomach howled for something. At that moment, she closed her eyes and prayed- for her stomach to ease for the night and to wait for the morning for the second chance at a meal. Some would frown because midday- was just the beginning of the hunt time, but her pads were raw from the massive journey to see Ebio. She had a feeling that her friend wasn't feeling well, and even a seer assured her it to be so. After a long absent watchful eye, she lowered her body in to a lay as she pulled up her satchel and started to softly dip her paws to sooth the pain.
"What a day..." How much she had traveled already- she had to be at least close enough... But her mind was only on Jama now... How she cared for the God so.. maybe- maybe the Gods at Ebio's pride could help! That would be marvelous! Give her advice on her feelings.
Yue:
It was odd for Yue to be out at such a time. He normally stuck to traveling at night, but for some reason, the mid day sun called to him. Maybe it was Lin rubbing off on him, but the sun felt good on his fur. He took in a deep breath and started to sprint. He wasn't sure where he was going, but soon, he found himself stumbling to the ground, tripping over something... large.
Izzy:
"These burn a little.. maybe need some more~" A gruff came out of her- and so did a gasp before she turned with a smile on her face. "Whoopsie~" A giggle let out before she lifted to roll the body off. "Why hello~ you could have just said hi~" A soft laugh there-followed.. "Didn't mean to be in your way of course~"
Yue:
He blinked and stood, shaking himself off. "excuse me.." he said softly as he sat down and looked at her. "I didn't hurt you... did I?" he asked, keeping his voice soft. She seemed nice enough, but he could never be sure.
Izzy:
She shook her body off with a lightness after she rose. "I'm fine~ really.. " Bowing her head. "And you?" She couldn't help but be concerned. "I'm Izzy, I was traveling the lands here- were these yours? I would be greatly sorry. I just wanted to find the way to the desert. Do you know where I can get there from?"
Yue:
He shook his head, "I don't belong to any." He said as he watched the lioness carefully. "I.. I'm a wanderer." He said as he looked back from where he ran, "Me and my.... Lin." he hesitated a bit at the last part.
Izzy:
"Oh, that's good. I am too- I sometimes perform for prides but that was a bit in the pats now." She laughed softly, until she felt the aura change about them. Ears went flat.. When he said that last part, she couldn't help but be curious about what this 'Lin' was. Looking around, she saw no one.. "Um.. What is a Lin? I am unfamiliar with it.." Looking generally confused.
Yue:
He looked back to her, his ears also flattening. How was he going to describe her? Was she his friend? Girlfriend? Mate? Were they that close yet? He wasn't sure. "She's my.... friend." He said as he looked down to his paws..
Izzy:
Izzy's head tilted, one way, then slowly went the other way. Sorta like bird. With big eyes. "A friend." Her voice got stronger in the tone of friend. "Well... This 'friend' of yours. Um- doesn't look like 'Lin' is around.. but from the sound of it- she isn't really just a friend.. hm?" Softly leaning her paw in and lifting her chin. "Maybe a little more than a friend?" She looked in to his eyes to read what they really meant. "I have one of those too."
Yue:
His ears perked up and he quickly looked up to her, almost hurting his neck with the quick gesture. "What? No... I mean.." His eyes were wide, but when he said no, a wave of guilt came over him. It was true, she wasn't just a friend. But after that deal with the cheetah cub earlier, he wasn't sure if he wanted to continue seeing her. His head hung low. That was a lie, and he felt sick just thinking about leaving her. He didn't think he could if he tried. "Yes... your right." He admitted, "She is more than a friend.... I just.." he sighed, unable to hide it anymore. "I'm not sure."
Izzy:
"Not sure? " She questioned him and sighed. "Not sure because you are not sure- or because Lin is not sure?" She propped her body up and shook it out before lying back down again. "It seems you have some doubts, I have helped a hefty amount of others in my travels. Including healing and advice, if you want.. If you want. I have the best ears- am willing to listen to a perfect stranger.." A soft smile came over.. Really wanting him to feel comfortable, and light when he was around her. Maybe then he could get helped on his much needed doubts...
Yue:
He thought for a moment. "Yes... both." He said. He really didn't know WHAT Lin wanted. Yes, she's told him countless times not to leave her, but how did she mean that? Yes, they did try to have a talk about cubs, but that blew up in his face when that CUB came along. Did she really want to be with him? Or did she just like the idea of having him around? Was he her security blanket? He wasn't sure. And truefully, he wasn't sure if this lion would be able to help. "Well..." Was he going to open up to her? "I'm not entierly sure.. it's a fixable problem." He said as he looked up to her.
Izzy:
"Hun, if it is matters of the heart, anything can be fixed." She offered him a pat on the shoulder. "If you are willing to make it work, make an effort, then it is never too hard to fix." Swaying her tail. "I shall tell you, a little about mine then.. Someone I want to aid, protect and care for in my deepest wishes. I want to care for him like I cared for no other- and yet I don't know quite what he feels about me- I still.. In my heart wish to care for him." Looking away from him and sighing softly.. "I only want to see him smile..Only to make him happy.. and that is what makes me happy.." Then she looked to him. "Do you want to make Lin happy? You'd do anything to keep that?"
He flinched a little at the pat. rarly did anyone touch him. Ad normally when they did, they either were trying to kill him, or it was Lin. But when she started talking, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. That was exactally how he felt about Lin. He wanted to protect her, make sure she was safe. That no matter what happened to her, he'd be right there with her, to comfort her, like he did with her mom. He didn't wnt to see her hurt, only to see her happy. A small smile came across his lips. "Your right." He said, realizing now what he felt. "I feel the same about Lin." He nodded his head, "Thank you." He said as he stood and made his way back to her.
Izzy:
She smiled to herself, and as he stood and walked off... She felt closure. Felt like- as she finally voiced her love for Jamala... that truly. The lioness finally realized how she felt about the God. Though he didn't quite make his feelings known, she knew that she would only want him to smile again.. Laugh again and be happy. As Yue walked away, she gave a soft sigh...Lifting her body up and turning for her journey once again.. Back to Jamala.
