Jed was shown backstage walking when he runs into an old friend. Jed looked a little pissed when stopping in front of this guy. (Planned no interrupts, unless I messaged you.)

Jarel stands leaning against a wall when he spots Jed in front of him.
"Oh how the mighty have fallen. The once great and iconic Jed has become a bitter shell of his former self. You know, I've known you a long time, and at least half that time I enjoyed bashing your face in. The other half I enjoyed watching you get your face bashed in. But you know, at least then, I had a modicum of respect for you. I fondly remember battling you to extend my hell in a cell streak at Wrestlemania a few years back. I had to do something different to finish you off. A Dragonslam from the side of the cell through the table. That made things interesting. But now, you've changed."
he shakes his head.
"Now you're running a company that at one time was the top company around and you've let it fall into tatters. You've let it get overrun with cowards, much like yourself, backstabbers, again, like yourself, and psychos with split personalities that fashion themselves as gods. Furthermore, you turned your back on an honorable guy, forcing him to do things in payback he wouldn't normally do. But look on the bright side, a change is definitely coming."
He turns to walk away.
"Oh, I was so preoccupied on going to beat the s**t out of E Rock that I almost forgot this. Someone backstage asked me to give you this. And I find it just funny enough to do it. Here."
He reaches out to hand Jed something

Jed looked at Jarel as the crowd cheered. Last time we saw Jed with a wrestlers who passed him a note was two shows ago, and that was GBL. Jed and GBL faced each other twice at Mania. This time it was Jarel. Jed and Jarel had a match at mania two mania's ago. Jed grabbed the paper from him. "Is this a joke? You must be kidding me. A Change Is Coming on December 25, 2011. "
Jed crumble up the paper. He looked at Jarel. "You must be kidding me. Who gave you this? Huh? Who gave you this?" Jed was starting to over react when he calmed down for a second. "It doesn't matter, because I'll be ready for who ever it is. I'm the owner. I'm in charge. In fact I could end your career right now Jarel. But I'm not going to. I maybe not like you, but I'm a fair boss." The crowd booed. Jed just looked at the camera ." I don't have time for this. I've got to go to the ring and talk about the Royal Rumble. " Jed walked past Jarel and head towards the ring.

"BATTLE METAL!"
Turisas's "Battle Metal" blasted through the arena as Dion stepped onto the stage, microphone in hand. He was wearing a new armband that said "Necu-rauder" on it. The fans cheered at the Hardcore Paladin's arrival. He raised a gloved fist to them, which generated more pop from the crowd.
"Alright, alright, settle down now," he said as the music died down. "Everybody please give a round of applause to our illustrious owner, Jed!" He applauded half-heartedly while the rest of the crowd boo'd Jed. "How is everything, boss? Your head doing okay? I heard you took a nasty hit last week." Of course, he was referring to his sneak attack during Jed's match last card where Dion had bashed him with his new shield.

Jed looked at Dion as he wasn't amused at Dion talking. Jed wasn't feeling so good, and if Dion said another word, Jed would try to punch Dion in the face.

Dion looked at Jed; obviously the man did not look happy to see him, but he had had his chance to talk, and now it was his turn. Thankfully, he was out by the entrance ramp and not in the ring.
"Not in the mood for talking, huh? I thought you were going to wow the crowd with the Royal Rumble coming up," he said, pausing to let the cheers die down. "But I suppose I interrupted before you could get the chance. So lets get to why I'm out here right now."
He started walking back and forth across the stage. "See Jed, three weeks ago you interrupted a match between myself and Harli, all over some words of 'disrespect' I gave you. So, having had been out for a week to recuperate - doctor's orders, I swear - I decided last week to pay you back. You cost me a match; I cost you a match. Now we're even. Or are we really even?" Dion stopped at that point. "You introduced me as the future of wrestling. You gave me, a rookie, praise simply for showing you respect. I wanted to aspire to be one of the great ones, to be on that pinnacle. But after what you put me through, by sidelining me, attacking me, and making light of other rookies, I now know that I do not want to be anything like you. I want to be above that," he said, pointing a finger at the man in the ring, "I want to be above your actions. We rookies have impressed you, this you can't deny. Hell, look at Major Devastation," this generated a big pop. "He is probably the top rookie in all of the wrestling federations, miles above myself even. And last week, you were pinned by a rookie...with some help, of course," he said with a grin, which generated a small pop.
"But me? I did your dirty work by beating Rosario, a man you couldn't even defeat yourself, to prove that rookies have just as much pull as veterans in WWF:G. My reward? A set of stairs from the same veteran I thought had my back. I told you last week, I didn't want to start a war...but I sure as hell will end it. Lets end this at the Rumble, Jed. You and me in an Extreme Rules match. You're the owner; make it happen. You know you want to send me back to the locker room on a stretcher, and I want to send you back on a shield. Give me your answer tonight."
At this, he dropped the mic and raised his gloved fist, generating some last minute pop before leaving the stage and heading to the back.

"Hey Coward! You want my answer?" Jed said as he then left the ring and started to head towards Dion. "Come on, I'll give you my answer." Jed tossed the microphone to the side as he was at the bottom of the ramp. Some security members started to come out from the backstage area.
