Thule had been away and even after coming back she hadn't henshined up. Not till today. She remembered though her life was still her's because of the dark mirror senshi and so she decided it was time to henshin up again and to check in. She had no idea what had happened since Leto got beaten up bad but she didn't even know all the details about that.
She knew to keep close to the shadows and she knew they had to collect energy. Other then that she was as new as a senshi could be. She hadn't used her powers though she knew now what they were but had never used them, then again she hadn't battled since space. The thought of space freaked her out a little and she couldn't help but shudder, or was that the cold? They really should have thought about the designs of these outfits for when there was snow on the ground!
She pulled out her mirror shard and looked at it. Wasn't this suppose to collect energy? Oh who was she kidding? She had no idea what she was doing!

oh for crying out loud...
Sailor Grus looked up from her youma battle just as the tiny thing turned to dust. No more youma rat to chase people through restaurants. The body disappeared in her hands, falling like sand to the pavement. She took a step back, turning on the spot to feel what she had felt before. It had a ping of a senshi, with the metallic clang of Chaos infused. She hadn't felt that kind of signature for a couple weeks and thankfully, this one didn't feel as powerful as Sailor Leto. Grus felt her color rise at the thought of the Dark Mirror Senshi, and she clambered up a dumpster and onto a rooftop, feeling for the one she knew was around somewhere.
After a minute of two, she thought she had a pretty good handle on where the mirror senshi could be. She leapt a couple rooftops, feeling that all too familiar rush of happiness at her ability to do this without killing herself. She skidded to a halt across some shingles, peering down onto the sidewalk. Her feet dangled off of the rooftop as she sat, blue eyes boring holes into the top of the senshi's head.
"Hey."

Thule put the mirror shard away pretty quick when she heard someone say hey. She turned around and looked up at the senshi and couldn't help but look a little confused as to how she got up there. Thule really hadn't gotten to grips with this whole senshi business.
"Hey."
It was polite to reply right? She looked up wondering what it was she could ask this senshi but then she remembered she hadn't seen her before, she was too light. She was one of them.
"Who are you?" She wanted a name if nothing else, she had heard names briefly but then it didn't mean she could remember any of them. She was just trying to think in a sense that she needed to get to grips with this and white senshi or not Thule wanted to know some things and starting with a name was a good move.

The girl seemed surprised, which in itself was surprising. Weren't they equipped with power sensing abilities as well? But she didn't sense Grus at all. Hmmm, maybe this was a new one. One that hadn't cemented their ways just yet.
Grus slid off the rooftop, landing 5 or six feet from the girl. A bit close, but maybe it would scare her before she mirror senshi realized she was dealing with a five foot nothing senshi covered in feathers and got her nerve back.
"Sailor Grus." She said simply, taking a step back to give them both some room to breath. Don't give her your sphere, not just yet. Finally the upper hand. Grus wasn't used to it. She hoped not to ruin it and have her butt handed to her.
"You new?"

The senshi jumping off surprised her a little but it didn't surprise her that she was fine when she landed. After all if you were able to sit up there without worrying about falling surely you could land fine?
Grus. Nope hadn't heard that before.
"I am as new as most of the others are." If Grus knew about them of course but she got the feeling that Grus did. Thule wasn't sure how well known the dark mirror senshi were but she knew they had enemies within the white moon which made Grus an enemy.
"Take it your not new." After all now Thule was concentrating the aura sense she got was rather strong, a bit like Leto's had been but this one felt weird, wrong. At least she was learning slowly.

Most of the Mirror senshi were new? Well this was an interesting piece of information. If most of the group were new senshi, then the group as a whole weren't very strong. Besides Leto of course. But then every faction needed a leader.
Back to her latter statement... "No I'm not in the new category. Your a mirror senshi aren't you?" Keep the focus on her. And don't let her hear your heart practically beating out of your chest. Arms crossed in a silent but very obvious gesture of disapproval. "Why on earth would you join them?"
Grus wasn't about to start attacking unnecessarily. This girl didn't seem to know what was up, and she wasn't going to give her a bad impression of White Mooners. Not when she could maybe turn her to their side.

"Yeah I am." Was her response to the Dark mirror senshi. She watched the white moon senshi carefully trying to decide what it was she was about to do. Then the next question came and she laughed.
"I didn't join them. Queen Ares saved my life. You senshi had taken us all to space to kill us, so many died! Ares saved my life and many others that day." The thought that she had joined them was a laughing matter really not that she wouldn't have, Ares had saved her life.
"Why wouldn't you join us? Ares can save you too. You are all going to die eventually when Ares takes over the planets and stars, would make sense that you joined us and purified everything before it is too late." Brainwashed? Possibly it would sound like it. She was just spewing out everything she had heard and been told.

Grus didn't like to be laughed at. People laughed at other people either because they were trying to be funny, or the laugher was trying to be mean. A crease appeared on her forehead just below the red tiara with the black stone. A frown threatened at the edges of her lips, pulled down by the words of the young mirror senshi. Queen Ares? Who the heck was that?
The accusations furthered the trouble Grus was feeling. She didn't like being told that it was her fault for the civilians being tossed up into space. Although...
"You were in space?" Many of them were...Grus wondered if anyone knew the names of the civilians that ended up in the Surrounding. She was familiar with a couple...Finding out who the Mirror Senshi are may be a lot easier than the Negaverse.
But! Back to the matter at hand. "Senshi didn't take you guys up there. We were just as surprised as you were! And we certainly didn't take you up there to die." She drew out the last word to show her just how silly the accusation sounded. "And this Ares person sounds like a dictator. There is no way one person can rule the entire universe!"
Grus shook her head saying "There's absolutely no way I'm going anywhere near Chaos and you Mirror Senshi. Especially after the way your buddy Leto treated me." The memory made her back hurt, and she pushed it away.

"You were up there? You aren't one of them!" Them referring to the zodiacs, Virgo in particular. "Virgo spoke about how they use to kill people, sacrifices or something. They killed people for magic. Tell me how that makes them good?" Oh yes Kestrel wouldn't forget that story which meant Thule would always remember it. They killed people for their own gain! "Ares is fair and caring. She looks after us, she knows us. Where is your princess? Everyone has to have a leader or you fall apart, no discipline... leads to failure. So if you are all right without Chaos, why is it you keep loosing? Why is it we are all getting stronger? It's called structure and you don't have it." Thule was being honest about what she had seen in the Surrounding. She had heard senshi arguing with each other and all sorts, none seemed to get on, there wasn't anyone in charge and it was all a mess. At least under Ares everyone knew what was expected of them they knew what they could and couldn't do. "Leto treated you? Why you upset her?"

Sacrifices? Her head tilted in confusion. "Yeah I was up there, but I didn't hear about any sort of sacrifices.And I certainly wouldn't participate in them!" She sounded offended, and rightly so. Senshi weren't the ones using people as energy farms. Granted, neither were the DMC, but that didn't stop Grus from clumping them together with the Negaverse.
Princess again! What was everyone still talking about this Princess for? She groaned, putting a hand over her eyes. "Not this again. I don't know who's princess everyone is talking about, but I don't care where she went. She wasn't here when I started fighting, so I feel no loss for her. Structure." She went on to say, removing the hand form her eyes "We have more structure than you think. Or will ever know."
Her blue eyes narrowed. So Little Miss High-And-Mighty didn't tell her fellows what she did? Well, what fun then!
Her face took on the mold of someone who knew a secret. "Leto doesn't let you guys on huh? Well since you are so against sacrifice, you'll enjoy this." Her arms crossed, and the wind blew by, ruffling both their fukus.
"Leto almost killed me." She said, letting the statement hang in the air for a moment before continuing on. "She tried to murder me and for what? Energy. You talk about the monstrosity of a senshi that even mentions sacrifice, but you align yourself with someone who actively seeks it. Lucky for me I had someone nearby. I only had to spend three days in the hospital instead of the rest of eternity in a coffin." She was going for shock. Perhaps to scare Thule, or make her mad. Something to rattle her thought process.
Maybe she could be saved.

To let the negaverse have their precious earth and so that we can return to space where we belong." Thule didn't care if this senshi died not if it helped the greater good. Senshi did not belong on Earth.
"Also if you care so little for this princess why fight? Have you ever spoken to the negaverse? Do you know what happened to them and why they fight?" Thule was happy to have this argument even though she didn't know much and was putting an argument together through scraps of conversations she had heard.
"What reason do you have to believe you are right? I was dragged from my life, to live in space with senshi who cared little for me or my life. I saw people die. I died. If it wasn't for Ares I would still be dead, she saved my life and her vision is logical and makes sense. Senshi belong in space not here and so we are going to bring that life back to the skies." Thule was rambling...

Senshi may not belong on earth, but anyone who had been to space knew that they certainly did not belong there either. "Virgo is not my problem, just like this Princess is not my problem." She said with a wave of her hand, as if to dismiss them both. When did she become so flippant? "I fight to protect those that I love. How would you feel if one of your family members was attacked and almost killed, all for their energy?" This hadn't happened yet. But Grus wasn't going to deny the nightmares that she had. Nightmares where her sister, mother, father, all were dragged into darkness by someone like the person standing in front of her. She wouldn't let that happen."As for the Negaverse, they all say the same thing. 'We fight to get you guys off this planet'. Tell me O Savior of Earth. Have you ever been to space?"
Her planet. the thought filled her with a sense of warmth. And a drop of dread. No one would live there anymore. "We don't belong there. Our planets are not what they used to be. And why? Because Chaos came and ruined them all!" Snippets of flashbacks, seeing the smiling girl and the laughing boy. Were they alive when her planet went under? Or did they see out their lives before their home was burned?
"Our families are here." she stated simply, meeting Thule's gaze and holding it. "We're not going anywhere as long as that remains true."

"You assume so much. Do we even have families?" It was a quick reply. Her parents had basically disowned her, she had been in so much trouble her parents didn't care what happened to her. They hadn't even noticed she was missing when she was in space.
"Have I ever been to space?" The look on her face said it all. What a stupid question.
"If that's the only answer you have been given you have hardly talked." She just stood there in one of those 'your not cool enough for me' pose. Attitude was written all over her face.
Thule cared little for family. She had never really had one and nor did she really want one. She hadn't exactly seen reason to have a family, not from her experience.

Blue eyes rolled as she was tossed back even more attitude than she had dished out.
"Well I know you were in the Surrounding. You mentioned that." her reply was dripping sarcasm. "Your a Dark Mirror Senshi. Granted, a messed up senshi, but you get your power from a planet nonetheless. We get to visit our planets. Have you visited yours?" Her arms crossed in front of her, knowing the answer before she heard it. "You want us gone? Visit where you come from and then tell me you think it's a good idea to bail on outta here."
This was a waste of time. It was obvious that this red head was too far gone into the clutches of Chaos. Part of her was sad. She wanted to reach out, to somehow start to change the way all of them saw eachother. But Thule wasn't having any of it.
She turned, making it clear that she was done talking to the other. Her time was better spent chasing down youma or people that would actually do real damage to something. "Look, you might wanna check what your suite is gonna look like before you start booking all of us permanent rooms up in the sky. The Negaverse want us gone, and they don't care how we feel about it. Why should they? They get this nice little planet all wrapped in a bow and we get to go try and rebuild some semblance of a life." Her footsteps echoed through the words, as if to give her thoughts some finality.
"But hey, what do I know? I'm just a senshi."

"Your a misinformed senshi and if you want join us you might as well be useful." Thule wasn't going to let this just go. She clutched on to the bag she had attached to her that held her mirror wraith. "Might as well get some energy to help with the fight... Don't run too fast, I can stop you." She smirked, knowing what her powers did now helped matters.
"So you going to do this the easy or hard way?" Either was good for Thule, she wasn't going to let this go easily which she probably should. Then again new senshi meant she wasn't as experienced nor as clever as her opponent.
